This is our second visit to the formerly Path of Pines Campground. New owners and they seem to be wanting to make improvements. It is flat and easy to get around. Trees need to be trimmed to allow for easier access and open up the campground. They have no sewer sites but a dump station is available. No TV or 50amp. Most sites are pull-through with a few back-ins and tent site. The bath house floors get very wet so they need regular attention. The best thing going for this campground is its proximity to Fish Creek and Peninsula State Park: exactly one mile to the entrance of Peninsula State Park. We used our bikes for transportation and explored the area thoroughly. This is an OK place to stay but with a few updates could be awesome. We will return due to the proximity to Fish Creek. We camped here in a Motorhome.

From their web site: We will not be taking any reservations for this season. Our business plan has changed and we are honoring our contracts with existing full season campers from 08'. Therefore we will have no daily, weekly or monthly camping for 09'. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Path of Pines is located about a mile from Fish Creek on Cty Rd F. There is not a lot of activities located on the campground. Granted I stayed there in mid Oct. The small town makes up for the lack of things to do at the campground. Fish Creek has numerous shops and places to eat. Keep in mind it is normal Door county shopping and prices are high. Peninsula state park is near by and is worth spending some time looking at. Back to the campground. The owners were very nice and helpful. The bathrooms were kept very clean. Showers are free and had plenty of water pressure and hot water. Sites are very easy to get into. Overall its a good campground. I would like to see more things to do within the grounds though. If your looking to get away for a long weekend and a quiet place where you can get out and see some of Door county then I would recommend staying here. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.

We camped in Weborg site #104: one of the best sites in the park as it has a direct view and access to Lake Michigan. There are only a handful of sites in Weborg which makes it very secluded and private for a state park. Plus, you're in walking distance of Fish Creek which has great shops and restaurants. We could not have asked for a better location. However, like many older Wisconsin state parks, the electric hookups can operate poorly, especially in bad weather: like we had during our stay at Weborg. After a rain storm we were unable to get an air conditioner running off our electric pedestal. And in 90 degree humid weather a great location was not enough to keep us here and we left early: after reserving the site a year in advance. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We camped at site #103 in the Weborg loop of Peninsula State Park.. This is a 30 amp electric only site. We've camped here before in a smaller (35') Class A, but it was difficult maneuvering our 41-footer. We clipped several bushes and trees trying to get in and out of our site. Also, site #103 is not very level. We wanted to pull into the site with the front of out RV facing the lake, but could not do it as we would have been too out of level. So we ended up backing in. However, this loop of Peninsula SP is well worth it. The views are breathtaking. This park has superb hiking and biking trails. In addition Fish Creek is a short drive (or bike ride) away and has an abundance of restaurants and stores. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Excellent location for visiting Door County. Many activities available within park: bike and boat rentals, hiking and biking trails, boat launch, nature center. In summer, there is live theatre performances. We stayed in Tennison Bay campground, one of several in the park. Sites were large, level, shady. Would definitely stay here again. The "pad" for the RV/trailer is dirt, not gravel. It rained the first night, so we had a mud puddle. Then it dried out and got very dusty. Good showers. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
