Nice city park next to the fairgrounds and situated above the Kickapoo river. Mixture of shady and open sites. Avoid last weekend in Sept. since it's the apple festival and they are packed. Site layout is a little confusing. Only a few pull thru sites. All sites are on grass. Dump station is on the exit road. We camped here in a Motorhome.
While exploring this part of Wisconsin we came upon this nice little city campground. While we did not overnight here, I thought knowing about this campground may help others if in this area as very few campgrounds are listed in this part of Wisconsin. 30 amp sites with water. No dump station that I could find. One portable toilet. No other washrooms or showers. Nicely laid out, side by side hookups. Grass sites. Weekly and monthly rates available. Quiet area, nestled up against the Kickapoo River. Boating/kayaking, fishing in area. AT&T cell, Verizon air card ok. Satellite TV pointing appeared to be no problem. Some sites shaded, others in the open. Next to county fairgrounds. I would recommend this nice little park for anyone passing through this area. Located at the south end of 'School Avenue', south of old high school. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
