Beautifully clean and within walking distance to downtown. If you are visiting Crex Meadows Wildlife Area, this is a great place to stay. Fall in Grantsburg is awesome with thousands of sandhill cranes, migrating hawks and ducks, friendly townspeople and good restaurants. Close to the twin cities too: only 75 minutes to Minneapolis. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here in August of 2009. This is a city-owned campground. It was a surprise to see a town of only around 1,300 people have a campground so clean, nice and having full hook-ups. The sites were large, paved and level, but a bit close together. Some were shaded, others open with lots of grass. We were in spot #12 right on the river which was nice to listen to. We got satellite TV and Verizon cell service. The park is within walking distance of town but there is not much to do. We would highly recommend this park. The only reason that I gave it a 9 is because of the closeness of the spaces. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We stayed for just one night. Every site has full-hook ups, a picnic table and fire pits. Nice large sites. The sites along the river are quite scenic. Within walking distance to town. We would return. Great value and easy access. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We stayed at this park over Labor Day Weekend when it was really hard to find a place to stay. This is a city owned campground. It was a pleasant surprise. Roads were paved and easy to maneuver. Sites were large, paved and level. Some were shaded, others open with lots of grass. It was a clean well maintained park. It is big rig friendly. There is not much to do in Grantsburg, but the park is within walking distance of town. We would not hesitate to return to this park. We camped here in a Motorhome.
