"Crooked River State Park" in St Marys, Georgia - was rated: 9

Many of the sites are surrounded by trees, which lends to great privacy and a nice woodsy feel. Despite being here in the summer we did not have a bit of trouble with mosquitos or other biting insects. The restrooms and grounds were very well maintained. The only drawback was the need for more garbage cans and a second dump station. We had to wait in line for almost an hour, since they only have one station. We would definitely camp here again.

If you are wanting a campsite on the ocean this is the place for you. All of the sites are a bit close, but not as bad as some I have seen in the past. Just a short walk over the dunes and you are on the beach. Staff was wonderful and very helpful. The only area that could use some improvement is the WiFi. It is only in the office. Park was very quite in the evenings and is a place that we will be visiting again!

Absolutely beautiful, very wooded. Nice beach area but parking near beach can become limited, try to take your bikes. This is a wonderful area for those who want to experience nature through camping, biking, hiking, and swimming. Watch out if you have a very large camper, this place is heavily wooded. Check out the bat house at night. Oh, and the fried onion rings in the beachside deli were great, nice and fat!

"Broken Bow RV Camp" in Escalante, Utah - was rated: 7

Owners are working to improve this older park. Our site was level with plenty of room, and shade from a nearby tree. All pull thru sites, with half large enough for big rigs (our fifth wheel is 34 feet) The WiFi is fast and was reliable. The bathrooms and showers are very clean and neat. The laundry has new commercial machines, and was clean. Overall, an acceptable place to stay while exploring. I agree with the other reviews that pulling weeds would be a good idea. The cabins have been remodeled, but I did not go in one.

Very pretty area, river area is beautiful. Some of the sites around the pool are quite open without much shade. Pool was packed with kids. Definitely a family friendly place. Those who want a more child free quiet retreat may want to look elsewhere or at least avoiding setting up near pool area.

"Eagle Cliff Campground & Lodging" in Lanesboro, Minnesota - was rated: 4

Campground and surrounding area is very beautiful. Sites are spacious and clean. Unfortunately, you are met with a list of rules that many of the seasoned campers in our group had never heard of. Rugs must be picked up every night. They actually drive around in the early morning and pick up your rugs and leave you a note. One of our group had his rug picked up and laid across his brand new truck. Not Cool! The second night we rolled the rug up next to our tent. They took our rug. Tents are expected to be moved every 2 nights. With all of the stuff we had in our tents we thought this was extremely unneccessary. Picnic tables should be moved every day. I wonder if owners do this themselves when they have no one in the spot. Actual restrooms were not close by and you were expected to use portable toilets. Now if you have an RV great, but if you are tenting, you may want to look elsewhere. Oh, and watch out for the tubing they offer. A very steep decent to the river with your tubes with no offer of helping us and after you get out of the river you have a pretty lengthy walk with your tubes to the office. Would have been nice to be able to leave the tubes by the river.

Very good state park COG. I was there 3 nights during the week and practically had the place to myself. I was in loop D, which their online reservation site said has pull throughs. Yes, but not for big rigs. You can pull through, but even with my rig, at a shade less than 29' counting hitch and spare tire hanging off the back, I had to back up to get it where I wanted to, on my site. Once there, I had a great site #2, with no one closer than about 10 sites away! I'd give it a 10 if it were about $5 cheaper. This close to $30 is on the high side for a state park.

"Pohick Bay Regional Park" in Lorton, Virginia - was rated: 8

I was staying in the DC area for 2 days of business, so I only slept there. For that, it was adequate. I had site 29, which I could back into very easily. Lots of space for my slideout. Good separation from adjacent sites on the sides but when a diesel pusher backed into the one right behind me, they were very close! I've stayed there twice now, for work, and found it adequate both times. It's right off I-95 about 5 miles south of the junction with the beltway, and traffic can be very troublesome. Also be aware their local directions for how to get to it from the I-95 exit you'll use won't work. A small local road is now closed where it used to cross the railroad tracks. You have to take a couple mail streets but it's doable. If you can manage the local streets, you can get to the Franconia-Springfield Metro station, for easy access to/from DC, but driving in northern VA is tedious in the best of times, and a PITA in the worst of times! All things considered, I think the 8 I'm giving it reflects the traffic issues and the cost, which I consider on the high side.

"Sycamore RV Resort" in Sycamore, Illinois - was rated: 5

Ok for a pass through, which was all we were interested in, so we can't comment on activities. There is a pond you can swim or fish (catch/release) in but we didn't care. Lots of semi-permanent at the current time, due to some nearby construction bringing in an influx of out of town construction folks in their big rigs. We were staying 2 nights with friends so we were both assigned back-in sites on a huge, football-sized expanse of crushed rock and hard gravel, with hardly a blade of grass visible! Made me wonder if that's what camping at Wal-Mart with hookups would be like. Not much ambience at all, as I define the word (trees, grass, etc). At least the sites (which are perdendicular to the access roads, not at an angle) were easy enough to back into, and quite level. My other two little gripes about this place are: their wifi is without a doubt the best I have ever encountered at a campground. I logged in immediately and got a strong signal the whole time I was there. But their software requires you to type in info in about 3 pages before you are actually online. Not a big deal, and in exchange for the strong signal, not worth a lot of complaining, but it was worth noting. Second: this place nickel and dimes you to death! We were there to meet family members for a picnic supper by our trailers, and the CG requires every visitor to pay $2 a head for even that minimal amount of visitation! It's not that good a place!! If it hadn't been for that, and the rocks, I might have given them a strong 7 or maybe a weak 8, but there is still the huge expanse of crushed rock to contend with and that means this place will never be more than a 7 or an 8 for me!

Good campground. We were in a site along the back field and it was quiet. They have a lot of great things for the kids to keep them busy, swimming, mini golf, pool and lake for swimming, more than 1 playground. we have been there twice and will be back again next year or maybe even this fall.

Very good state park. Heavily treed, very quiet during the week. Lots of sites fairly well spaced, although we were given a pull through that was fairly close to the ones on either side of us. Many of the back-in sites were quite large and well separated from their neighboring sites. We were only passing through on a long trip so we were only interested in a quiet place to stop overnight and we were not disappointed. We are planning a return visit later this season, and may well stay there again!

We love this place. Small, quiet, clean!! We have camped their twice now, this last trip was for over a week. The owners are very friendly and keep a clean campground. If you want to be right in the heart of Gatlinburg then this is not the place for you, but if you want to enjoy the mountains and have an easy drive into Gatliburg then we highly recommend visiting Smoky Bear.

"Odetah Campground" in Bozrah, Connecticut - was rated: 8

This really is a lovely campground. It is clean, well-cared-for, the staff is helpful and there is a ton of things to do. They just added a little restaurant-type thing on the beach by the lake - which is really nice and the food isn't half bad! They always have activities for kids and adults. The lake/beach area itself is clean and the lake has a nice, sandy bottom. The pool is clean and the hot tub is great! Fantastic campground. Most sites for the road warriors are relatively level although I do recommend you bring leveling blocks just in case. Some of the lettered sites in the back are near the woods, and we've had an instance there with bees. So be careful about that. The only negative (for me) of this campground is that pets need to stay on your site (this is enforced) and there is only one trail near the lettered sites where you can walk your dog. This campground had problems with people walking their dogs and not cleaning up after them - so they created the rule of no pets in the campground. This past visit I saw a person walking her dog, despite the rules, and she didn't clean up after it. Well, it was a half-hearted clean-up attempt. She was caught by staff within 5 minutes and had to return her dog to her campsite. Impressive. It is a shame that people can't be better about their pets - it is a loss to those of us who do have pets and DO clean up after them. So I can never give this campground a 10 because I want to be able to walk my dogs there and I cannot. But I understand why the rule is in place - obviously not all campers are nice people. Still, overall a great campground.

Good campground for a stop over on way to final destination. Easy after hour check in. The sites are tight. Took us two trips around the campground before we got the angel right to pull into our site without running over the sewer connection. It was really nice to have cable on the stop over so no need to try to hook up satelite for one night. Will be staying there again on stop overs.

This campground is fantastic. Clean, well-kept, level sites, a nice pool and a hot tub even!

There is a heavy gate going in and out of the campground that gives a nice sense of security. Plenty of sites, plenty of places to walk your dog, a lovely, lovely campground.

The owners of this campground made the decision to make the whole park seasonal for 2009. :( Hence my "5" rating. It's lovely, but I can't go there again. So if you are looking for a lovely seasonal place in Indiana, here is one. Otherwise, this campground is no longer available for us road warriors.

My biggest complaint with this campground was the scheduling issues. I have two dogs and I requested to have a RV/Big-Rig site near the dog walk area. I was told over the phone when I booked the site, it would be one of the sites near the dog walk area. Imagine my surprise when I was told our site was clear across the campground in an area heavily populated with seasonals. I also was quite clear that I had a 34' motorhome that was towing a Honda CR-V. I did get a pull-thru site but the nose of the rig was in the road and the bumper of the tow vehicle was also in the road! The front desk was staffed with polite but unhelpful people who really didn't care to resolve any issues I had. Fortunately, I did not stay here for more than one night. I will not camp here again because of the poor service received by the staff.

This is a nice park within a mile or so of downtown Bayfield. There's a swimming beach a few miles down the road to the south, and a nice city park beach a ferry ride away on Madeline Island.

This is a great base camp for exploring the apostle islands, kayaking to see the caves, and relax around a campfire.

The park host makes rounds every afternoon selling firewood bundles, kept the bathrooms clean, and was friendly.

We didn't have any trouble getting our 42' through the park and there seemed to be plenty of spaces that would accommodate us. I like the spots on the upper level with the view of lake superior, but the lower sites tucked into the woods were nice too.

This park is run like a strict business so if you are looking for friendly, warm hospitality go elsewhere. We were accused of not picking up after our dog. We are aware of the rules and did not break them but received a letter taped to our door saying we would be charged $25.00 for any dog poop not picked up?? Please...We also were charged the higher winter rate in July. The office manager was very rude and was always yelling at someone on the phone every time I was in the office. When we were pulling out we waved and the owner just looked the other way, tells you the friendly environment.

We agree with the other comments, but were close to the road and did find the road noise objectionable. DirecTV reception is good. Verizon is extended service and National Access for data card. The local Telco is Alltel which I understand was just bought by Verizon, so service may improve. We had 30amp service and found the voltage was low, 108vac with 1200w load around supper time.

Good Sam Rate. This old park does have a nice appearance to it when you look at it, but is not practical as many have mentioned the sites are the narrowest I've ever seen. We couldn't hook up the sewer and when opened slides you hit shrub's on both sides. Only one trash bin for all of park. The guy running the park is a bit goofy. Decent laundry and pool. We stay here to visit friends close by. Watch out for water pressure that varies. When I first hooked up it was 25 lbs. so I didn't put on the regulator. A few hrs. later my bride said the water pressure/volume was great. I went and looked and it went to 80 lbs!! I put the reg. on real quick. Electric fine. Wouldn't stay here again.

This park remains the nicest KOA in the entire system, in our opinion, but you now pay more and get less. They have dropped the daily newspaper delivered to your site and switched over their own former excellent free Wi-Fi system to a free system operated by an outside firm, but it is not nearly as good. Despite all this they have bumped their rates up to almost $60 per night for a full-hookups pull through site. My gosh, this ain't California. And, my biggest gripe with them, is that they recommend an outfit called Ranch RV as an on-site repair firm. I don't know if they get a kickback or what, but this firm is bad...bad...bad. They totally ripped us off. Good park, but consider the price and the problems.

Like all old KOAs, it's OLD. Many old 'permanent' trailers around. Plus a dozen or so 'permanent' house trailers. Small cramped roads make it a bit difficult for large motorhomes to navigate. WI-FI spotty. Friendly staff, a nice gaggle of ducks that visit often with a nice pond, overnighter only!

Once again the registration is a free for all. If you plan on having a full service site do not come here. All of the sewer sites are passed around to the regulars. Old, small sites and an invisible staff. Last night one of the campers decided to burn his garbage in a campfire and managed to gross out at least ten other campsites full of people. Some sites only have 20 amp service, check before you commit to a site. We will not return to this campground.

I expected more. The drive in was beautiful with orchards and rock cliff views. Nice landscaping at entry only. The check-in staff was less than warm or caring. Our site was on a busy corner with a big dip into the site making it difficult to unhook and hook up. The whole place was dirt and unlevel. Wind made dust fly everywhere. They say they have cable, but its only available to a few long term sites. Its great for families with kids as kids were everywhere, they left trash about and knocked on our door rather late trying to collect bottles. There seems to be absolutely no staff policing anything. Being on the lake is very nice and the views are nice. We didn't use the restroom or laundry. Wouldn't stay again.

"Newport Dunes Waterfront RV Resort" in Newport Beach, California - was rated: 10

Out of all the RV parks across the USA and Canada, this park exceeds them all. The price is just right for the area... next to the Hyatt and across from Fashion Island (an extremely high end shopping mall). This area is littered with Ferrari's, Austin Martins, and other 6 figure cars. $250/night at a local hotel is the minimum... so getting away with this cheap fare in this location (although extremely high for RV parks) is understandable. I came here on business, and to stay in another RV park would be at least an hour of traffic each way to get into the area. The giant motorhomes (i.e. 250K +)can be found in the beach front spots paying premium prices. The RV park itself surrounds a swimming lagoon protected by a long over water pedestrian bridge. The water opens to a Boat Launching ramp and Marina for Newport Beach. The Marina opens to the ocean. Toy Haulers can be found bringing their own golf carts. The park is big enough to want them... and they'll rent you one if you don't bring your own. They'll also rent pedal boats and canoes. Plenty of beach area overlooking the lagoon.... and lots of water toys set up in the water to play on. Trails for bike riding, rollerblading, or walking around the lagoon. Pool & spa are heavily used. Well supplied store. Large laundry room. Very large staff to maintain the resort including lots of security to help the guests and enforce the rules. Although the sites didn't look big enough, it all fit and was actually very easy to get into (e.g. mine is a 36' Fifth Wheel). The turf, sandy dirt, is fitting for the environment you'll notice when you reach the gate. You're at the beach (e.g. bathing suit attire is typical).

Perfect for beach lovers and ocean front sites are a must - pay the surcharge to have the ocean in your window when you awake. The only downsides to this location are two - the sites are very, very close together and they alternate facing in and out. As a result, you are canopy to canopy with your neighbor with no buffer. Hook-ups can be a real stretch if you are nose in. That being said, the staff is wonderful, the beach is expansive, and the experience delightful - if and only if privacy is not an issue.

We have stayed here in the July/August time frame for several previous years. Although we have rated the park in the 8/9's in the past, we can no longer do so. The park has declined in quality just since last year. All sites are gravel and mostly level, but are side to side and quite close together. Grass has been replaced by weeds which are choking out what grass remains. Grounds maintenance is minimal at best. Mosquito's are a constant problem being sourced from a large adjacent open field. Although there is spraying a couple times a week, the pests are a constant concern. It appears that management, on site, are giving preference to long term tenants. Many seem to go to work daily in the area. RV quality, is not as found in many more well maintained parks. One redeeming quality is the laundry which is commercial quality and well maintained.

We are really liking the state parks in Georgia. They are clean large sites and the only thing lacking was sewer at the site. However the dump location was easy to get to and always available. The RV sites are all pull thru with picnic benches and fire pits also cable. Lots of stuff to do golf, hiking swimming, miniature golf, boat rental, etc. Also great restaurant at the lodge. The only reason I didn't give it a 10 is no sewer dump at each site.

The other reviewers presented an accurate picture of this campground - a real find and big rig friendly. However the earlier listing indicated that it had water and sewer - not true. Sites are electric only and some with 50 amp. Satellite reception is good on many sites but local TV is poor. Fire rings and picnic table are at each site as well as a nice gravel pad. The road in from the North (281) is curvy but no problem for the largest rigs. longitude 79.36655W Latitude 39.80489N

Park was a pleasant surprise. Appears to be recent upgrades have occurred. The older part of park has many trees and shade with shorter sites and 30 amp power. The newer section is in the open and is big rig friendly. The interior roads & sites are gravel. There are 9 sites in this area. Roads are wide & make entry & exit easy. Sites are a little on the narrow side, but would accommodate any size coach with any number of slides. Since no trees our site was satellite friendly. Utilities are modern, but electric placement causes need for long electric cord. Park is one mile south of I-70 so road noise was not an issue. Pool appeared to be new & was gorgeous. Wi-Fi was outstanding. We will return to this park.

This is the best KOA, by far, that we've ever seen. It's not perfect, but it is pretty darn good! Note, if you want open sun sites, opt for the premium sites. If you want shaded sites, don't go with the premium sites. I was able to get satellite coverage in the non-premium sites, but I also saw many others that didn't have the same luck. Positives: Great location in the woods and far enough off of the highway to make sure there is no noise, yet still very close to the West Glacier entrance. Employees are great--this isn't the standard "a bunch of teenage kids run the joint" that we've seen so many times. The premium sites are very nice, green, and spacious. Pool and hot tub area well maintained. Great on-site little 'restaurant' and ice cream shop. A neighbor lady runs a dog sitting service if you want a day of adventure without taking Fido with. Playground is in great shape and has everything needed to keep the kids happy. The tourist items in the shop are better than anything we found in Glacier, and at some very reasonable prices. Negatives: Wi-Fi is not very reliable as many have stated. The non-premium sites tend to be dirty (no grass) and sizes vary; some extremely tight, some very spacious. Not all sites can have campfires. There are a lot of great parks in the area. This one should be considered one of them. Price-wise, it is high. But, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. A city location with a pine tree setting. Pool was gorgeous, but a little too cold. Interior roads and sites are gravel. Sites are long, but too narrow. The trees created issues for a big rig. We had to back up to clear slide from trees. One also needs to take precautions due to tree sap. Use of awnings was not possible. Wi-Fi was excellent. Each site had a table & fire ring. Park seemed overpriced for a narrow, gravel site.

We arrived to the campground for a week stay and was disappointed from the beginning. The sites that were assigned to us were horrible. They weren't close to being level. It took a car ramp to park my travel trailer on to even come close to leveling it. It took my brother-in-law 4 packages of leveling blocks to almost level his trailer. The lot that was assigned to my father-in-law had a recently cut stump on it. Some of the staff members were constantly rude and even refused to speak when spoken to. The putt-putt course is not as is appears on the website. It appears that it was built where a parking lot had previously been. My kids told me that another child had found a live frog in the swimming pool. I will never spend any more of my money at this campground; definitely a learning experience.

This park was just too big for our tastes. Campers were jammed in everywhere. Campground traffic was non-stop until around midnight. We were camped next to a site that had 3 tents, a screen house, 3 dogs and 6 people, or as my wife called it,'the refugee camp'. The dogs would bark when anyone passed their site which was about every 30 seconds, there was trash and food scraps and dirty dishes all over their picnic table(we ended up with ants in our camper). I kept having to chase off a stray cat that kept trying to bring us a dead chipmunk as a 'welcome' present. Dumpsters were full on Saturday night and were pretty ripe by Sunday night. Drunk, noisy neighbors across the street, snobby seasonals all over the place. Constant road noise from Rte. 6. The only good things about this place were a decent playground with fairly new equipment, clean bathrooms and the access to the Cape Cod Canal trail. Other than that, I think we will pass on a return visit.

Campground was very clean and quiet, located on Lake Ossipee with a nice beach for the use of the family campground(summer/day camp has own separate beach area). Although this is a Lutheran run campground, there is no expectation or pressure to attend any religious activities. Activities included movie night, ice cream social and tye-dye t-shirt making.
I think this park has been way overrated in the past. My dad told me it was a four star?!? So yes, the pool area and activities are great. Period. But the sites are pretty rough for what I expected. The pavement was all chewed up and the sites are very uneven. And the landscaping is just overgrown brush. (I think I expected more with the prices.) It's not that high in elevation (although my parents say they've camped there in the snow) but in the summer it gets really hot. Was 102 when we visited. When we asked two different people for hiking maps, they told us there wasn't really anywhere to go nearby and that we had to drive into Ldyllwild for that; too far. But I see the site says there is hiking, so I guess we just missed it somehow. It's a great place to have a bike or scooter as you'll need it to get around. They even have a tram to pick you up for things like bingo and the BBQ. I noticed people using scooters (even though I thought the signs says they weren't allowed). Golf carts also not allowed except for the handicap. Overall it was okay. Seemed best for people who are looking to socialize and do the activities. I guess we don't really fall into those categories so we didn't see the beauty. Can't remember how much it cost to be a guest. But remember that it wasn't cheap and not $10. Want to say at least $35.

Wi-Fi can be spotty especially at lower levels of park. Staying in a TT and would stay again. Docksider restaurant(on Glen Lake) a few minutes away, is a nice place to relax.

Not a bad park, just will not stay here again due to where it is. It is about 45 miles from the St. Mary's east entrance to Glacier NP. It is about 40 miles from the West Glacier west entrance. There is no sewer and the dump station is in a very bad location. We were told that we could let our gray tank just run on the ground. I've never camped anywhere where that was allowed. Wifi was free and worked acceptably. AT&T phones will not work here. Verizon will. You are allowed to wash your rigs here.

I'll say this: What did we expect for the rate? It was not expensive, and it is mostly a long-term resident park. The pool was clean, so were the restrooms, but I would not let my kids use them without an adult escort, as some of the people hanging around seemed frightening. We followed the sheriff into the park, it was not a social call, that should have been a sign... We won't stay there again.

We loved this campground as a stopping point (not a destination) - it's about 10 miles north of Crescent City. Although it is right next to Hwy 101, there is very little traffic noise. The sites are rustic with dirt pads, but have fern and beautiful redwood trees all around. I understand a new owner acquired it a year or so ago, so they have really done a great job revamping the campground. There is a new playground, horseshoes, and cabins along the outer perimeter (which seemed very nice from the outside). This campground lacks a store (which I understand will be coming in the near future), a pool (although it was too cold to swim when we visited), and a large laundry room (only two washers and two dryers, which were being used to wash the rental cabin linens). There are several campgrounds in Crescent City, but these were all unpleasant - just a parking lot with full-timers living in them, so your best bet is The Redwoods RV. Since there isn't much to do in Crescent City, I suggest using this campground as a stopping point for a couple nights.

Very close to boat rentals etc. It is close to the freeway but hardly any noise . All the parks in the area are close to the freeway though. The sites are large for any size rig and level. there is an onsite manager which is nice. there is a grass area between each site and lots of shade. The park wasn't crowded which for us is a plus. The only downside is the cable channels didn't come in very clear, other than that we will be back on our next trip.

We stayed here Aug 2008 for three days. The site was large and pretty level, the rate was quite appropriate for the amenities (swimming pool, laundry, store, ping pong, TV room, bingo, pool table, exchange library, reading room, nightly group camp fire). The bathrooms were ultra-clean, the park was very well maintained and the staff was very helpful. We don't tow a car, the park owners were glad to drop all five of my family around to two local tourist attractions, and picked us up within 15 minutes of our calling for a ride back. There were on-site fishing and kayak guides, I spoke with both of them at length and found them very knowledgable, flexible, and friendly. We rented kayaks and were treated like royalty by all involved. Our visit was so favorable we would have stayed there again on the way home to CA the next week to fish, but mechanical troubles forced us to find another route home.

This is the fourth time we have stayed here in the last 16 months and the facility has remained clean, well maintained, with frequent tribal security patrols and friendly casino shuttles. About 25% are pull through sites but the rest are plenty wide and long enough for 45 footers. The concrete pads are wide enough for the rig and tables and chairs without needing to use the grass areas between sites. Bring your own table as none are provided. The WiFi at G-5 was intermittent at best so I switched to my air card which had good coverage. Last time we were closer to the main building and the signal was better. There is construction equipment noise during the week from work on the main entrance road between Pechanga Rd and the RV park with more work on something beyond the South end of the park. Gas, diesel and propane are available at the 24 hour station on Pechanga Rd. There are 2 dedicated big rig lanes for diesel but they are away from the main station. An 18 hole golf course has just opened prior to the completion of an impressive club house. The basic rate for a motel room is $129.00 so the park charge is worth the price and the local vineyards took a lot more of our money than did the casino.

"Rio Viento" means "Wind River", and there is a reason that this park is a favorite for windsurfers and kitesurfers. There is a huge power-generating windmill adjacent to the park. The park is below the levee, which provides some wind shelter, but it blew continuously during our two-day stay. The park looks new, even though it is five years old. Sites are huge, level back-ins, made of brick, with wide interior roads. Excellent quality 20/30/50 amp power. I didn't find a laundry in the park, and the nearest one is almost certainly miles away on the other side of the $4 toll bridge to Antioch. The bathrooms were modern, immaculate, tasteful individual suites, with showers. The road to the park is a mile or two of fairly narrow levee road, but any size rig can negotiate it. We got the "introductory rate" of $30. I assume that's because it was our first stay here (their posted rate is $40/day). We really enjoyed watching the windsurfers right across the road from the park and the kitesurfers about a mile down the road. Although the address is Rio Vista, it's really closer to Antioch.

We have been traveling for 5 weeks and this is, by far, the worst experience we have had. As our satellite dish is not working, we wanted to make sure we had cable. Unfortunately, the cable at Dakota Ridge is ghosty and snowy. The ad in Trailer Life and/or Woodal's indicates a view of mountains and city lights. When, in fact, it is located in an industrial area with the sounds of the 70 freeway and no view whatsoever! The sites are extremely tight for big rigs and sloped so egregiously that even our levelers won't help so, of course, our shower will not drain. We had booked our stay here for a week thinking it would be a nice hub to experience Colorado. As it is absolutely nothing as described in their ad after 3 days we inquired as to a refund if we left early. To our dismay there are no refunds!!! Once they get you in here, you're out of luck. Please, do not be swayed by the ad touting views and big rig friendly - they're not. After all the years of traveling in RVs this is the first time I have been compelled to write a review. Hopefully, my experience can save other travelers.

Extremely well maintained and they even had a fire engine for hay rides and a brand new children's park. We will definitely revisit this KOA in the future. Did not use the pool area because it was still a little too cool, so I cannot comment on that. We are looking forward to a return trip in October.

My husband and I absolutely loved this campground. Relatively small, extremely well cared for, bathrooms spotless, and staff were exceptional. They offer blueberry pancakes or waffles every morning (additional charge) that were outrageous.
We were there for 4 days. The site we were given evidently was a filled in drainage area as everything was soaked all the time with a small stream in the rear. No shade, one of the dump stations was clogged up, no activities to speak of, saw the tracks for the mini train they advertised but no train, no baby swings, no rubber matting under the swing sets, etc. etc. When we did leave and went to the one working dump station, there was no running water to clean off our hoses. We will never go back to this campground again. We were totally shocked that this was a KOA.

Stayed 2 nights with my family. The sites we stayed in were very narrow and long. Not a great combination considering you would typically setup your campsite next to your trailer and not in front or behind. We had about 4 feet of space between the edge of the extended awning and the next campsite, and I parked as far to the drivers side as I could. Small. Our site was typical of the 40 or so sites in the center of the campground. We were in site 107. The camp store was typical. The employees were nice and friendly which is the best thing we can say about our stay. The Men's bathrooms didn't smell very clean, though they looked clean. My wife said the women's room (by the park office) was disgusting. She was there just prior to the 11AM cleaning time. No sewer hookups, but thy did have a honey dipper service and a dump site neither of which we took advantage of. The dump site by the park office appeared to be on the crest of a hill which gave me cause for concern in emptying my tanks properly. The playground was old and needs updating and the miniature golf course was decent. There wasn't a miniature train as depicted on the web site. We didn't partake of any of the activities they had going. It is about 10 minutes to Bushkill Falls which is why we were there. So that was very nice. We probably would not stay there again for the price we paid. GPS directions had us about 1/2 mile short of the campground on the road leading to the campground so stick with it!

This campground is one of the best ever. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We were having truck problems, so they held our site for us for free for two extra days in case we needed to stay longer even though it was a deluxe patio site. There was also a mechanic living on site with his wife who was a traveling nurse, and the staff went a knocked on his door to see if he could look at our truck. He was friendly and told us it was something that could wait a little longer and even offered to work on it right there for us. The pool was nice. Our Deluxe patio site was awesome. The hookups were excellent. The cable was some of the best I have experienced while camping. It offered an extensive list of channels and had a flawless picture. The Wi-Fi was speedy, even in the back of the campground. I would rate this campground higher if I could. I would highly recommend staying here.

This is a well-kept campground very close to DC. it is easy to ride metro bus from the campground to the metro rail station in College park. it is also close enough to park at metro and ride metro rail into town. This is our second stay here, first was in 2002. Most of the sites are very small. We got a pull-thru site which was long, but still didn't offer much room. It was typically hot while we were there with temperatures in the mid 90s, so the pools were a welcome relief. The pools were beautiful and well maintained. There was a nice snack bar, TV room, store, and office. The office staff was very friendly and helpful. Site hookups were so-so. The 41 Channel DirecTV they offered was fuzzy, but did offer 5 HBO Channels. The Wi-Fi was extremely slow on our site as well. This campground also has great policies. If you don't like your site you can switch sites, and if for any reason you wanted to leave early they will refund your money, and not charge a processing fee. Overall, this is a well-maintained campground, and I would recommend it to anyone wishing to explore DC.

The sites in the wooded section were large and can accommodate big rigs, but the sites in open section are harder to get into and don't offer as much room. The pool is cold as it is not heated. The seasonals are terribly unfriendly. This campground is also very loud, especially at night, but security doesn't do anything about it. Our relatives heard a golf cart pull up to their site at night, and heard the people say "let's see if we can wake them up." I guess I'm used to the campgrounds in Myrtle Beach where everyone is friendly and respectful (including the seasonals) and everybody is very quiet by 11:00 P.M. Beach closes every time there is any waves. The office staff is extremely inexperienced, some of the worst I have ever seen. On arrival they don't even ask you if you have any of the discounts they offer. The park is doing what they can to eliminate the dumpy seasonals. Overall, this is a descent campground that offers a lot to do, but it is somewhat poorly run. Wi-Fi is now available in the courtyard only.

We loved this campground. We traveled with three other big rigs. The sites were not crowded. Two of us were riverside, the other two still had great views. We watched U.S. and Canadian ships go by as well as the local boat ramp traffic. We thoroughly enjoyed all of the activity and the very friendly people. The only reason I gave this a 9 and not a 10 is because there was no sewer and we did not have 50amp, although some sites did; I would not let this deter me of staying here again, I did not want to leave this time and would look forward to coming here again. We stayed 4 nights.

We really enjoyed this campground. We traveled with three other big rigs. In order for all of our rigs to have full hookups we were off the waterfront; however, we had a short walk to the water that had a wonderful view. Overall the park is very well kept. The sites we were on could have used some attention to the foliage. We stayed here three nights and would definitely stay here again.

Let's start with the pluses: great people to deal with, easy choice of sites, wonderful tenting areas, right on an arm of Lake Anna, staff quick to help and correct problems (just tell them the restroom is dirty and it's tended), well stocked camp store, great views and good water with mini-beach areas for swimming. We checked out the area before deciding to spend a weekend and are not sorry we did. Met great folks, had relaxing time, and enjoyed ourselves. Now for the minuses: few level sites for RVs, hookups shared with others, dump station on top of hill, road in to campground (and up to dump site) could be improved, some campers let dogs run and leave messes where ever, electric box had no breaker plus boxes were older and loose, a few folks were not observant of quiet hours. In summary, this is a rustic site with many seasonal/permanent trailers (at the back of the property) where they welcome you and you can relax. But do NOT expect state park level sites with well maintained hook-ups. If you are into tenting, this is DEFINITELY a place to consider. If you have a larger RV, you might want to look first. The pictures in the web site are excellent and very representative of what we experienced. We would go back on a non-holiday week or weekend to enjoy the people, the lake and the ambiance.

When we first got there the office decided to close early and we had to keep trying for security to get in. When he finally arrived, it was like we had bothered him, and was less then friendly during the check-in process. Equally, the staff in the office was not friendly either. It wasn't anything that was said, but rather there was not welcome feeling that we generally receive from other parks. The large pool, exercise room was slim for the number of sites. We would not recommend it at all.

Nice clean park with large sites and lots of space between each campsite. Campsites are somewhat level, and most didn't find it two hard to level out. People are friendly at the park, and it is close to the city for those who wish to venture in. The city is about 5 minutes away, and it has the amenities of a large city. The lake is generally only 7-11% of capacity (5200 acres is designated for the reservoir). There are not many shaded sites at the south shore entrance. Most of the shaded sites are at the north shore entrance, so if you go during the summer look at the north shore area. These two entrances are about 10 miles apart, and the drawback to north shore is no lake view, but then again; there isn't much of a lake to view. Overall, it is a nice country setting to relax in.

Beach resort campgrounds can be notoriously overcrowded, noisy and poorly maintained. Not so at Big Oaks in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Although every inch of space is utilized and your neighbors are very nearby, the wooded sites offer a feeling of privacy and are mostly well planned. Restrooms and showers are cleaned regularly and in excellent condition. My only criticism is that for the amount of people camping here, there should be a few more. Nice pool, game room, friendly helpful staff. The DART bus stops here every 1/2 hr. or so to take you to all beaches and boardwalk. Well worth the $2.25, ride all day fare since traffic and parking can be a mess near the beaches. Cape Henlopen State Park is a 1/2 mile down the road also. I will absolutely return.

This is an extremely well kept park with friendly management. Most of the sites are rented to seasonals and there is even a row of manufactured homes, again all well maintained. Sites are reasonably level gravel parking pads with concrete patios. Generous spacing between sites for a private campground. There is also a small pond for fishing or swimming. While the park does have some full hookup sites, just about everything left for short stays is water and electric only. I agree with an earlier comment about low water pressure but it was manageable. Restrooms and showers were clean when I checked. On Friday night there was some considerable road noise from Route 35, but the rest of the weekend it was barley noticeable so it might depend on the wind direction or just the day of the week. They don...t take credit cards here. Cash or personal check only. I suggest making a reservation if coming here for the weekend due to the limited number of empty spaces. A good base camp if you are in town to see Tecumseh or other local attractions.

We decided to try something new this time around after receiving the email invitation for the KOA stay one night get the other night free promotion. After looking through the KOA web site we found this location and noted the kid friendly environment portrayed on their web site. Having two kids (5 and 2) we thought this would be a perfect way to start the camping season this year. This campground is definitely kid friendly however it's not adult friendly.. at least not when it comes to the wallet. We were very disappointed to find that all the kid activities featured at this campground were an additional charge on top of the expensive nightly rate. (Thank goodness we got one night free). Each kid friendly activity had it's own individual charge or you could purchase an "all day" pass that would get you on all the activities as many times as you wanted during the day. The all day pass though was an additional $20 per kid. There are also age restrictions for the mechanical "bull" and jumping pillow so purchase of an all day pass was useless for us. The jumping pillow also wasn't regulated at the time we were there so at times there were dozens of kids jumping on it which would have proved hazardous to the littler kids. The kids did love the "train" though that roamed through the campground and rode it a couple of times ($1/person) and I even enjoyed it. The pool was also warm and clean and included a hot tub. The campground was also clean and well maintained. Staff was very friendly as well and quickly assisted when I had a small problem with the fire pit that's not worth mentioning. The mini golf .. well if you could call it that. I could have fit the course in my back yard. It was very very small and almost not worth playing. Before I forget though .. the playground is HUGE and is bigger than some community playgrounds I've been to. The kids loved it and so did we since it was free :) One of the best playgrounds we've ever seen in an RV park or even in our local housing community. I gave this campground an 7 because as an RV park it was very nice. However I think that the very high price per night should include at least the chance for the kids to try one or two of the activities once for free. The web site should also post the age restrictions on the activities. Probably will not come back here as I can get more value for my money elsewhere. It's cheaper in some cases to take the kids to the Santa Cruz Boardwalk and ride the rides there instead.

Park sites are not level and not very well maintained. Several hidden fees are thrown at you when you arrive. For daily and weekly stays a $3.00 a day resort fee is charged in addition to the $31.00 site charge. If you have not been in the Tucson area you will be surprised at a .50 cent a day Stadium Tax charged to all non-residence. I am still trying to figure out the additional $50.00 they charged on our bill. We did like the pool, exercise room and full-time residents, but for the fees we paid, I am not sure we got our money's worth.

Check out the Hula Show during the summer. Site was good, would be better if paved, but proximity to water was fantastic. Trading post was a little pricey, but overall a great selection. Staff was helpful and kind. Activity center had a wide variety to chose from.

This is an excellent park and we discovered it 4 years ago. It's been an annual trip since then as we attend the Thomas the Tank Engine days at Roaring Camp with our kids each year. As others have mentioned this campground can be full of kids as expected with the Thomas event every year. This is great for us as there are other kids and "young" families in the campground during this time of year. In talking with the few "permanent" residents many other times throughout the year the campground is quiet. Cotillion Gardens though is a great base camp for doing most everything in the area. If steam trains aren't something you're interested in then the Santa Cruz Boardwalk is only minutes to the south. Want to do some hiking? Head north for Big Basin State Park or just stay in the area and hike Henry Cowell State Park. Need groceries or other items? Downtown Scotts Valley is only minutes away as well however there is a large grocery store in Felton as well. Point being this is a great central location to explore the greater Santa Cruz area with lots of things to see and do. The campground is also clean with decent sized spaces. I would give this campground a 10 however the pool has been a little colder than expected on 2 of our 4 visits. Just a little cold for children however it's clean and everyone still has fun. Oh don't forget to check out the tree slide. A unique playground feature that my kids look forward to every year.

This campground is very close to Calavaras Big Trees State Park which is one of the reasons why we choose to stay here. After staying at the State Park with no hookups and small children that get really dirty it was time to find a full hookup location. This campground satisfied our needs and provided many other benefits that we hadn't counted on. As others have stated the area is beautiful and the grounds well maintained and clean. There were many "permanent" trailers there as well as seasonal rentals however all were well maintained and didn't prove to be eyesores at all. The manager Jason is very friendly and wandered through the area a couple times throughout our stay checking to make sure things were OK. The pool was a bonus for us and proved to be great for the kids. The water wasn't cold as we've found in many other campgrounds and was very enjoyable after a long day of hiking. Kids playground was well maintained and sufficient. Our kids found this to be one of their favorite things to do after walking the grounds. Couple things to note about this place though. (at least for us). We camped in a 26' travel trailer and a few sites are a bit hard to get into. Jason though noted this when assigning us a site and gave us a choice. This is by no means a reflection of the campground though but is more "par for the course" when camping in the Redwoods. Nothing a 12 point parking maneuver couldn't resolve. There are larger sites to accommodate larger rigs as was noted on a walk round the campground and only a few where there would be a challenge getting in. While I would like to give the park a 9 or 10 there was one thing that caused me to give a lower rating. We camped here in August during a weekend where temps hit > 90 degrees. When arriving on Friday the campground was not full and running the A/C wasn't a problem. However on Saturday after the campground filled up I noted a large drop in voltage. It was large enough to cause my Surge Guard to cut power to the trailer. (Surge Guard will cut off when voltage is below 102v). While others didn't have surge protection (from what I could tell) and were still running their A/C units I personally didn't want to remove the Surge Guard to run the A/C and risk causing permanent (hidden) damage to my unit. I monitored voltage all day and at times it dropped to 98v. It wasn't until the evening when voltage was up to about 105v. On Sunday when many had checked out the voltage was again up to 112v+ and A/C use was fine. (Voltage was measured with a Kill-A-Watt plugged into one of the outlets) If you're one like me that would rather not run your A/C in low voltage conditions then I would recommend camping here when it's a little cooler in the season. August is a traditionally hot month here. Other than that this was a great campground and we will definitely come back again.

Debbie and John were absolutely wonderful hosts. We had a couple of issues to do with my lack of familiarity with the rig that they both jumped in and helped with. They were constantly offering help wherever they could, they brought firewood to my site and even stacked it. When we had problems getting the wood to burn they helped there as well.
We were on our way to Niagra and stopped there overnight. It was so incredible that we cut our niagra vist short and went back there. The staff is very friendly. The most incredible thing is that they have an indoor pool. This was great as it can get a little chilly and we like to go swimming after dinner. This provided the perfect oppurtunity. We also stayed during the week and they had alot of activities for our 3 y.o. including the best yogi we have seen. We have stayed at 3 jellystones in the past year and this one was by far the best. My 3 y.o. loves yogi and yogi even pushed her on the swing. This is a very family oriented campground. We did not see any intoxicated people and everyone was super friendly. I highly reccomend this place and plan on visiting again.

It also helped that we had excellent weather the whole time we were there. It was expensive but worth it.

The park itself was nice. My site was horrible, my awning was almost hitting the guy next to me.The price was crazy,$45.00 would have been more reasonable. It was a last minute decision to see the falls, and they had 2 openings. Kids liked the pool, I liked that it was close enough to the falls. The store was nice, but they have a sales pitch for a falls tour one package price. After doing it on our own I would have been dissapointed with the price of that tour. If you have a smaller camping unit, there are nice sites towards the front.Just stay away from the highway side.

We arrived late at the campground after their quiet hour. We requested a campsite with full hookups. The roads in the campground appeared to be partially washed out by rain. The roads were rough and barely visible late at night. The campground is located on a steep hill and our campsite was very slanted. It was too late (after the quiet hour) to balance the trailer with multiple boards under the tires in the darkness. We were unable to use the full hookups because our trailer could not be balanced. The showers were located down a steep dark hill. Some of the staff did not report to work the next morning and the staff members present, were too busy to talk to us. We attempted to communicate with the campground management and the campground association, but they refused to listen to our complaints. Our trip was over 4000 miles, and this was our only bad experience.

This appears to have been a good park "back in the day". Unfortunately, that day was long ago. The park has been seriously neglected for a few years. The office and surrounding areas appear junky, fallen tree branches litter the sites, pool needs maintenance and trees are untrimmed. 30 amp maximum hookup. The lady that signed us in was very friendly. There are a mixture of shaded and open sites (quite narrow) and the Wi-Fi works well. Stay a night if it is in the right location for you, otherwise keep on going.

There are not very many, if any, other RV park selections along this section of I-5. As you would guess by the name, you park under Almond Trees. The owners were very nice. They led us to the site and helped get us situated straight so that their trees were not hit and that we were level. They have a BBQ every Saturday night of which we were fortunate enough to join. Unfortunately, the flies love this park. Keeping them off your food at a BBQ is not possible. Keeping them out of your RV is a challenge we lost several times. We will probably go back because of this parks location, but it's not a place we really want to see again.

This is not a destination RV Park. However, it's I-5 close with easy pull thru sites making it perfect for a one night stop over. The sewer connection can be confusing as they have two. The obvious one is sealed closed. Forget the wrench, it still won't open. The manager helped me locate the other one covered by three rocks. Manager stays in an RV, of which they provide the site number upon check-in. They sell propane. If you don't get full hook ups, a dumping station is available for use during hours posted for $10. This park was rather empty. We noticed a lot nicer parks, which appeared heavily populated, upon departing this park heading southbound. We'd like to try some of those next time. Nothing was wrong with this RV park. It just didn't have anything special that makes you want to return; especially if others nearby have more inviting activities (e.g. River).

This is a very nice park with easy access from I-5. Long driveway adjacent to cows. Beautiful fountain at entry. Check-in via a nice hotel style registration desk, with an attached souvenir store, and adjoining area for a continental breakfast. "Follow Me" Golf cart led us to spot. Our site was level. Freeway noise was low (although present). Quite! Lots of very large, new model, RVs were in the park during our stay. Newspaper left on our steps in morning. Breakfast was simple, but good. Hosts were friendly. We'll stay here again.

This campground is not very well maintained & is totally dry camping, although there is water available nearby. There are no restrooms other than pit toilets & they were not always very clean or well kept. The roads in the campground as well as leading to the campground are very rough dirt roads full of potholes. Really the only thing this campground has going for it is being right on the Kenai river with salmon fishing just steps away.

The park is a nice park, but just as we were preparing to depart some guy, we assume he is the manager, came to our site & began to tell us that we had stolen the site. He said that the rate that we were quoted (& paid) was wrong & that we should pay a different rate or he was going to call the police. He called us liars & thieves & treated us with no respect at all. We paid the Passport America rate, which was the rate that we were charged when we checked in & showed our card & we offered to show him the credit card receipt but he didn't want to hear anything about that. He never identified himself nor would he give us his name. He was extremely rude & because of this encounter & his total lack of professionalism I would never recommend this park to anyone.

This is a large RV/mobile home facility directly adjacent to I-15, though separated by a tall sound wall. Sites are very tight and there are a lot of full timers including many old rigs. Wifi worked OK, but at peak times the signal diminished significantly. Trees scattered around the site make it more park-like, and there is a pool which we don't take advantage of. We just stay here for overnights when passing through when we want hook-ups and wifi.

This is a good option for stays in Bozeman due to its location, only a 5-minute drive from active and quaint Main Street, downtown. Bozeman is a great little town, very artsy and outdoorsy. The hosts/owners were very friendly and set the tone for a very congenial campground. There appeared to be mostly long-term campers here and even some tenters. Sites are gravel and fairly tight, with sparse grass in between. The outer row where we stayed looks out over a field with the I-90 freeway beyond, although they placed everyone so that the view was to the interior instead. Freeway noise is a problem and did wake me up early. There is no cable TV, but several networks come in via antenna. The free wifi worked exceptionally well. I noted a lot of RV's at the nice WalMart Supercenter at the next exit to the west which would be a better bet for a late arrival/early departure, but this is the place to stay for exploring Bozeman.

One of my favorite campgrounds in a long time. If you come on a friday or weekend day it could be hard getting into with 40 foot plus. Sites are level. The sites used to be 50 x 50 but they cut them down so there not that big. It gets pretty tight on the weekends but its worth it for this campground. Our site was c11a which was very big. Not too much shade, but it had alot room..We had a 38 footer with 2 slides. The campground has great views of rolling hills and farm. Nice gameroom and store. Restrooms are ok...Clean toilets and sinks, but outdated doors, paint and things like that. The campground has a nice feel to it though. If you plan on going, I advise you to try and get site c11a. Its one of the bigger sites there. If going to the area...Come here! Can't wait to come back!

Wow, what a great campground. We stayed here for four nights while visiting Zion Natioanl Park. It looks great on their website, and the actual campground lives up to what you see there. The place is spotless clean. They have a maintanence crew that spends hours each day cleaning the park. Sites are level concrete pads, with gravel and concrete porch area outside your door and a small grassy area at your site that is watered nightly. There were some back in sites there weren't concrete, but they were still very nice with small gravel that wasn't dusty. The pool and spa were more than adequate and clean. A huge store that sells many essentials and has huge coolers for pop, beer, meat, dairy products ect at reasonable prices. The interior roads are all paved. The owners are RVers, and it shows that this park was designed by RVers for the enjoyment of RVers. All the staff working there went out of their way to make us feel at home. The only problem with this park is that there is only one of these, to bad there isn't a chain of these. If I could have rated it higher, I would.

A "ten," except for the unpaved interior roads. Your camping fee gives you the use of the pool and spa in the hotel associated with the RV park. Wi-fi at the hotel was usable; it was not available at the campsites. On the other hand, the staff could not have been more accomodating. We put in here unexpectedly after a hitch failure while crossing the Missouri River. The camp people helped us find the town welding expert to do the repairs, and were willing to sign for a package containing replacement parts. Lovely river side scene. Caveat: on weekends, the place fills up with people using ATVs and personal watercraft.

The kid at the front desk did not bother telling us that the water-and-electric site he assigned us is just barely big enough for our 32 foot TT with slide room. Thanks to our slide, the folks next door cannot use their campfire ring (it's nearly under our trailer), and on the passenger side, you will slam straight into the picnic shelter if you aren't careful exiting the trailer. The same kid also neglected to say they were charging an extra $2 for our dog; that the site did not have cable TV; and in spite of my asking for two nights' stay, he wrote up only one. With dozens of competing campgrounds in the Rapid City/Rushmore area, KOA should be offering better service.

Fairly outdated park with only a swimming pool for the kiddies. For our purposes--a layover while visiting the Badlands National Park--it was fine. The wi-fi signal at the trailer was consistent, although there were some problems SENDING (not receiving) email via Verizon.net. Wall Drug is a huge waste of time and money, and believe it or not, the best eating in town is probably the Dairy Queen. The National park, on the other hand, was superb.

A lot of dust, a lot of noisy kids, a lot of noisy ATVs. If you're not careful, you can trip over the doorstops for the shower/restrooms, because they are mounted right in the middle of the sidewalk. Pretty expensive for an overnight stay. Next time through Sioux Falls, we will stay elsewhere. If you have kids who are into that whole Yogi thing, it's probably heaven.

This park was very close to my work which is why I stayed there. The rate is based on the monthly rate of $430 for the site that I had. They have several different rates for their various sites. Most of the sites are in the sun and if you want shade you will have to scrounge a site from around the perimeter of the park. I say scrounge because most of the shady sites are occupied by long term residents. The lowest rates are for bare-bones sites that look like they were created out of a former parking lot. Even so, all the sites are well taken care of and the staff is very friendly. I thought the rates were on the expensive side compared to several of the other parks in the San Antonio area. One thing that is kind of nice is we were able to get the grand tour of San Antonio. You make reservations at the office and a shuttle bus will come and pick you up at the park, take you to tour S.A., and then bring you back at the end of the day. It was great not having to drive back after a long day of walking and seeing the sights.

Stayed here using C2C. Unless you are a member of park you won't get 50 amps and no sewer. The site we were assigned was so out of level we could level our motorhome even using blocks under rear wheel and jacks. We asked office to move and both sites they said we could move to were just as bad as the original. The others would have required navigating a narrow road with trees close to road a several tight turns that would have been difficult for a 40 foot MH. They also have placed a lot of large rocks close to the roads. Many rocks don't seem to be there for any other reason other than damaging RV's as many had paint on them from being hit.

Very nice park. Lots of trees and grass. Paved interior roads with grass sites. Like another reviewer said watch the bridge clearances carefully. Coming from Manhattan Island area use either Highway 9 or 9A. Although either road is mostly four lane, the outside lane will be a low as 10'1" but the inside lane will be 13'+. Also being from the west coast we were not aware of the restrictions on the Parkways being for cars only.
