The staff was friendly, but someone made a mistake on our reservation and listed us as a no show even though I had called well in advance to change our arrival date. I was told that the switch had been made and we were good to go. We were fortunate to find one site left when we did arrive but that was totally an accident because they had no record of our arrival. There is cable available in the park but it must be arranged in advance; however, we were able to pull lots of channels over the air with only our antenna. The Wi-Fi was so slow we couldn't use it and could only get online using our Verizon Hotspot. We did not use the showers or laundry so I can't comment on them. The best thing about this park is the rate. It was very reasonable for winter in Florida near the coast; although, it was not near the beaches. The sites are rather tight and the rigs are packed fairly close. The location is off a busy road. We were on site 138. It's on the end and it was easy for us to back-in our 32' RV but the road noise was noticeable and lasted late into the night and began early in the morning. The long term campers seemed to be enjoying the activities. The night we arrived, they were having a 'Prom Night' We would stay here again if we find places in less commercial areas are full.
I gave this park a 9 rating only because the location is far from the beaches. It is near to I-75 and that made it easy for us to get Sarasota without fighting the local traffic. This is a 55+ park. The people were friendly and there are lots of activities planned for those staying for the winter or year-round. Has a nice lake in the center where miniature boating is a fun pass-time. We didn't use the laundry (two on site) or showers. Wi-Fi and cable worked well for us. The rates here were much better than most for this time of year in this area. Most CG are full of snowbirds and it can be difficult to find a site. This CG has mostly permanent or wintering campers, so I'd suggest booking early.
This park is located well for a visit Disney Parks. I did not use the showers or restroom facilities, but I did check out the family bathroom. It was clean. The regular showers had only a shower with no mirrors or plugs. The laundry room has four washers and four dryers costing $1.75 per washer and $1.00 for dryers. It was in a rather small screened in area and wasn't air conditioned, but did have a ceiling fan. It got pretty hot inside while I was doing laundry. They do have a small exercise room, but it closes at 5:00. We like to work out after a day of exploring and it was impossible to utilize it during those hours. Saw many clothes hanging out to dry and heard barking dogs late into the night coming from a pop-up camper two sites down. The sites are very tight. We arrived after dark when the office was closed. We found our site but the park was full and maneuvering was very tight especially with large rigs and tow vehicles blocking turning room. The people were friendly and the Wi-Fi and cable worked well for us. This was a less expensive option than some other campgrounds in the area. Rates are higher than I would like but it's in a high demand area and if you want to be there you pay more. Our rate reflects the KOA discount.
The rate reflects Good Sam discount. This Park is located right downtown Cedar City. Very near shopping on historic Main Street. It's operated by the Best Western Hotel. Register at the hotel office. All facilities of the hotel are available for the RV park as well. Indoor and outdoor pool, exercise room etc. No showers or restrooms available as the sites are located beside the hotel. We intended to use the exercise room but didn't have time so I can't give a opinion on it. We did use the laundry, such as it was. There were two older washers and two dryers in a small room with no folding table or chairs to use as you wait. The washers cost $2.00 as did the dryers. We really needed to catch up on our laundry or we would have waited for better facilities. The staff was friendly and free donuts and coffee were available in the lobby. Hot breakfast was offer for $5 but the food was not replenished often and my husband gave up and left without eating. Sorry to say the Wi-Fi was not so good, but there was good Verizon service and our hotspot worked well. Cable was OK though some channels were a bit snowy. The sites were wide enough for larger rigs and we enjoyed the convenient location. Nice town and we'd stay here again if in the area.
The rate reflects the KOA discount. This park has a great location for visiting the sites around Salt lake. It also has a free shuttle to temple Square and friendly staff. Our site is a pull through with nice shade. It's a larger park with two sections. One with permanent residents. A car/RV wash is located at the entrance. One dollar for 2 minutes and 20 seconds, so you must work fast. The park has activities planned for most nights, and a small pool and laundry facilities which we didn't use, so I don't know the cost or condition. We Didn't use the showers either. The biggest negative with this park has to do with the major construction work going on at the entrance making it difficult to find and difficult to get into local businesses along the main artery to downtown. You are warned to use a pressure reducer for your water line as the pressure is 125 without it. The Wi-Fi is good and cable has 28 stations. Because of the location we would stay here again if in the area.
This park is very well located for sightseeing and shopping in Santa Fe. It is a 55+ park with permanent trailers in the back of the park. Very friendly and helpful staff. They backed us into our spot which has a concrete pad, picnic table and a nice shade tree. We paid extra for the premium lot. the 30 amp lots are smaller and rather tight. This is a Good Sam rate. We loved this park. The laundry cost only $1 per load. It's an older very well maintained park. Be aware that you must arrive by no later than 5:30 or you won't be accommodated. The Wi-Fi worked great and the cable was fine. We had planned on staying only two nights, but a wind advisory was given while we were in town and they graciously allowed us to stay another night even though we had already told them that we would be leaving and they could reserve our site for the next guest. We'd stay here again for sure.
This park is nicely located for seeing all the sites in Natchez, MS. It's just across the Mississippi river bridge on the LA side of the river. The park overlooks the river, but does require driving through an older rather rundown neighborhood to find the entrance. Some major construction work is taking place at the main entrance. It was a bit dusty. The staff was friendly and helpful. The laundry facilities were very nice and the machines looked new. The cost was $2.50 per load so we didn't use them. The bathrooms were individual, clean, and nice. The main complaint about this Park is the Wi-Fi. Even though we requested a site near the office for good signal, it was pretty much worthless. We were forced to use our Verizon hotspot. The cable had only 10 channels but the reception was fine. We would stay here again if in the area because of the convenient location.
This park is nicely located for seeing the sites and has very good free Wi-Fi and Cable TV. The restrooms were clean. It has a pool but we didn't use it. The price was reasonable and it reflects the Good Sam Rate. Our lot (22) was on a slight hill and it was a bit difficult to get it level. Other lots seemed more level. This CG isn't fancy, but it has all we needed for a two night stay.
