It is a great location if using he ferry system, however, sites were not level. If past 35' (we were) you had to occupy two sites and were charged an additional $5. One of the two shower facilities was and had been closed. The RV dump was in a very difficult location and most people were using a pull through site. Will avoid this site in the future.
Clean park, Showers and restrooms very clean. About 1.5km to city services. Wi-Fi available only in hotel/motel complexes. Staff were helpful in both camp and for tourism related info. Sandy beach on Long Lake, boat launch, handicap access toilets/showers, sani-dump.
Camp has potential, but not kept up. On a very steep slope of decline. Owner was friendly, but I think we interrupted his tv program. We stayed here only to have Elect for the night. Would use this again only for the same reason.
Mixed review on this park. We went to Wallace to ride our ATV's. Park had probably 15 rigs with ATV's but many complained that the park owner/operator never answered the phone. We had to wait for the 3rd day there to contact him and pay. I think his heart is no longer in the park. We will be back next year again and hope there are some changes. Were 400+ ATV's that weekend in town: Wallace really likes us.
We spent one night at this park. They were just installing wi-fi, but it was only available if you stood next to the cash register. We traveled in Canada/Alaska for 3.5 months this summer, and voted this park as "The Worst". While the sites were off the road, they were dirty, with glass and trash in the most of the fire rings. Trash cans in camp were full. Overall assessment was "Dirty". It did appear to have clean sites up by the road, but they were not for larger RV's.
