They offer on-line reservations (with a $5.00 booking fee) but the reliability is questionable. When we reserved our site, it was only available for two nights. After we stayed one night, the site was now available for a week. When we were looking for a site before booking the site at River Island, we checked the availability at Buckskin Mountain (about a mile closer to Parker). All of the FHU sites were reserved. After we arrived at River Island, we checked on availability at Buckskin Mountain again. The ranger told us there were 5 FHU sites available for three nights. After checking the 5 sites to see which one would work for us, we returned to the office to reserve a site. The ranger informed us that all of the 5 sites were no longer available. It took us about 10 minutes to check which site would work. So in 10 minutes, all 5 sites were booked on-line in the middle of the day. Very hard to believe. The park is along the main highway between Parker (about 12 miles North of Parker) & Lake Havasu City. It is close enough to go to either town for supplies. A little closer to Parker but Lake Havasu City seemed to be a better option. The interior roads and site pads are paved. Some of the turns at the end of the rows are very tight. There is a mixture of pull through and back in sites. Almost all of them are flat so it is easy to level. Only saw one site that needed some minor blocking for the RV to get level. There is a public boat launch & parking. They only have water & electric (50/30/20 amp) hook ups – No sewer! But there is a dump station for use on your way out near the exit. The two bays are short with a tight 90 degree turn to exit the park. The utility connections are about in the middle of the sites. Each site has an outside table on a concrete pad and an elevated BBQ. There is a lot of space between the sites. There are two common restroom/shower buildings located at opposite corners of the campground. During our stay, one of the buildings had lost its’ water heater so the 29 sites (the campground was almost full) had to share only 4 shower stalls. There was no anticipated replacement date. As a result of the demand, the showers were not very clean – hair, debris and mud were on the floor and the water wasn’t very hot. It was best described as warm. It’s safe to say that almost all of the sites offer a view of the southern sky with few obstructions so you should get good satellite reception. They even posted the setting for the satellite carriers. Our Verizon Hotspot Wi-Fi device didn’t work! Remember the park is only 12 miles from Parker. Cell phone reception was poor at best. There is a fenced pet area which is dirt. No waste collection bag stations or tools. There is a dumpster close to the area to dispose of waste. Some folks didn’t clean up after their pet. Not much area to walk dogs outside of the pet area due to the size of the campground and the number of campers with dogs. There weren’t any paths or trails to walk. There was a high pitch mechanical whine sound from the nearby service area. It could be annoying if you’re sensitive to that type of sound. The staff was friendly and helpful. We could hear the wild burros at night that were across the river. If we ever had to return to this area again, we would not stay here.

We stayed here for 1 night on our way to Phoenix. Although the park isn't located on the Interstate, which complicates access, the traffic noise could be heard all night. The interior roads and site pads are paved but narrow and short. Some of the turns are very tight due to the width of the roads and the length of the sites. There is a mixture of pull through and back in sites. The back-ins are called Standard. They appeared to be most occupied by long term or permanent residents. There were some lot models in the standard spaces. A lot of clutter around the long term/permanent residents sites. The pull throughs are split into two types: Deluxe and Premium. The Deluxe are cheaper. Didn't see much difference between them. The Premium sites seem to have fewer trees between them. There was some tree encroachment in the Deluxe sites. The site length is short as we had to unhook our toad to fit into the space (just like everyone else). Almost all of them are flat so it is easy to level. There was really no place to park to hook and unhook the toad vehicles. They have FHU (water, sewer & electric - 50/30/20 AMP)but no cable. Didn't see any phone connection. They do have an interesting marketing scheme. There is a $3.00 per day electric fee so the daily fee doesn't include electric. This approach must make their daily fee look more appealing. Not sure if the electric fee is subject to tax. The utility connections are about in the middle to the end of the sites. You are required to elevate your sewer hose off the ground so be sure to have something to do that with. Each site has an outside table on a concrete pad and an elevated BBQ. There is not a lot of space between the sites. It’s safe to say that almost all of the sites offer a view of the southern sky with few obstructions so you should get good satellite reception. They do provide a list of 9 broadcast stations. Since they don’t offer complimentary Wi-Fi, our Verzion Hotspot Wi-Fi device worked excellently! They do claim to offer a “free modem access” as an amenity. Don’t know where the modem is located. There is a pay Wi-Fi internet service (Tengo) available in the park. The park is only 12 miles from Parker. Don’t know about the cell phone reception but based upon the Verzion Hotspot Wi-Fi device it should be good. There are a couple of fenced pet areas which are gravel. They do provide waste collection tools. Although they have a leash rule, some of the residents didn't adhere to it. There are dumpsters around the park to dispose of waste if you’re walking your dog on the interior roads. Not much area to walk dogs outside of the park as the adjacent roads are somewhat rural without shoulders or sidewalks. There are common restroom/shower buildings located around the park. Access is by key. There didn't seem to be a deposit for the key. There was some debris on the floor and the toilet rocked a little but they appeared in good shape for the age of the park facilities. We didn't use the pool, hot tub, laundry room or exercise room. The exercise room is located in a basement without any outside light. Didn't see a television to use while using the treadmill. The staff was friendly and helpful. If we ever had to return to this area again, we would not stay here.

We stayed here for 2 nights to visit the Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument. The park is along the main road into town. Be careful as there is another park immediately north of this one. There were a lot of other MH's in the park. The prime season hadn't started so reservations weren't necessary but the owner said they fill up during the prime season. The interior roads and site pads are gravel. All of the sites are back in. They are flat so it is easy to level. They have full hook ups with water, electricity (50 AMP), and sewer. They also have connections for cable & telephone. All of the utility connections are at the rear of the sites so you might need some long hoses/cords to reach the connections. No outside tables but you get a small concrete pad. It’s safe to say that almost all of the sites offer a view of the southern sky with few obstructions so you should get good satellite reception. The park’s Wi-Fi was very good. The pet area consisted of an old drive-in movie theater. It is best described as primitive. There isn't anywhere else to walk the dogs. The only road is the main road with little or no shoulder and definitely no sidewalks. We didn't use the restrooms/showers, recreation room or laundry. No pool or hot tub. The owners were friendly and attentive. They don’t accept credit cards. They do accept cash and checks. If we ever had to return to this area again, we would stay here.

The park is near I-17 and 101, with fairly easy access. There was shopping within about 5 miles of the park. The park’s staff was only informative about the park’s services: the free Wi-F\i being in the lobby and library; the available over the air television channels and availability of internet connection at your site for a fee. There was no mention of garbage collection. At first glance the park appears old and tired. The majority of the units appear to be long term/full time residences. They seem to have been manufactured in the 1980’s and 1990’s. There appeared to be only one that might have been manufactured in the 2000’s. The park is divided into two different sections. One for people with dogs and the other for people without dogs. There are two different types of sites. The majority of the sites are back-in. There are few pull throughs that are in the middle of the park, right on the main entrance road. The pull throughs are gravel with a crest so there is a slope to the front and back from the center high point. The back-ins seem to have a minor slope as well (mostly front to back). The interior road is paved. The pull throughs offer a good view of the southern sky for satellite reception as the pull through sites are on an island with roads on both sides so there are no obstructions. The back-ins might pose more of a problem to get a clear view of the southern sky depending on the adjoining neighbor. They have full hook ups: water, electricity (50/30/20 AMP), and sewer. There is no cable TV. The pull though sites have an outside bench and a small concrete patio. There is no outside table. The sites are gravel. Not much space between the sites. There was garbage collection at your site twice a week. Other than that, the common dumpster was located next to one of the fenced pet area. There was a fenced pet area with scooping utensils for clean up on each side of the dog half of the park. There were sufficient paved roads in the dog half of the park to walk the dogs. We only used the park’s free internet connection since the only access was in the main building. There is both a Cat5 and Wi-Fi connection in the main building. The pull through sites are fairly close to the main building. It just wasn’t convenient to pack up the laptop and head over to the main building. We didn’t use the indoor pool, hot tub, restrooms/showers or laundry room. All of these are located in the same building in the center of the park. We would only stay here again if we needed to be on this end of town for no more than a week.

The park is easy to get to & from Interstate 84. The park was quiet, but there weren’t a lot of campers since it was the off season. The interior roads and sites are paved. The road in the main loop is narrow. The pull through sites are on the outside of the main loop. There are only a few that are level & long enough to accommodate the combined unit (#2). The back in sites are on the inside of the main loop. They would be difficult to get into & out of due the angle & narrow road. They have full hook ups – water, electricity (50 AMP), & sewer. They all had a campfire ring and outside table. Not much privacy between the sites. The main loop is shaded with trees everywhere. The trees encroach on some of the sites & portion of the road. Opening slides was easy in the site without tree encroachment. Some sites offer a view of the southern sky to get satellite reception. Verizon internet reception was good. No designated pet area. There were sufficient paved roads & paths to walk the dogs. There were bag dispensers around the park to pick up waste. Geese adopted the area so there was fecal matter around the grass & walkways. The park is satisfactory for a short stay while traveling along I-84 but only in a few sites. We would stay here again if traveling through the area.

We stayed here for a night. The park is easy to get to and from Interstate 90. It is located between the Interstate and a railroad track that was in current use. On the other two sides was an auto repair business and car dealership. The park was rather noisy due to its location. The interior roads and sites are gravel. The roads were narrow. The pull through sites were not long enough for larger coaches with their toads attached. We barely fit into the site with our combination. Another coach came in later and was parked next to us encroaching on our exit. The sites were generally level. Not much privacy between the sites. The sites are set up to share the common area between them. Sites have full hookups, water, electricity (50 AMP), and multiple sewer connections. Sites had an outside table. Part of the park is covered with trees and another portion is open to the sky. The trees encroach on some of the sites and a portion of the road. Opening slides was easy in a site without tree encroachment. Some sites offer a view of the southern sky to get satellite reception. Wi-Fi reception was good. There seem to be a lot of long term residents. Some left their dogs tied outside of their units. The designated pet area was along the outside edge of the park. The area was not fenced. There wasn't sufficient area to walk the dogs. There were bag dispensers around the park for pet waste. The trash cans were full so it took several tries to find one empty enough to hold the garbage. After it rained, there were standing pools of water along the gravel roads. We didn't use the restrooms/showers/laundry room. The only thing that made our stay tolerable were the owners who were very polite and helpful. They were working in the park until dark raking leaves.

We stayed here for a night. The park is easy to get to and from I-84. The park was quiet; there weren't a lot of campers since it was the off season. The interior roads and sites are paved. The road in the main loop is narrow due to bushes encroaching. The majority of the pull through sites are on the inside of the main loop. There were two located along the closed loop. There are only a few that are level (74, 77, 55, 120, & 80). The back in sites are on the outside of the main loop. They would be difficult to get into and out of due the angle and narrow road. Sites only have water & electricity (50A), no sewer hook ups. They all had a campfire ring and outside table. Not much privacy between the sites. The main loop is shaded with trees everywhere. The trees encroach on the road and sites. Opening slides could be difficult. Some sites (previously identified) offer a view of the southern sky to get satellite reception. Verizon internet was weak and it was really slow. There is a fenced pet area. It was a grass area located down in the day use area at the other end of the park from the campground. It had containers for waste disposal. The geese had adopted the area. There were paths along the river for walking the dogs. We didn't use the showers or laundry room. The park is satisfactory for a short stay while traveling along I-84 but we recommend only those sites previously identified.

We stayed here for a night in a 40’ class MH with a toad. The park is easy to get to & from Interstate 84. The park was quiet but there weren’t a lot of campers since it was the off season. The interior road and sites are gravel. Most of the park is fairly level. Not much privacy between the sites. Pretty close to being an open parking lot with just a few trees in the park. We were able to leave our toad hooked up in the site. They have full hook ups – water, electricity (50 AMP), & sewer. The sites had a campfire ring and outside table. Opening slides was easy as there isn’t much to interfere. Park’s WiFi was adequate for the night. Most, if not all sites offer a view of the southern sky to get satellite reception. No designated/fenced pet area. There were sufficient area (roads & paths) to walk the dogs. There were no bag dispensers in the park. We didn’t use the restrooms/showers or laundry room.

We stayed here for 2 nights in a 40’ class MH with a toad. We were planning on going to City of Rock National Park. But the visitor center was closed on the weekends so we didn’t get there. The park is easy to get to & from Interstate 84. The park was quiet but there weren’t a lot of campers since it was the off season. The interior roads and sites are gravel. The road in the main loop is narrow. The pull through sites are on the outside of the main loop. There are only a few that are level & long enough to accommodate the combined unit (#2). Park WiFi reception was good. No designated/fenced pet area. There were bag dispensers around the park to pick up waste. There were sufficient grassy areas & gravel roads to walk the dogs. Nice walk along the nearby river. We didn’t use the restroom/showers but the laundry room was adequate. However, it was a long walk to the building as it was not centrally located in the park. The park is satisfactory for a short stay while traveling along I-84.

We stayed here for 2 nights to visit the nearby Bryce Canyon NP.. The park is along Hwy 12 at the intersection with Red Rock Rd on the West side of town. Town doesn’t offer much. The park staff was very informative as to where to obtain services – in the next small town (Tropic) about 5 miles away. It was a short drive, less than about 20 miles, to Bryce Canyon. The park has two different sections. The first part is pretty flat so the sites are level. The back portion is built on a slope so the sites are angled to the access road. The interior road is gravel. The back in sites are along the outside of the park. The pull through sites are in the middle of the park. Most all of the sites offer a view of the southern sky to get good satellite reception. They have full hook ups – water, electricity (50 AMP), & sewer. The sites had an outside table and fire pit. The sites are gravel with grass between the sites. Not much space between the sites. The park’s Wi-Fi was good. There was a fenced pet area with bag dispensers. But there were sufficient gravel roads and grassy areas to walk the dogs. We didn’t use the laundry room. The pool was closed for the season. The front portion of the park was nice. Wouldn’t want to stay in the back portion due to the site arrangement. We were quite surprised at the overall experience as we don’t normally like KOA’s. We would stay here again if in the area, but only in the front portion.

We stayed here for 1 night in a 40’ class MH with a toad to visit the nearby National Park (Capital Reef NP). The park is at the intersection of HWYs 12 & 24, just east of town. It was a short drive (less than about 20 miles) to Capital Reef. The park is built on a slope so a lot of the sites are not flat or level. Some of the sites required quite a bit of blocking to get level. The interior road is gravel. The back in sites are along the outside of the park. The pull throughs are in the middle of the park. Most all of the sites offer a view of the southern sky to get good satellite reception. They have full hook ups – water, electricity (50 amp), & sewer. The sites had an outside table. The sites are gravel with grass between the sites. Not much space between the sites. The park’s Wi-Fi was good. There wasn’t designated/fenced pet area. But there were sufficient gravel roads and grassy areas to walk the dogs. There were bag dispensers around the park to pick up waste but there were empty. It was nice little park. There was pasture land adjacent to the park where there was livestock (horses & sheep). We would stay here again if ever in the area.

We stayed here for 4 nights. We have never really liked KOA’s but there wasn’t much else available. A lot of the other parks in the area didn’t have clear view of the southern sky for satellite reception – mainly due to trees. Guess they are trying to beat the summer heat. But it doesn’t work well when the temperatures cool off. The park is right along the main highway several miles south of town. The park is built on a slope so a lot of the sites are not flat or level. They charged different rates depending on the day of the week. They provided an escort to the site. The interior roads are narrow, windy and gravel. There were just a few pull through sites that offer a view of the southern sky to get good satellite reception. They have full hook ups – water, electricity (50 AMP), & sewer. The sites had an outside table. The sites are sand – no gravel or concrete. Pretty much Zero privacy between the sites. Our site (#63) had a power pole with a junction box attached on the passenger side and overhead wires running over it. The pole was located so that we almost ran into it when we stepped out of our coach. The outside table was right next to the power pole. The park’s WiFi was good. There wasn’t a fenced pet area. There was a designated pet area but it was a field next to the park. Other pet owners didn’t clean up after their pets in this area. There were sufficient gravel roads to walk the dogs but a lot of the other guests didn’t follow the leash requirement. There were no bag dispensers around the park to pick up waste. We didn’t use the restrooms/showers, laundry room or game room. The pool was closed for the season.

We stayed here for 4 nights to visit the nearby National Parks. The Grand Canyon North Rim and St George, UT are all within an easy day drive (a couple of hours in one direction). The park is centrally located in town along one of the major streets (HWY 89 ALT). The park is built on flat ground so the sites are pretty level. The interior road is gravel. Almost all of the sites are back in along the outside of the park. There are a few pull throughs that face the street. Not all of the sites offer a view of the southern sky due to trees. Our site had good satellite reception. They have full hook ups – water, electricity (50 AMP), & sewer. The sites had an outside table. The sites are gravel. There was some space between the sites. The park’s Wi-Fi was good. There was fenced pet area with bag dispensers to pick up waste in the pet area. There were sufficient gravel roads in the park and the adjacent city streets to walk the dogs. There were common areas with covered patio furniture to enjoy the good weather. Didn’t seem to be a lot of long term/extended stay folks. We didn’t use the restrooms/showers. The pool was closed for the winter. It was nice little park. It was convenient to services. The staff was multilingual. We would stay here again if ever in the area.

We stayed here for 2 weeks to visit the nearby National Parks and other attractions on our way to Phoenix. The park is connected with the nearby Cliff Castle Casino which is operated by the Yavapai-Apache Nation. There is a free shuttle between the park and casino. The park is easily accessed from Interstate 17 but you have to negotiate a small traffic circle if you’re traveling north. The park claims they have “level, concrete pads” but the park was built on a slope so a lot of the sites are not flat or level. This is clearly obvious when you see RV’s blocked up as high as 4 to 6” trying to get level. Some of the sites have two different pitches/slopes on the site. There is a mixture of back in and pull through sites. There seems to be more back ins than pull through sites. The basic sites are primarily smaller, back ins located towards the middle of the park. The larger, wider sites are pull ins-back out sites along the perimeter or pull throughs. Some of those required quite a bit of blocking to get level. The interior roads are paved and the site pads are concrete. There are a couple of tight corners to negotiate but they escort you to your site and assist with backing in. Most all of the sites offer a view of the southern sky with few obstructions to get good satellite reception. Some RV’s in the adjacent sites could obstruct the view of the southern sky interfering with reception as there isn’t much room between the sites. They have full hook ups – water, electricity (50 AMP), & sewer. They also have connections for cable and phone. It appears only the higher priced sites have an outside table. The outdoor area is gravel with some grass around the higher priced sites. The park’s Wi-Fi was intermittent at best. There were times when we only received one or two bars for reception. They limit usage to one computer per site and also your usage (the system would prevent large downloads). We primarily used our Verizon hotspot device and the reception was good. There is a fenced pet area with bag dispensers behind the office building/club house. There was a large area adjacent to the park to walk/run larger dogs. There was sufficient paved roads in the park to walk the dogs but there were no garbage containers throughout the park to dispose of pet waste. We didn’t use the restrooms/showers. They were only accessible when the office building/club house is open because they are controlled by keyed entry. We did use the laundry facility. The machines only take a debt type card which you can get from the office. Some of the machines didn’t work well accepting the card. There were many comments about how people preferred the coin operated machines. The pool and hot tub are out door connected to the office building/club house. The pool is open the same hours as the office building/club house. It was nice park. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Daily site side garbage pickup. There wasn’t much around the park as it is on the edge of town in a rural setting. We would stay here again if ever in the area because we like parks connected to casinos.

We stayed here for 5 nights to visit the several nearby National Parks, and other attractions. There isn’t much to choose from in Page. The only other option is the RV park out at Lake Powell. The park is along a main road in town with easy access to the highway. The park is centrally located to the other services & shopping in town. The park was built on a slope so a lot of the sites are not flat or level. So some sites require a lot of blocking to get level. It seems that the flatter, leveler spots are used by the long term/extended stay residents which there appears to be a lot. The interior roads are paved and the sites are gravel/sand. There is a mixture of back ins, pull through, and tent sites. Many of the sites offer a good view of the southern sky with few obstructions to get good satellite reception. They have full hook ups – water, electricity (50 AMP), & sewer. Cable is an extra fee. The sites had an outside table. Pretty much Zero privacy between the sites. The park’s Wi-Fi was excellent especially with the number of folks in the park. There wasn’t a fenced pet area. There were designated pet areas along the outer edge of the park; each with bag dispensers to pick up waste. The pet areas were covered with large pebbles making it difficult for the dogs to walk and clean up after them. There were sufficient roads and a trail to walk the dogs. We did use the exercise room which was adequately stocked with equipment & a television. We didn’t use the indoor pool or hot tub but they were centrally located in the park. We would stay here again if in the area.

Sites are narrow with large rocks lining each side to protect the utility hook ups. The utility hook ups are spread along the length of the site. Sewer is in the front so you'll need a lot of hose to reach the fitting. They charge a pet fee of $5 per pet but provide nothing for the fee: no fenced pet are and no waste collection bags. The site fee was $45 but the pet fee brought the total up to the $56. The pet fee is also charged a tax. Wi-Fi is dependent upon the number of people using it. When we were here, there were only three or four other RV'ers, so connection speed was adequate. Trains run in the canyon just across the river from the park but they are moving slow so their noise wasn't very loud. The park can charge whatever they want as there isn't any competition in the area. They call themselves a "resort" so they charge accordingly. We only stayed here because we needed to do something in the area. Wouldn't stay here again.
