Park is very nice. This is the first time we stayed here. Staff is very helpful and they have a nice gift shop-although very sparse RV supplies. Restrooms and showers are spotless as is laundry room. We would stay here again.
While it looks nice upon entering this is a crowded place with what appears to be mostly full time residents. Sites are gravel/grass and water hookups are below ground. While staff is helpful and bathrooms are clean, it's not a very nice campground. We would not stay here again and can't figure out why Woodall's rates it so highly.
This is a very nice park overall. All pads are concrete and hookup is very easy. One of the things that is good is that there are 2 sewer hookups at each of the pull thrus so we don't have to unhook our tow car. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful. There is a restaurant on site which offers takeout which is convenient and food was good. The park itself is rather sparse-few trees and right next to a railroad trestle which can be noisy.
A very nice park with an excellent staff. Stayed here overnight on the way home and was pleasantly surprised at how nice it is. Would stay here again as it is very quiet and peaceful although there were a lot of families with young children. Space assigned was level. Very nice store, well stocked. They seem to have a lot of activities for families.
I was surprised at this campground in that it overlooks a couple of factories, has no Wi-Fi access and could not even get TV reception. Staff was curt and unfriendly. Site we had for our motorhome was level and shaded but many of the other sites were uneven-would be hard to level. Would not stay here again unless I had no other option.
This is a very nice KOA. The staff is helpful and they have a well stocked store. While they tend to concentrate on kids and family, it's an excellent place to stay. Get one of the deluxe pull throughs if available.
Park is very clean and has a view of the mountains. Restrooms/showers were spotless. Check in was easy and efficient. We camped here for one night. We don't know why it is so highly rated by Woodalls. It's basically a gravel parking spot, and we would not recommend for anything but overnight. Very few trees and/or grass and what grass they have they do not allow dogs on.
Holiday in North Platte is a nice campground. Biggest complaint is road noise from I-80. Bathrooms and showers are clean but need updating. Well stocked store, helpful staff. It is a good place to stop if you are just doing an overnight
We stayed here on May 11, 2010. My wife and I both agreed that it is one of the nicest campgrounds we have ever stayed in. They have a nice gift shop and well stocked pantry for items needed. Staff was very nice and helpful. One of the things we liked best was that all utility hookups were in the same area so did not have to unhook towed car at all. We will stay here again
