We camped here because it was close to Camp Lejuene. We went with friends who were visiting their Grandson. It was an OK place, very tiny store, not much available. Sites were tight. Looked like most of the people live here and weren't on a camping trip. All in all not a bad place, just different then most of the places we go.
I spent several months at this campground while working in the DC area. The staff is amazing,so helpful. I had trouble getting my awning out and the staff saw me and came right over to help. The restrooms are very clean and they have one in the front that is very new. I don't have kids but i saw a lot of kids here for the campgrounds Halloween. This place was packed two weekends in a row. It looked like a lot of fun. I can tell the Duncan family puts a lot of pride into their work. The roads are well maintained, not paved but okay. The site was big enough, the electric boxes look like they have had some repairs recently. All in all I would highly recommend this campground to anyone working in the area or to families that want to have a nice family camping spot.
