This is a great park. There are level concrete spots, with frequent shuttles to the casino. There is trash pick up at every site. It is a short drive up to Memphis to get to the attractions. The only complaint is that the Wi-Fi is $12/day. We spent an hour on the phone with the Wi-Fi company getting it to work.
Perfect park for passing through. We didn't need to unhook and just walked to the casino for dinner. The check-in was complicated. We were told to pull up front to go to register, but there wasn't any place to park. No amenities, but we didn't need any. We would stay here again.
Price reflects monthly rate. Beautiful park, very dog friendly. The Wi-Fi was terrible, but they were working on improving it when we left. We were dissatisfied with the activities for the winter folks. Not enough to do to warrant spending another winter in Johnny's. Such a beautiful clubhouse that was very under-utilized. The park needs an activity director. The pool was beautiful, but not heated so we didn't use it all winter.
Gravel roads with very uneven spots. The park is full of workers or people/families living in the park. No one was in the office, but we were pleasantly surprised to find the Good Sam rate posted with the envelopes to put payment through the door. Wi-Fi worked great! Very few spots are available for transients which is a shame, because the park is in a perfect location.
Great campground. We stopped for one night as we were just passing through. We had a long, level spot so we didn't need to unhook. No sewer, but a great dump station on the way out. Office personnel were very helpful all three times I had called. No Wi-Fi, but good local TV selection. A shuttle can take you to the casino, but we chose to walk since it was so close. We will definitely stay here again.
Great campground. We were there for a rally. The office people couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. Wi-Fi and AT&T cell service were both great. No laundry facilities on-site, but the one in town was only a mile away.
Very large, spread out park. We paid for Internet and had numerous problems. There are NO trash cans in the park. You must drive or walk the mile to the front of the park to get rid of trash - and that includes pet droppings. Not really a pet friendly park - they are not allowed on the grass, signs everywhere tell you to keep pets on the roadways. A bicycle is a must to get around, unfortunately we didn't have ours. The overpriced $34/night includes the $2/night for worthless Wi-Fi and 3 TV stations. Office help very friendly, AT&T phones worked fabulous. Better signage in the park would be helpful. We got lost just walking to dump the trash.
Great office help, great location - 3 blocks off the beach. The showers and bathrooms appeared to be cleaned only once a week which is unacceptable in a full park. No grass, and dogs get burrs in their paws while being walked. We would stay again because of the location, but the park needs some attention. Wi-Fi and cable TV worked great.
The roads are filled with potholes and lots of standing water. Gravel sites uneven. Wi-fi works about 10% of the time, but the new cable TV is fabulous. Live entertainment was good and the office people were very friendly and helpful. Since the park is always full, I guess the owners feel no need to upgrade anything.
OK park as we were just passing through. Sites are all gravel, but ours was not level. The park had lots of full-time people living here, but more than adequate empty sites for one-nighters. The price was too high. The Wifi works great.
Beautiful park, level concrete sites. The park was basically empty, so it didn't matter to us that the sites are VERY close together. Upon check-in we were told to just park our truck in any vacant site that doesn't have cones on it. We discovered why since there's no room for a vehicle and the RV. The laundry room was very nice, but way too expensive. It costs me $14 to wash and dry 3 average-sized loads.
Nice park to go and float the area rivers. Owners and all employees were extremely friendly. All spots are on grass and we had 50 amp service. We had rain for an hour on two separate days which made getting out of our spot next to impossible. After a half hour of trying and putting down boards, we got out but left deep ruts. There is no cell service, WiFi, or TV in the park.
Small park with level, gravel sites. The owner was extremely friendly and went out of his way to welcome us. A perfect spot for one night while passing through. Far enough off the highway that you don't hear anything. We will definitely stay again. No WiFi or cable TV, but you get lots of digital channels from nearby Springfield.
Great new park. Restrooms and showers were spotless. Has hookups on both sides of the very large, concrete pull-throughs. Our spot wasn't very level so we had to unhook. There are lots of level sites, but we wanted one next to the restrooms. A shuttle took us to the casino. Would definitely stay here again when passing through.
Great park with concrete pads and picnic tables; very good Wi-Fi and cable TV. The park had a mix of full timers, workers, but mostly winter Texans. The owners and work campers were all very friendly. We would definitely return.
A great place to stop off for the night. Immaculate restrooms and showers. Very friendly owner. Level concrete site. Within walking distance of restaurants so you don't have to unhook for the night. We will definitely stay here again.
We were passing through and stopped for one night. The park was 90% full of workers. Nice long concrete pad. Streets within the park were very narrow and lots of broken up concrete and potholes. Most vehicles were parked in the roadways as the pads weren't long enough for both the RV and truck. Office personnel were extremely helpful.
Nice park right across the street from the Gulf of Mexico. Full hookups but no wi-fi. Great shuttle to the casino. The website gave incorrect directions so we had to stop and ask directions along the way. Nice wide spots on concrete with a great view.
This is one of our favorite campgrounds we have ever stayed in. The staff is always extremely friendly. The Wi-Fi works great. We had a spot in the rear of the park with very long concrete pads with a great view. The pool was wonderful. Picnic tables at every site.
This was a great park run by extremely friendly and helpful employees. Great location near all the casinos and golf courses. Wi-Fi was free and worked perfect. Most sites are grass but we stayed on a gravel site near the road as it had a view of the Gulf of Mexico. We will definitely stay here again.
This fairly new park has the cleanest showers and restrooms anywhere in the country! The owner and camp host were both extremely nice and helpful. We didn't like the sand roads or sandy spots. Several spots have concrete, ours did not.
This is a beautiful park with very large sites; however, there are several major problems with it. First, the office employees couldn’t be more unfriendly, unhelpful, or rude if they tried. The blame for everything wrong with the park is placed on the main Morgan office in NY. The heater in the pool is turned off when the temperature gets below 50, even though the daytime temps are in the 80s. This means it takes two days to get warm after turning off. The tiles on the pool are crumbling off; it’s a wonder the health department hasn’t shut it down totally. The second problem with this park is the few fanatic RVers who are dog haters. These people have VERY tacky signs posted on their sites to keep dogs away. These people do not own the land – the park does. They scream at dog owners walking by with their dogs, even though they are just walking. It seems to me these problem RVers should be asked to leave instead of making the other 99.9 percent of the park miserable. Again, management does nothing. Another problem with this park is the location. It’s 20 miles to the nearest grocery store/Wal-Mart/restaurant. The Wi-Fi that we must pay for is very intermittent and the Cable TV is horrendous. We stayed for six months but will not return.
