This is a great state park and is sooo quiet and peaceful. The town of Arrow Rock has a lot of historical significance and the entire town is a historical landmark. The campground is maintained extremely well and has newer shower house and restrooms. They have a great tent area, lots of grass. Some of the campsites are a little "off level" but none are such that make it uncomfortable. About 12 miles north of I-70. The park has an onsite work camper that is very helpful.
Very convenient campground and is directly across from Graceland. The campsites were level and green grass between the sites. They have 24/7 security and felt very safe during our visit. The staff was extremely helpful and answered all of our travel related questions. Would stay here again in a heart beat!
This is a great campground and is still close to the highway (1.5 miles) but unlike a lot of KOA's, there is no traffic noise! It's in a rural setting and the restrooms were extremely clean. The new owners are putting a lot of money into the park and are very friendly and helpful. We will be camping here during the John Wayne/Bridges of Madison County festival and looking forward to another great visit.
