This is just a parking lot with electric and water hook up (they have a dump station). However, you can not get any closer to NY. Just a ferry boat ride {right across from the park} or walk 5 blocks to the subway. TIP - if you stay at one of the RV parks that are about an hour away from NY, you will have to pay each time you get on one of their toll roads, bridge fees or tunnel fees. Add to that the cost of gas to and from that RV park for 4 or 5 days and what you pay to stay in this park is well worth it. Especially if you have a pet dog that you don't want to leave at home all day long. We left the park at noon and came back by 5 many days and our dog was just fine.
As with most folks that have posted, this is a great park if you want to be close to downtown Savannah and the surrounding sights. They just put in some new sites, 50 amp pull throughs and 2 of them are "buddy sites" if you want to park right next to each other and share the middle ground. We just want to come back to our RV and go to sleep and then go see things each day. Here for a week and for us, this is a great park.
