This park is small and pretty. The staff were extremely nice. However, we got major scratches on our motor home when we drove out! The Blue Spruce trees were huge, and the road was not wide enough to make a proper turn to avoid the branches (for our 40' rig). If you have a large motorhome, I would avoid this park.
Outstanding park. Facilities are beautiful; staff is friendly! Very well organized. Large sites. We travel 6 months a year, and this is one of the best parks we have stayed in, especially for $20.00 per night! (monthly rates are $400.00). Even if you don't gamble, this is a great RV park! The wi-fi is great, too! First night was even free!
Beautiful park with lots of pull throughs and level sites. The casino was nice too. The area is beautiful with many beautiful scenic drives. The park has a nice laundry room and showers. We would certainly stay here again.
Pretty basic campground, but we did get a level pull-through. The sites are gravel and there is a laundry room. There is free WiFi, but it's pretty slow. If you just need a place to stay at night, this would be fine.
The park was hard to find and the campsite was also hard to find. We were there in a 40' RV and most of the sites were small and back-in. For the price, I have stayed at better State Parks. The Beach area was closed because the water level was so low. There were very few campers there.
We spent 4 nights. We looked on-line and found a 50 amp site that would accommodate our rig. We stayed there Wednesday through Saturday, and since we are self-contained, we didn't use the showers. Although I looked at them. They were clean and spacious, but very dark and you had to pay for the showers. I loved the quiet atmosphere during the week. The trains were close, but we sleep with a fan, so the noise was not a problem. For the price, I thought this was an excellent park and would stay there again. The lakes were small, but beautiful. We had a family reunion there and were able to rent their new Rec Room. The ranger was very accommodating.
