You will need to stay at this park if you travel us 26. Shaded camp sites and nice and private. Well maintained and lots of hot water for showering. Large day use park for get togethers. We use this park when going to the Oregon Coast. Their are a lot of mosquitoes so bring your bug spray. You will like this park.
Excellent personnel. Sites are paved and lots of room for slides. Be aware their is a $5.00 charge for tow and extra vehicles.Golf course near by for those that like to golf and a winery for wine tasting. Will return. Oh yea this is our third time. Happy travels.
New park with small trees and new grass areas. Will be a great park in 4 or 5 years. Hiking trails and bike trails. Have picnic area that can handle large numbers of campers. Vault toilets with potable water. Stop and check it out for your next get together. Off US26 Auston Junction to Hwy 7, well marked.
A campground to stay at. Had a family reunion there for a week. Great location to go to Jackson, Yellowstone Park, Masa Falls, Float Trips and Horse back riding. Side by Side spaces, lots of shade. You need to call to make sure of reservations. Excellent camp host and a excellent owner, they will go out of there way to make sure you have a good time. Make sure you have enough food because the nearest food is Alpine Wy. 21 miles away, but it is a pretty drive along Palisades Reservoir.
Catherine Creek State Park is a nice and well maintained Campground. It has good spacing between sites, 2 pull throughs and 17 back-ins. There are 2 hiking trails and a lot of roads to check out. They work hard to make your stay enjoyable. No cell phone service at the park but if you drive to mile post 4 and park by the library you can get wifi. This was our second year at Catherine Creek State Park.
This is a excellent park to stay at. Friendly owner and willing to make your stay a positive one. Had a pull through and a view of the river. If there is a negative for this park it is that the spaces are a little close. If you have Dish or Directv you can get TV. For those with ATV's there are sand dunes across the river. Oh by the way the trains run all night long across the river, some enjoy blowing their whistles, but most do not.
