Campground is really over-priced for amenities provided. Most camp sites are not close to showers/restrooms. All activities are up the hill (big hill)at the hotel. There's no cable TV hookup, we could barely watch one TV station using antenna.
All things considered, this is an excellent well-run campground. There were only two negative issues: 1) if camped in one of the sites bordering I-95, the road noise is very loud and constant, and 2) as mentioned by others, the Wi-Fi signal is very weak. The pools are great, the Star Cafe on-site is really convenient, and transportation to and from DC is very efficient.
We've camped the last three years during the October Halloweekends. We always have a great time. This year, our camp site was very disappointing. It was in a tree shaded area, but many trees had dead overhanging limbs. I could see one falling through our awning. The camp site was absolutely littered with cigarette butts. Someone had filled a plastic soft drink bottle with rocks and inserted into the sewer connection. Glad I noticed before hooking up and dumping. It is obvious the park is focused on expansion of rental RVs and not paying attention to maintenance.
