The rate noted ($1,540 including tax) is for a 1 month stay. The best thing about this campground is the proximity to the Atlantic Ocean. The office/store is well stocked and well kept. The laundry facilities are fairly new and are also well maintained. The office staff and maintenance people are polite and helpful. The campground itself can best be described as "up scale primitive" as it's basically a sandy parking lot with hookups. No pool, lousy Wi-Fi, and marginal cable reception. With all it's shortcomings and head numbing prices, I guess if you want the ocean nearby this is the place to be.

These are the positives: A very nice park with paved roads, concrete pads, and patios, plus grass. The staff is very nice and helpful. Most of the previous comments we agree with. However, there are negatives to be considered: The beach is approximately 50 yards wide and 20 yards from the back to waters edge. Pretty dinky considering the amount of people and "stuff" they drag along. Since the beach is on Santa Rosa Sound, the water lacks the beautiful clear green color for which this area is known. The swimming pool is small for the number of people using it. More like a big hot tub containing lots of kids. Need I mention the "P" word? Heavy traffic flying by on Route 98 is an issue. Because the highway is divided, only right turns can be made. Making a "U" turn in a motor home pulling a toad is a little tough so it's better to go east a little ways to the Wal-Mart fot turnaround, and maybe fuel, if you're going west. Considering the lack of a good beach and price, we would not return.

We were on a 36 day trip and stayed in quite a few campgrounds along the way. Four Seasons was (and is) our favorite. The owner and employees couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating. The campground is clean and well kept at all times. We had a riverside site and had an enjoyable time watching the river otters play every morning. Also enjoyed watching the beautiful jet boats running the rapids. Although we didn't take a boat ride this time, we could have as the boat stops at the CG dock on it's way by. We intend to return and stay much longer the next time.

This is a great little campground. Nice people at the office, clean, well kept, grassy sites and best of all it's quiet. No trains, no truck traffic, no airport. We stay here everytime we pass through the Wytheville area.

A very over priced campground. Nothing more than a gravel parking lot with uneven sites. We only considered this place because we were tired and wanted off the interstate for a nights sleep.

Just a big, ugly, gravel parking lot. Only if you're desperate for a site because of the races next door should you consider this place.

Even though there are no full hookups (just electric) this is a favorite campground. The US Air Force and US Navy museums are first rate and should not be missed. The CG is located close by the Wine Trail and sits right beside beautiful Seneca Lake.

Having traveled, and stayed, in almost every state, our opinion is that this is the best RV Park in the US. Everything is top notch. Will return whenever we can.

One of the best we stay in. Will always recommend this CG to any and all. One piece of advice: when staying on the lowest level, use a water pressure regulator.

A very nice, clean overnight campground. Since the CG is fairly new, there are small trees offering no shade. The office area as well as the laundry facilities is spotless. Would highly recommend.

Upon arrival, our reservation couldn't be found so we were put into a site for the night and had to move the next day. This place can best be described as a mess. Dirt and dust everywhere. The sites are so close we could hear the neighbors breathing. Would never recommend staying here.

This is a great overnight campground. The office/reception building is modern and spotlessly clean as is the campground itself. The laundry and shower facilities are in like new condition. This is a relatively new CG, so shade is minimal. We would stay here again.

Advertised as having Wi-Fi and telephone at the site, no mention is made that there is a charge for both until registration. Each local call costs 25 cents. Pet runs are almost impossible to get to as there are no access paths. Park is just OK, we would not stay there again.

This is one of the best parks we have ever stayed in. Everything is top notch, including the courteous, friendly staff. The community center is spotless throughoutand includes a complete exercise room. Since this is a fairly new park, the shade trees have not fully developed, but the other landscaping is beautiful. Because of the dryness in this area, it is obvious why there are no fire rings and no fires allowed. Although Rt. 17 is nearby, the traffic noise is minimal. We will recommend this park to whoever we meet and will definitely stay here again.

A beautiful, well kept park. There is a charge for Wi-Fi and in order to get cable you must be on a "premium" site. A light breakfast is free of charge. Would stay there again.

This park is nothing more than an overpriced, big blacktop parking lot. The ocean view sites are tightly packed back-in and are so close that we had trouble getting out our door without hitting the neighboring RV. The ocean view is from a height of at least 100 feet, if it can be seen through the fog. The only thing it has going for it is it's proximity to SF and other more desirable towns on the coast. Would pass it by the next time.

A beautiful over night campground. Lots of space and lots of well maintained grass. A very nice check-in experience, which means we will always stay here when the need occurs.

This is a jewel of a campground. Everyone was friendly and helpful at check-in. The park is well maintained and is spotless. The trains passing by were were interesting and no bother at all. We will definitley stay here again as we travel through the state.
