This is an excellent State park campground with electric and water. Sites are concrete and roads are paved. I am referring to the southside Turkey Pass unit. Lots of shade trees and next to the boat launch.
Nice campground on St. Mary's River to watch the ships go by. Gravel sites are level, clean and large. Great staff. Lots to do in area. Stayed here 10 days and could have stayed longer. Need sewer hook-ups and paving to get a 10 rating.
Good RV park with view of lake. Best sites are #8 to #18 with unobstructed view of lake. Sites need dirt hauled in to fill depression in center caused by years of use. Attendant would not turn WI-FI access on to Internet. Cable TV was weak (analog) and movie channels blocked. No sewer to allow longer visits. Needs MANAGEMENT.
Nice State Park with lots of trees. Good utilities and my AT&T cell and air-card worked fine. Had pigs go through the park one morning policing up scraps. Only problem was lots of no-se'ums (gnats). We noticed no one was outside when we arrived and now we know why. Could not utilize the picnic table and fire-ring due to the biting gnats. Would stay here in winter.
Very nice BLM campsite. Has lots of hiking sites and scenery to enjoy. Big wooded sites with lots of privacy. Tables and fire rings. Close to Whittier Visitor's Center and tunnel to Whittier. Will stay here again.
Very nice park close to the State Fair, grocery stores and gas stations. Wooded sites accommodated our 40 ft motorhome and tow-jeep. Very clean restrooms and showers with music. Owners are very nice and directed us to local restaurants and other services. Owners kept park clean and organized. Stayed here one week in the fall and they pumped out our holding tanks (nice amenity). Also stayed here in the spring upon arriving in Alaska this year and in past years. Have recommend this park to others and will stay here again. Over the air TV and 3G AT&T service for your cell and air-card. No unruly guests or loose pets.
