The only reason that I didn't give this resort an rating of 10 was the closeness of the sites. As others have said, they really pack them in here. Our site, E-15, had 4 other RVs parked next to us at various angles. However, none of them had their front facing us, so I still feel that we had some privacy. We were very impressed with the rest of the resort. There was a very nice pool, a lake, a 9-hole mini-golf course, an activities building with a lending library for both kids and adults, and an amazing store and check-in area. There was an arcade too, but several machines were broken and the room was a bit dingy. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful during our stay, and the resort was very well located and only a 5-10 minute drive to just about everything including the beach.
This was by far our favorite campground so far. Restrooms and showers were modern and well-maintained, although after the Saturday night rush were in need of cleaning. The Delaware River ran right next to the campground with a wide offshoot of it available for tube rides. There was a huge outdoor chess and checkers board that my kids loved. There was a barn dance with a DJ on Saturday night. Our spot was right near the seasonals section but all were tasteful and well-maintained, and our spot was very large and easy to pull into. The pool was very nice with a wading pool right next to it. There was also a large modern playground and a softball field. Security to get into the campground was very tight, and, I was told by one of the seasonals, 'riff-raff' are not tolerated.
If you are looking for a quiet place to camp for the weekend, this is it. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms and showers were rustic but clean and had just had updates made to the stalls. There was really nothing to do at the campground, though, except play ball in the big open field. There is a swimming pond but it is very small and was very cold.
Other than having a little difficulty backing into the campsite due to the placement of trees, everything else at this campground was great. Our site was level and well-maintained with new crushed gravel. The bathrooms and showers were pristine. Since it was early in the season and the campground was not full, they did a good job of filling every other site so that groups were not on top of each other. The sites were good-sized and shaded, yet we were right across from the playground which was great for our boys. It is definitely a quiet, family-friendly campground that the owners take pride in keeping in good condition.
