We stayed here to watch the shuttle launch on April 5, 2010. The view was great and the site was good considering this is a public camp ground. The campers here where very nice and the price is very reasonable. Take squirrel food, you will enjoy all the squirrels.
We camped at this campground on our way home back to Texas for 2 nights. It had very low water pressure and was hard to even wash dishes. The cable TV did not work either. You have only 4 hours of free internet then you have to pay of it. They charged us $80.00 for the first night which was a Monday night (go figure) and $40.00 for the following night. The camp site was not clean . Even though people were suppose to pick up after their pet, I saw know sign of this. Dog waste everywhere, I was afraid to walk in what little grass there was.
