While this site was roomy and quiet, the roads were rough and needed graded. We had convenient hookups for a toy hauler. There are no trees for the RV sites, and the ground is very sandy, but the scenery is pretty. We never could find the trash dumpster, but a call to the owner would have taken care of that. We arrived late to check in due to two blowouts in the extreme heat. We felt our hostess was in a hurry to be paid rather than showing us some hospitality. If I were the owner, I hopefully would have been gracious enough to let the campers settle in and settle up in the morning. We stayed a week, and the rest of our stay was pleasant.
This camp was clean, but being an older campground, looked outdated and was located in an industrial area. It had all the essentials: roomy lots, convenient hook-ups, laundry facility, and store. We did see a pool, and cabins, and dog park as well, but had no need for these on this trip.
We have only good things to say about this campground. Nestled in lush pine trees, you have a feel of wilderness, even with the other RV's in sight. The office/store is well stocked, and includes a charming eclectic collection of the owners grandmother. The only drawback, which was not a big issue, was the site was a little narrow for slides. The owner was super friendly, and reminded us of our son. Will stay there again!
The owner was very helpful and hospitable. The setting was rustic and peaceful. The difficulty we had we the hookups were at the back of the site, and a long way from the side hook ups of our toy hauler. Other than that, we enjoyed our over-nighter.
Beautiful campgrounds. Staff was helpful and showed us a map of the camp then led us by golf cart to our site. Everything was excellent. Level sites, well maintained driveways. Would stay there again.!
