Price reflects $10.00 reservation fee. Campground is 20 minutes outside of Santa Rosa. This is a clean park, with a nice pull-through. Had concrete picnic tables. Views of the lake but from a distance. This was a stop over for one night.
Great campground, we had a pull through near river. The only downside is arriving from the East, thru the tunnel, we had to remove tow car to get through switchbacks. We took alternate route to the West on departure. There are no water hookups but you can fill rig at dump station at entrance. We stayed three nights. You can walk to Visitors Center, Springdale town from campground. Ranger talks were informative and fun. Verizon Mi-Fi worked great. Favorite campground and National Park on our two week trip through Utah.
We were very disappointed with Wahweap. It was near the end of a two week vacation through Utah. The campground is no more than a parking lot: your neighbor is sooooo close you can pass a cup of sugar if your slides are on the same side. We were supposed to stay two nights but left early. It was also the most expensive campground on our trip. The upper campground which had no hook ups, had more space between campers. Lake Powell is beautiful. Verizon Mi-Fi worked great.
We stayed three nights. Nice park, but it has no water. We filled our tanks at a prior campground. Campground is small loop, a little tight with our toad, as we had a back-in spot. 1 mile up the road is the most awe-inspiring view of canyonlands. Nice location to visit Moab, Arches, and Island in the Sky. Nearest supplies are 20 minutes away. Would stay here again.
Nice, clean park on the west side of Torrey. It's 15 minutes to Capitol Reef Park. Has friendly staff, nice store with gifts, snacks, and supplies. The pull-through sites were on gravel, and well spaced.
