This year is very windy and cold, the registration lady came out and registered us through the window of our truck so we would not have to get out in the wind. She was very pleasant and helpful. This is a very pretty camp and quiet. The roads are a bit narrow in places. The Wi-Fi connection was very good and included in the fee. We will stay here again on our way through.
This is our third year to stay at this camp. We keep coming back because it is very pretty and the people are so nice. The camp is very clean and easy for us to see the local sites. Security is good and we don't have to worry about leaving our rig for the day.
We camped along the river under the lights of Laughlin. The guy next to us started his generator at 3AM. We complained to the manager but I don't think they said anything to him. We didn't notice the traffic noise. Stayed 3 days and enjoyed the riverside site.
Staff very helpful and friendly. The sites were crowded and appeared to have 2 RV's end to end. Camp is a work in progress. No dog run specified so many people walking their dogs around the camp and across the sites. The camp sits on top of a hill and you have a full view of Lake Havasu, at least for now. After they finish the Marine Center, the view will be blocked. Bathrooms were very nice, shower in the laundry area with just a curtain. We were there in December and again in February. Wi-Fi is pay online. You can go to the office and use a free connection.
Mostly full timers here. We were lucky to get a site. The camps in this area are few and far in between. First night we got the Good Sam rate but they would not honor it for the second night and we had to pay full rate. It appears to be all back-in sites. The trees branches were in our way, we tried every angle, we could not get back far enough to hook in to the water and sewer. So we still had to pay the full rate for power only. Got a couple of channels on the antenna. Dog run was a storage field and not close to the sites and full of stickers. The park appears to be well maintained
Very pretty park in large pines. Our site was kind of cramped but we got there late and they only had a couple left. Looks to be a destination camp for the the square dancers. Thus the name.. They were very kind and invited us to their pot luck. Next time we will reserve ahead. Small store. Easy Access into the park.
Spent one night. Most of the many garbage cans were overflowing. Wi-fi didn't reach our space. I was told I could take my computer to the lounge. We were lucky and did not have to share our side by side hook-up. Very little shade. Never did locate the "Creek". In it's day it was probably a nice camp but now it does not deserve the Good Sam rating it has.
Easy location, Lots of trees for shade and pruned up so they don't brush the RV. Well maintained grounds. We stayed here 3 nights and were very happy. Good Sam rate is $16. A bargain considering how pretty it is.
