One of our favorites! We stay here often. The town of Bandon is fun. Crabbing is great! Lots of hiking trails. The Lighthouse tours are enlightening.

Cottonwood, Arizona Dead Horse Ranch State Park

The campground was "high and dry" with great hiking trails. The view of Jerome was fabulous. HOWEVER, the camp hosts were unbending about visitors. They charged $5 every time my parents drove into the park to pick my husband and I up or dropped us off back at our campsite. We did not have a toad yet, so relied on them for transportation. When we told them that they were just dropping us off, the host actually followed us to our site and said that if my father got out of the car, he would be charged $5.
