This was our first time staying in West Virginia and we could not have picked a better place. Aside from the endless list of amenities the campground was well maintained and clean. Check out the website for all of the stuff they have. We enjoyed riding the aerial tram, the nature center, and I was able to get a couple of rounds of golf in. We would stay here again. Probably not ideal for an overnight stay because it is approximately 15 miles from the interstate.
This is our second time staying here, and it was a great weekend once again. The sites are fairly level and well shaded. Each one had a fire ring and picnic table. The biggest attraction to coming here is the family friendly park just a short walk from the campground. They have a small zoo, petting zoo, miniature train ride, carousel, mini golf, paddle boats, fishing, and a playground. Everything is very economically priced. If you have kids under 10 this would be a great place to stay for a weekend. We would definitely stay here again.
