Nightly rate was 38.11 which INCLUDED taxes. Rate was going to be much higher, about 45 but when we got there they had lowered the rate. Nice campground but spaces in western side are fairly tight maneuvering for larger rigs 40 and over. Nice 'wilderness' trails through campground that is surrounded with a nice pole fence. Lots of tent sites in this campground. Propane was expensive compared to local vendor but is available onsite. staff friendly. problems with their WiFi so we were without for three straight days. Once working was OK but pretty slow. ATT service was OK but not fast either. Not far from town activities and close to getting to visitor places. would stay here again or might try place on west end of town on next trip.

Excellent WiFi if you get one of the spots closer to the casino itself: 3mbytes, which was fastest we had in three months. Free Continental breakfast was a nice touch, and could 'upgrade' meal for a reasonable amount money. Great access to their indoor pool, showers, laundry. If you get their players card and play a certain amount you get one night free for each night stayed. Will stay here instead of going to Durango in future. Restaurant had good specials almost everyday. Short drive to Durango and area attractions.

$30 rate included tax. This is what I call a 'specialty' RV facility, meaning you pretty much would stay here if you were using the shooting facility. GREAT shooting facility, look them up at their website. There are actually two RV campgrounds and this is the west one and only the west one currently has 50 amp service and only one that really has trees: lots of them. Spaces are carved out of the pinion and pine trees so if you want satellite TV be sure to tell them when you make reservations, or trees might block your line of sight. NO good AT&T service (E instead of 3g), and no WiFi unless you go to the Shotgun center. Verizon service was much better than AT&T. RV sites are a few miles back into the property on gravel/dirt roads so if you have a diesel pusher, be aware of dust situation. Since there are no street lights, evenings were 'dark skys' and very peaceful. Close proximity to Raton for places to eat, get groceries, etc. Staff was EXTREMELY nice. Would stay here again as they have plans to expand and offer other than shooting: like hiking and mountain biking.

The 21 rate reflects a monthly rate, not nightly. Sites semi graveled, but each year they put in more gravel and sites are better. Drainage can be a problem in heavy rain. GREAT owners who'll bend over backwards to accommodate you. Close to town and all the Silverton area activities. Would stay here again. WiFi was iffy first week or so then got better and was reasonable although not fast, but cell tower is right next to park so we got good ATT and Verizon service.

Very friendly and helpful manager. Went out of her way to make our visit comfortable. Sites are VERY wide in width. Plenty of room to park a 'toad' and/or trailer beside the motorhome or trailer. Nice 'jump off' point to visit this wonderful and scenic area.

Good dog park. Nice sites, BUT for the price, it should at least include a picnic table at the sites. You can get one but you have to 'upgrade' to a premium site. Convenient to a Casino and both the newer part of Temecula AND Old Temecula. Excellent location to visit 58 different wineries. Wish it wasn't so pricy, but this IS California and other than the picnic table problem, it has good amenities. Be prepared to put down a multitude of deposits if you want a bathroom key, etc. Making a reservation is NOT easy as they only take PHONE calls and ONLY certain times of the day. Would be nice if they came into the current century and used the web. Don't miss the EXCELLENT Mexican food at the corner market. Looks like fast food but it is prepared FRESH and is the best ever.

It is a crime to charge a LOT for Wi-Fi in this day and age and it is CRAPPY. Won't stay here again even though it is convenient to strip. Upper lots were noisy and VERY short for our larger rig. Tree branches overhung our site and were NOT trimmed. Is a good dog run but due to no free good Wi-Fi, short sites, and noise we'll stay elsewhere. Really needs some updating.

This is a good park--probably one of best 'values' in Las Vegas since the Silverton closed a few years ago. Yes, plane noise from Nellis, but can be tolerated. Good dog run facilities. VERY friendly, helpful staff. Great security in that they are gated. Will stay here again. Don't know why some people indicated in reviews they left as didn't feel safe. DEFINITELY safer than other parks on Boulder Highway that we've stayed in even though some of the sites were shorter than we like for our 41 foot rig and tow.

Great stopping off point on way to or from Vegas. Friendly staff, nice long pull throughs, good reliable power. Would stay here again without any hesitation.

Durango is a difficult place to find a reasonably priced RV spot. Spots at the Ignacio Casino are more reasonable but it is 30 minutes from Durango. We have stayed at Alpen Rose in the past and it hasn't changed. Nice but not worth what is being charged. Doesn't even have a 'work out' facility for the premium prices. The Wi-Fi has always been a problem and this trip was no different. They keep working on it but wasn't reliable. AT&T air card was EXTREMELY slow so if using a computer is important to you, then beware. I understand that Verizon is much better. The breakfast they serve is still a good value for the price. Older spots are under large trees so if you need satellite service request spots in the front of the park. Park is about 10 minutes from the north edge of town, not walkable distance.

VERY friendly staff. Our site was facing Kendall Mountain and the Narrow Gage Train tracks. Spectacular "front window" view ALL the time. Good wi-fi. Liked this better than another park because we got a better rate, even though it is virtually right next to the Red Mountain facility--only divided by a gravel road. Easy walk to town and all the facilities of Silverton. If you don't like train smoke then ask to be on the north, not south, side of the park. Campground host was always checking with us to see if he could improve our stay.

Nice and quite park. Conveniently located right at the Casino but Casino had heavy cigarette smoke even in the non-smoking areas. RV Park had nice grass areas and good shade. Is about a 15 minute drive to Cortez, but this RV park had better sites and less expensive than what we saw in Cortez.

We stayed here two weeks in an electric/water pull through as they didn't have full service available for our stay. Staff will bend over backwards to help you. Great restaurant w/ $4.99 all you can eat breakfast, and a Friday/Saturday prime rib special to die for. Only 20 miles to Cody and 30 miles to the east entrance of Yellowstone. Wind blew a lot, so be forewarned, of course this IS Wyoming. Portable Honey dipper will pump out anytime you need them to for a modest charge. Wi Fi worked great and we could still get our broadband reception. A little on the pricey side but being this close to Yellowstone, it really isn't too bad.

1. WiFi was fairly good when it worked. Crashed several times during out visit and staff wasn't trained to reboot. Had to wait on the owner to reset. 2. The water pressure was low in the mornings. Staff said it was due to demand on city system. 3. Was a high extra charge if you have more than one vehicle: almost $5 per day. There was plenty of extra space but they stuck with the additional charge. So if you are staying longer then it will be costly. ANYTHING: a cycle, cycle trailer, etc. is counted as 'extra' . They charge if you also have a toad. 4. There is no monthly rate, but they did give a discount on a week's stay. All Durango RV rates are high, except for the Southern Ute facility at the casino in Ignacio. 5. $6.99 for the all you can eat breakfast each day.

Staff was extremely helpful. This is a nice clean park with a lot of 'park models'. Has nice spaces, especially those that are set up in the 'quad' fashion where 4 coaches share a common grassy/tree area: great for people traveling in a small group.

Although this park is well maintained, as stated by others, AND the staff is friendly I rated this park a 6 instead of an 8 or 9 because of the HIGH charge for wi-fi in a time that almost ALL RV parks do NOT charge. When I asked management WHY they still charge they basically indicated that was their policy. RV travelers now DEPEND on good and either free or cheap wi-fi. This park wanted $6 a day AND the wi-fi was not reliable. The park is NOT making an effort to address this problem. The normal day rate was $49 dollars but I found a special $35 rate on the internet.

I would have rated this park higher but we had a battery failure on our Toad in front of the restroom which was about 30 yards from our coach and all we needed was a 'jump'--we even had our own jumper cables but the KOA staff told us they couldn't help us due to 'insurance concerns'. Due to no one else being around, I had to call a Battery Service company who came out about an hour later and for a hefty fee gave me a jump so I could go to Auto Zone and get a new battery. All it would have taken was 5 minutes of use from one of their many KOA vehicles in the yard or even from on of their tractors they used for a hay ride. They totally ignored us as we sat in the sun waiting on the battery service vehicle to arrive as they zipped around on their KOA golf carts. The amenities of the park are good, but of course you pay the high KOA rates in order to enjoy. I'll stick with 'mom and pop' parks when I can as I can assure you a 'mom and pop' park would have helped us with a 'jump'.

Great friendly park. Very level spots and plenty of room. Mom and pop operation and managers are very friendly. Easy access just off I-90 and good 4B restaurant at the park turn off. Park will give you a 10% off meal coupon for 4B and a discount card for fuel at their fuel station. Be sure to take the prison tour and don't miss the best car exhibit covering vehicles from the early 1900 through muscle car era. Cable TV is an extra $2 but has many good channels. Good location to visit surrounding mining towns also. We had intended to stay at the local KOA but when we went there a sign on the door said no one would be around until later in the evening but we ended up liking the Indian Creek facility so much we would return there without any hesitation.

As others have said, this is a fairly good location especially if you want to visit the Little Big Horn sites. There is a 24/7 noise issue to the east which is the power plant. You get used to it droning on, but it IS there. I would have rated this higher, but the staff told me I would have a site where I could use my satellite but when they took me to the site it was right under a VERY large cottonwood tree and I could not get a 'lock'. What was irritating was I had asked both at the time I booked the site and just before they took me to the site via a golf-cart lead and both times was told I'd be OK for reception. Then after I had the jacks down and couldn't lock on they said I could move to one of the other more clear sites. I didn't since I was already set up. Also, they are VERY tight on water use as they have to truck in their water and the water pressure showed it. If you need to do any clothes washing, do it before you get here.

The owners of this park, couldn't have been more helpful. They bent over backwards to be sure our stay was enjoyable. We needed to stay one more night than what we had reserved and they went out of their way to find us a site for the extra night. Good food at the Butch Cassidy restaurant. Great place to stay if you want to visit Bryce, Zion, Fish Lake, or Capitol Reef.

Owner welcomed us and was very helpful. Sites are fantastic in size and clean and level. Short walk to view the lake. Was able to access the lake and let the dog swim, which owner said was fine to do. Far better than the KOA that wanted over $65 per night plus bedding tax. Allowed us to visit the town of Polson and also take the trip around Flathead Lake. Will definitely return for a longer visit in the future. Special rates available for week or month visits. Could not get the website on their brochure to work so will have to research it.

50 amp service is extra $2 per night. The owner operators and are very friendly and helpful. Rustic setting just 15 miles east of Colorado Springs. Easy access to the city via Woodmen road or Hiway 24. New growth in area provides for fast food, gas, and grocery shopping just minutes away, although the campground has its own country store and gas station. Gravel roads and spaces are well kept. Spaces spread out so you don't get the 'feel' of being in a normal side by side RV park. Variety of spots for both RV parking and tent camping. Great fast wi-fi service that is free. Not the fanciest place you'll stay, but it is definitely one of the friendliest.
