We stayed here one night for a group outing during the week. As soon as we arrived, the staff was very friendly and allowed us to choose from a couple different sites that would best accommodate our group. Shortly after arrival it started raining, and the owners were nice enough to allow us to watch the Bears game on the game room TV, even after the lobby had closed. The bathrooms and showers were very clean, and our sites were nice and level.

We stayed here for Labor Day weekend, and were hoping for a better experience than last time since they are under new management. As soon as we arrived, we were told we would be charged $2.00 extra per day to run the A/C in our RV. There was no information provided about activities, amenities, checkout time, etc. The sites were cramped, and our sewer backed up the first night just in time for dinner outside. The lake and pool were fun with the exception of the inappropriate rap music blaring from the office and a $5.00 daily fee to rent life vests. The bathrooms were disgusting (even in the office). The miniature golf ($1.50 per person) was run down and the dumpsters are not conveniently located to all sites. We will not stay here again.

We stopped here for a one night stay on our way back to Chicago. We selected this Jellystone campground because we were traveling with young children and wanted a kid oriented campground where they could unwind, play, and swim. To our surprise the majority of the park was seasonal sites with an older clientele. The pool and game room were closed at 7:00 pm leaving very little for the kids to do after dinner. The pool did not re-open until 11:00 am and check-out was at noon leaving little time to swim before departing. There was a $3 per person charge for mini-golf which seemed excessive considering the condition of the course. Because we got there on a Sunday afternoon and left Monday the kids never even saw Yogi and there were no activities. If it were not for the Passport America discount this would have been very overpriced. Bathrooms and campground were very clean and it did have a nice playground. Not your typical Jellystone campground.

I would not describe this as a "luxury" RV resort. However, the nice pool and being within walking distance to restaurants and the beach made this a good place to stay when visiting Gulf Shores with young children. The bathrooms were clean and the staff was friendly. We did lose power twice while here, during heavy rainfall. Luckily it came back on within a short period of time. We would stay here again.

We stopped here on our way to Gulf Shores, Alabama and needed a place for a short overnight stay. It was late Sunday night and no one answered the phone initially, but the owner was nice enough to call us back to let us know they had spaces available. This is definitely not a destination campground, but for a quick overnight it does the job. Close to the highway, clean bathrooms and friendly owners. We paid $18 with Passport America.

We stayed here for Heroes weekend, and even being full, the campground was quiet and did not feel overcrowded. The kids enjoyed the clean swimming lake, indoor pool, hiking trails and BMX track. The main building has a nice camp store, with food, ice cream, candy and video games. The staff was very friendly, and were always keeping up on the cleaning.

This is a good place to stop for an overnight stay, but not an extended vacation. The pool was clean, they had a few old video games for the kids, and the bathrooms were clean.

We stayed here for a quick overnight stop on our way back from Jackson, Wyoming. The staff was friendly, but the campground is definitely nothing fancy and looks like a big dirt parking lot. There was a miniature golf course for the kids, a nice laundry room, and the bathrooms were clean.

The sites are small and crowded, and we were told that some of the sites have been split into two smaller sites to accommodate more campers. Many larger RV's didn't fit on the sites, and we had a slideout hanging over our firepit. Our site had some type of underground leak coming from our water hookup, which kept flooding a portion of the site. The bathrooms are old and dirty, and the staff was not that helpful. Don't waste your money here.

We stayed here while visiting Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse. We were immediately greeted by the owner, who was very friendly and told us about a chuck wagon dinner they were having when we arrived. The bathrooms were clean, and the kids enjoyed seeing all the horses. Firewood was available for delivery directly to your site, and the location was a good distance from all nearby attractions.

We stayed here while visiting Yellowstone, and chose this campground for the close proximity to the north Yellowstone entrance. The staff seemed somewhat friendly when we checked in, but the views and location made up for the attitude. The sites were well maintained, and the bathrooms were some of the nicest we've ever seen. The only problem was that all of the sites are watered each day, and on our last day our site was flooded. The staff was very understanding, and refunded our last day for the inconvenience.
