We stayed here last year also under coast2coast, but they no longer are C2C. We paid a weekly rate of $175. This is a beautiful park. RV's park with their back to one neighbor and facing the other neighbor. I don't particularly like that, but thankfully, we had good front neighbors. The hot tub was closed when we were there which was a disappointment. There is a pier for lake fishing and the permanent snowbirds are very friendly. My husband even got in on their daily tournament of "washers." There is a chapel on the property and weekly Sunday services. Lots to do at the resort and in the vicinity. Only 40 miles north of beautiful Destin beach.
We really liked this park and stayed 6 nights. It was quiet and friendly. The slow pace on the island makes it like being at a quiet retreat. I did lots of biking around the island from our camping spot. There were a number of things to see right on the Island... lighthouse, Fort Screven, Fort Pulaski, BEACHES... and all of Savannah just a short drive away. We would definitely return.
This was a great park, but as coast2coast they made us choose from section 2 or 4. Section 4 was awful. We stayed in 2 and had a nice site. We saw wild turkeys in the park several times. There was a very nice indoor pool and lots of other amenities. Staff was very friendly. Location in Branson was great!! We had a tornado warning one night and there is a designated tornado shelter in the park and their own security people drive around alerting people in case they didn't hear the siren or have a NOAA radio. We stayed 10 nights and would definitely stay there if we visit Branson again.
We were here for a weekend. This is a very nice place and the sites are nice. I don't remember what we paid. The staff were very friendly and the park was close to the Fort Worth area... which is what we were wanting. Although security was visible at the gate, they did not seem to do drive-throughs in the park. We had neighbors with VERY noisy kids who were hooting and hollering until 1:00 AM. Yes, we would stay there again if in the area.
This is a very nice park. We stayed 5 nights. The sites are large and flat. We saw deer in the park every night. This RV park is connected to a time share resort so all amenities are shared. Nice! Our son and dau-in-law came for a weekend and got a cabin. Very nice! One downfall is that there is no cable and no TV reception on antenna. Thankful for my books and my husband's DVD's. Would definitely stay here again.
This park was a disappointment. The staff was very friendly, but the sites were not level and our "yard" was not good. There is nothing to do in the area. We left earlier than we had planned. We would not return.
We stayed here as an overnight pit-stop knowing the park was still under construction. When finished it will be top-notch, but right now there is work and construction going on. We had our own private lamppost at our site... as did all others. The owner was on-site and was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Walmart was close by. Would like to return when it is complete.
This is a beautiful place and we didn't mind paying the money for it. We stayed 3 nights. The sites are large and level. mostly patio in front, but a patch of grass at every site. (Good for my doggies). Very pet friendly. There is a "doggie treat window" for when we took the doggies walking. This is a gated resort within a few blocks of the French Quarter. There is still one apt buildling from the old projects just beyond the resort, but I DID feel safe there. Pool and hot tub area is beautiful. Bathrooms, laundry and reception is A+. It is a bit noisy with traffic and sirens... but I sleep with earplugs so no problem for me! Would definitely stay again!
This is a nice park that is "coming back" after being flooded during Katrina. We had a nice site on the bayou and did some fishing. It is close to Gulfport and Biloxi for sightseeing. We stayed as coast2coast members. Nice beaches very close by.
We have stayed here quite a few times on our coast2coast membership. I love this resort. It is one of the nicest I have seen anywhere. Clean, friendly, secure. Concrete pads are level. WiFi from community building only, but I had good a good 3G connection at my site. Campground is within walking distance of Barefoot Landing and lots to do in the area. Community rooms available. We will continue to camp here several times each year.
We stayed here 3 nights. Our purpose for being in the area was to attend an Atlanta Braves home game and the travel time was into Atlanta was fine. This camping area was very shady and very peaceful. We were made aware that poison ivy was a problem they are working on and therefore we knew to be watchful. The bathrooms and showers were clean and the washers/dryers were the most reasonable I have seen anywhere. I was able to get 4G service for computer and good cell phone service with Verizon. We were very close to the exchange and a club. Would definitely return for another short stay. Would not consider long term only due to no sewer sites.
