We initially booked to stay at the Hitch-N-Post for a week but enjoyed the location and all it had to offer so much we extended a couple of days. The owners of this park are super! We arrived to the warmest welcome we have had since beginning our road trip of the USA. We were provided with information, pamphlets, and suggestions of where to go and what to see. The park is very conveniently located in the historic township,of Panguitch, a short walk to the shops, Gem picture theatre, restaurants, and supermarket. The sites are level and all have a picnic table. The laundry facilities are excellent, clean and lots of machines. The owners live on site and are working very hard to make a great park even better. Many thanks - and we will return!

Location is beautiful, but the park itself is in desperate need of some maintenance! Our camp site was covered in garbage and old dirty carpet. We lost water twice in our 7 day stay - thankfully we had water in reserve. If you travel with dogs be aware of the extra charges!

This is a wonderful 'Ma and Pa' type RV park. Hosts are very helpful, sites are pretty level, and all facilities / hook ups work well. Lots of shade trees, the cheapest laundry at a buck a wash and dry. Very close to the township and all area attractions. Very quiet and well maintained.

Very convenient well maintained RV park. If you like to gamble, the casino is a quick walk across the car parking lot. Good restaurants. We did the Friday night seafood smorgasbord, good value. They have a free shuttle bus to the strip. Sites are a little tight, but after all - this is Vegas!

This is just the best. Spectacular views over Lake Mead. Sunsets are just amazing. The sites are level, and all facilities work well. We had to pay for wi-fi as our Verizon didn't work well. Lots of hiking trails, and the Valley of Fire State Park not too far away. We extended our stay; we just couldn't drag ourselves away!

Given the number of RV parks in Yuma it was a bit difficult to pick one out based on location as a lot of the parks are literally located down one strip. We chose caravan oasis based on its reviews and we were not disappointed. Like most parks this one is huge, over 500 sites - a good mix of permanents and snow birders, all very friendly and welcoming. The office staff are delightful and there are lots of activities each day, including a wonderful water aerobic class conducted by some of the volunteers - excellent classes! Great exercise room, not that we got to use it but lots of equipment in it. The laundry facilities are clean and there were even clothes lines - it was so nice to be able to hang our laundry out for a change rather than having to put it through a clothes dryer. (Nothing like sun on the sheets ! ). We companion camped and we probably would have given this park a 10 if the pull through sites weren't located in the same area as the over night stays, basically in a gravel car park. There were lots of other spaces available that have concrete pads etc as long as you don't mind backing in rather than pulling through. Traffic and train noise were minimal - train noise seems to be a real issue in some other parks. We would recommend staying here. Rate is based on a weekly rate.

Prepare for close camping! The sites in this park are very cosy, once our slides were out there was very little room to even walk between our and the next trailer. This didn't bother us too much though, it basically encouraged everyone to get out and make friends or at at least have a chat to the fellow campers. The owners are great and very helpful, escorting everyone to their sites. The absolute benefit of staying here is the close proximity to the township of Tombstone, only half a block away! Fantastic! The entire park is gravel but that is pretty much expected in the desert. All hookups worked well including the WiFi. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for 5 nights with our travelling companions, we in a 40 foot fifth wheel and they in a 40 foot motorhome. The pull through sites are large, all gravel but that is expected in the desert. Sites are level, no need for any leveling blocks here. The sites are so positioned that we were able to companion camp , ie park our rigs so that our exit doors were facing each other enabling us to set up our picnic tables and chairs etc in a central area. The owner is just delightful, very accommodating and provided us with quite a few suggestions on what to do in the Tucson area. We would definitely stay here again. One word of warning however, there is another RV park right next door so make sure you go past the entrance to this one, we got caught and had to do a drive through!

This park was recommended to us by another couple who we had met on the road and have kept in touch with. They called us and told us that we just had to come to the Rockhound State Park. Most of the sites are on a first come basis, but there are a few that are reservable. We were certainly not disappointed! This place is magic. In the middle of the New Mexico desert sitting up on a plateau overlooking the valley and the township of Deming in the distance - beautiful at night! The sunsets are magnificent! The sites are huge all with a rubbish bin that is emptied each couple of days. Each site has a covered picnic table and seats on a concrete slab, a fire pit and a grill. There are plenty of walking trails; we did the Lovers Leap trail at Spring Canyon. The sign post says it is .5 of a mile. They lied! It is much farther than that but certainly worth the climb. Just make sure you take water with you as it is quite a distance! And, as this park is in the center of rockhound country; you are actually allowed to take up to 15 lbs of rock from the State Park with you when you leave! Great for rock enthusiasts and those just wanting a peaceful, easy to get to location!

We diverted to this park after not being able to get a site at the nearby State Park. This is a community of snow birders, permanent residents, and includes avenues of mobile homes. It all seems to work really well. The office staff were very friendly and helpful. They have a number of computers in the lounge area and unfortunately this is the only place that wi-fi is available. There is cable TV available, and if you don't have a cable they are available from the office for a $25 refundable deposit. Sites are large (gravel), all have a picnic table - only draw back is the positioning of the hook ups. They are right down the back of the site , so you either need to make sure you back right up or have an extended sewer and water hose. Residents and snow birders are very welcoming, Walmart is a block away, and there are 2 hairdressing salons on site. The laundry is the biggest I have ever seen, very reasonably priced as well. We would stay here again.

This campground is the first one we have stayed at where we were escorted to our site, and the owner actually had a spirit level to make sure that we were level! Not that he really needed it, the site was perfect! The park is well maintained, lots of trees and fantastically fast wi-fi. The owner has a great sense of humor and is very knowledgeable about the area of Ruidoso, which by the way is beautiful! Temperatures were below zero at night when we were there, and the owner is very pedantic about ensuring that your and his water pipes don't freeze, so much so that he knocked on our door reminding us that we needed to unhook one night. We didn't use the bathrooms, but I always go and check them out anyway , spotless. Only oddity was the sign advising that they are closed every night between 10.:00 pm and 7:00 am.

We arrived in Roswell after escaping a snow storm up in Amarillo. We escaped the snow and drove into a dust storm! We chose this park based on the reviews on this site and we were not disappointed. Our hosts greeted us like old friends and provided us with lots of information and suggestions on where to go and what to see in the area. The park is neat and tidy with gravel , level sites. Each one with a concrete pad and picnic table. The laundry has a good number of washers and dryers, a vending machine and a book swap library. Internet connection was quick which was much appreciated because we had no coverage with our Verizon jet pack. We initially booked in for a couple of days but ended up extending. We had great neighbors (fellow RV ers). The owners live on site and they obviously take a lot of care and have pride in their park. They were trimming trees, weeding etc the whole time we were there.

Full hook up (50 amp) , 24 hour security, complimentary $10 gambling vouchers, free coffee and soda, great restaurant, fantastic staff and a room with a view all for $0. Granted the RV parking is at the edge of the car park and we were a little concerned at first that the noise of the traffic may have bothered us but it certainly didn't. The car park is big enough and it was cold enough that the patrons for the casino parked close to the front doors! We stayed a total of 4 nights because a snow storm hit the area on the second day and with the roads being icy so we weren't keen to move. The staff at the casino were very understanding with the security staff popping by to make sure we were OK each morning. We would definitely recommend staying here for an overnight stop. Make sure you try the Indian taco at the casino restaurant. It is delicious! Like another reviewer.

We chose this park randomly, we were leaving Dallas early afternoon and wanted to find somewhere not too far away. We checked our Allstays iPad app and this park was noted. As always we check out other 'campers' reviews and thought this one sounded pretty good. We arrived and were absolutely delighted! This park is an absolute gem! The sites are wide and long and pretty level, the hook ups perfect and each site has a grill and a fire pit! We called ahead and were told to just go and pick our own spot and that the camp hosts would be along later in the day to collect our camping fee. There were so many wonderful sites we drove around a couple of times before deciding. There are some sites directly on the lakeside, some nestled in the trees and some more appropriate for a big rig like ours. We were initially only going to stay for 3 days but extended for another 2. Peaceful, well maintained, beautiful sun sets, plenty of wildlife and walking trails and the cheapest laundry we have encountered on our 3 months of travelling. Camp hosts are friendly and provided us with plenty of information about the surrounding area. They are also currently expanding the park and building more sites. Fantastic!

As previously reviewed the hospitality at this park is the best. Location is OK for an overnight but you have to be prepared for the I-20 highway noise!! This park is so close to the main interstate it is scary! The traffic noise does not stop 24 / 7! The park is full of permanent residents and has no atmosphere at all. The owners are lovely, the sights are level, but that is where it stops. If I was going to stay in Abilene again I would stay at another campground.

We had stayed at a Carefree Resort RV park in Fort Worth, so decided to stay at another in Austin. The staff was amazing, especially one gentleman who helped us set up our TV, even showing us were our antenna reset switch was located in our new 5th wheeler. The park is nice with level concrete pads. The only comment would be that the sites are a little close and the way out is a little convoluted. Like with most Carefree Resorts, there are a number of permanents living at the park, but they were all very friendly. We would definitely return and stay here again.

We booked ahead intending to stay here for 8 days but ended up leaving after 4, and lost our money for the remainder of our booking as there was a no refund policy. The staff is incredibly friendly and the on site store is very well stocked, but that is about all the positives we could provide. The park itself is all gravel (big gravel) so is not conducive to sitting outside: very uncomfortable. The park is predominately full timers and there was no community atmosphere at all. We are always up for a chat but did not speak one word to anyone else in the park, even when doing our laundry. (Laundry was nice and clean). Although conveniently situated between Fort Worth and Dallas, we would only recommend this park as a one night stop over if desperate, as there are plenty of others in the area.

This is the ultimate is RV Resorts, pool, hot tub, great office staff and very friendly fellow 'campers'. The park is beautifully maintained, all sites are landscaped and have level concrete pads. We stayed in site 621 which even has a BBQ enclosure. Fantastic. WiFi is a little slow, but with so much else to do and with the beach a short walk away it was not an issue. We would definitely recommend staying at this resort, we are just sorry we couldn't stay a little longer.

The price we paid was full price without buying the Texas state park pass for $70. There is a daily entrance fee to this park of $5 per person per day on top of the $25 a day fee. For the money I would not recommend this park. Yes, it is ocean front but very exposed to the elements, i.e., no trees for shade. It rained for the duration of our stay so the beach was pretty well a nonevent for us. The bathrooms are OK, but the hot water but could be a bit better maintained. Our check-in experience was not the best; the staff member was very abrupt and not very helpful. She was there to do a job but she had no passion. The park is a considerable distance from any shops or services. Sites do not have sewer hookup.

We felt like we had found utopia. Although there was no sewer hook up at our site this was a small price to pay for the magnificent views, spacious sites and friendly and helpful staff. This is a beautifully maintained park right on the lake and we were fortunate enough to jag a sunny day and a beautiful sunset. We stayed for four nights but would have stayed longer if the weather was a little kinder. The bathrooms are a little tired but the water is hot and are a great supplement when being a little conservative with your own water usage. Good dump station in the park.

This was our first experience at an RV Resort and we were very impressed. The front office staff were delightful, very friendly and helpful. The resort has a lovely pool and hot tub area as well as a games and function room. Laundry facilities were excellent, even an iron, not that we needed it, we have learned how to not iron your clothes when on the road! There are scheduled activities every day including a Canadian inspired breakfast on Saturday morning for a mere $5 per head. The resort is well maintained and the residents and travelers very friendly. We stayed at a Texas state park prior to this one and paid $35 a night there with only power and water hook up and no extras. The extra $7 a night was money well spent! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Park is a little out of town but is clean, staff are friendly and helpful, sites concrete pads and level. There is an RV parts store next door, we bought some spare parts which ended up not fitting our fifth wheeler. The staff at the RV park refunded our money for us as the store wasn't open on Sunday.

We stayed at Gulpha Gorge National Park Campground at the suggestion of the bar man at the Heart Break Hotel in Memphis. We were planning on staying at Little Rock however given his knowledge of the area decided to go with his recommendation. We were so pleased we did! We arrived to the friendly smile of the newly appointed camp volunteers who guided us to a well elevated site with full hook up. Once we were settled they came over to make sure we were settled in OK. The payment at this campground is via a vending type machine in the common room, something we hadn't encountered before. The campground is also open to day visitors with picnic tables along the rivers edge. The township of Hot Springs is an easy hike up and over the mountain, or you can obviously drive there as well. The friendly volunteers invited us to join them in the hike on the second day we were there. Being visitors from Australia we had been dreaming of a white Christmas and we certainly got our wish with 8 inches of snow falling on Christmas night! The only downfall was that the power went off due to trees falling across the power lines further up the road. Once again the volunteers checked in on everyone staying at the campground helping out where they could. After three days of no power we decided to pull up stumps and head off somewhere were we could dry out! The park was beautifully maintained and we would definitely recommend staying there.

This is really a hidden gem in Destin Florida. The park is off the main highway and doesn't have ocean views but it the cleanest, and most friendly park we have stayed at. We arrived in the dark and were greeted by staff who knew we were coming, did our paper work quickly and then guided us into our site with the aid of a flashlight. Don't get much better service than that. The park is relatively small but is kept immaculately. The laundry is spotless and has an exchange book section. It is a very short walk to beach, and who doesn't need a bit of exercise when traveling? Thank you again, you were the best host we have had. We will be back and will definitely recommend your gem in Destin to fellow travelers!

This park is a hidden gem in the middle of a semi industrial area. First impressions when we were driving into it were 'oh no way!' but once we got in through the gated complex our fears were allayed! The park is right on the waterfront and has a restaurant and a bar on site, a great place to meet fellow travelers. The sites are full hook up, quite, and level. Staff was so welcoming, showed us to our site and helped us back in. That was just the start. They also came by every morning and picked up our rubbish and even filled our propane bottle for us. Thank you mate! The shuttle bus takes you into the heart of the French Quarter and picks you up right where he dropped you off! The free hurricane Katrina movie is a must, enlightened us on why New Orleans flooded so badly. It was a great stay, thank you to all the staff for making our stay in New Orleans so memorable!

Graceland RV Park is a short walk through the car park to Graceland and is situated behind the Heart Break Hotel. The staff are wonderful, very helpful and gave us a great run down on all the attractions in Memphis. Shower blocks and laundry are spotless, and there is a gift store on site. Gracelands RV park? Thumbs up!!

We stayed in Vicksburg for 5 nights and found this RV Park, which is part of the greater Ameristar Casino, a great central place to stay at an extremely reasonable rate. The park has concrete slabs with full hook ups. The staff from first contact via the mobile phone to checking in and out were fantastic. Free coffee available in the reception area was an added bonus. The free shuttle bus to the casino is an excellent service, from the time of ringing to it being there to pick us up was about 3 minutes. We didn't eat at any of the restaurants at the casino but sat at the bar watching the NFL , once again the staff were very polite and welcoming . We would recommend this park predominately for people without children, there is no playground, not that that worried us in the slightest!
