Stayed as ROD. 1st impression was great until we saw how tight the sites were. At least we had one with a little breathing room. Not so much across the street. The amenities are very nice and the staff in the office could not be more helpful. If we wanted to join KM Resorts I think we would get one of the nice, wide, grassy sites in the lower section. Would stay again if not squeezed in a poor site. Otherwise, no.

One of our favs. Go paddling down the Little Deschutes right from the CG. Play disc golf with the wonderful new baskets. Drive into Bend. Park is beautiful and a great place to spend the summer. Only drawback is no sewer and the $25 charge for the honey wagon. We will definitely stay here again and again.

We were desperately tired and this was close to the freeway we needed for the next morning. Park seemed neat enough in the pull through section; not so much in the monthly section. Lots of tree shade in monthly section, but not so much in pull through area. It was HOT. elderly lady in office was nice enough. Cash only. $35 was with a discount. Good for overnight, but nothing longer.

Mixed feelings. Old park so sites are narrow. Some slideouts touch neighbors' awnings. River view was nice, but arm's length to next rig not so much. Dog walk is drive to river, which is chained. Was not about to drag kayak back and forth to river. Management very nice. Stayed as ROD. Will not stay again simply because the sites are too close for our comfort.

Rustic is how I would describe this park. Some awesome redwoods to see in the park. Interior roads are very bouncy for big rigs. We stayed as Enjoy America so payed much less than our neighbor. We asked for a satellite spot and they gave us one of the best in the park. Added $3 but that was okay. it was when they added $2 for my little dog that I didn't like. She said it was in the book, but it is not in the EA writeup. The park is at Confusion Hill. Don't miss it like we did. Would probably stay again.

Riverfront site with nice view. Very clean and well maintained park. Had great satellite clearance; decent Verizon phone, less decent air card reception. Kayaked down river and took out right at the park. This is a fishing camp with boat dock and cleaning stations. Would stay again, but not during fishing season. Why? The sites are pretty tight, especially with slides. We lucked out on our door side, but our neighbor did not.

Oregon does state parks right. This is so very nice. Walk to the beach. 3 nice trails close by. Sits along a creek. Have stayed here many times. If you want pull through hookups reserve it. We were surprised at how busy it was and that we lucked out and got an electric pull through site.

Nice campground, very treed. Got a satellite site this time, so really enjoyed the stay. Close to the dunes which is a + & -. You can hear all the ORVs, even though they have a noise ordinance for them. The only reason for the 7 is that it is so treed that some sites are a bit depressing because of being so dark. We would stay again, and have. This is our 4th visit.

Spent most of the summer here. This park is like camping. Spacious sites, not too close. Walk to the Little Deschutes River. Nice leash free areas for dogs to burn off energy. Lots and lots to do around here. One of our favorites.

What a nice park. Family owned and they take pride in maintaining this park. Fresh baked goods and coffee at morning social. For us, THE place to stay in Port Orford. Will plan on it next trip through.

Nice, clean RV park. Gravel with cement patios. Easy access. Stayed here in a 35 foot rig. Would stay again. Got to go check out the dining situation.

Very nice CG. Beautiful. Lack of shade will go away in 3 to 4 years as the trees get bigger. Pool clean and perfect temperature. Laundry very nice. Beautiful clubhouse. The restaurant has very good food and of course the winery. Will be definitely stay here again. We stayed as ROD.

We enjoyed this park for 2 nights in our MH. Close to Yuma for shopping before heading to Quartzsite. Volunteers very nice and friendly. Lots of empties so we did not feel the crowding. Imagine row by the office gets very tight. Nice long term spots. Close to activities and places to go. We would stay again. And yes, it's dusty. Hey, it's the desert.

Great state CG. Large sites with lots of room between neighbors. Views form the top row are just great. The only drawback is lack of shade, except for the table shelters. It was HOT so had to stay in the RV. Would stay here again in cooler weather.

Would give this CG a 10 except for the closeness of the sites. These are side by sides with little or no room for slide outs. The CG is old, built before all of our slide outs. We kept ours out partially. Given that, the setting is GORGEOUS and worth of the inconvenience. Reservations are highly recommended. The camp hosts were very helpful and friendly. We would stay here again. For sure.

Was Western Horizons, now Encore. The CG is clean with a very friendly manager. Beautiful clubhouse. Sites are TOO close together. If your neighbor parks between the two rigs, as we saw, you lose your sitting area. For us, this is a short-term stay park. The friendly atmosphere and clubhouse would bring us back. We stayed as ROD in a 35 footer.

Not our favorite national park campground. Don't care for these type of pull through setups. The sites are all pull throughs along the road. The road looks very crowed when the loop is full. I could not imagine being here in July with all sites full. It's pluses are: close to visitor center, restaurants, groceries, and the lake. We would probably stay again as we have a 35' MH and need the longer spaces. In all fairness, the campground may have been more appealing if it hadn't been raining so much.

We like to frequent state and national parks, so found this one after no luck in Logan. Nice campground on Salt Lake. Spacious sites, good pull throughs. Walked to the lake. Put the kayak in right on the beach. Convenient to shopping. Only drawback to this park is the incredible freeway noise. It is insidious. Stayed two nights. We would stay again even with the noise.

Nice owners. Only about 5 spots for overnighters, but if you like Mexican food definitely try to get here. The restaurant is on the premises and is very, very good. Quiet and away from city noise, unlike our last park. We would stay here again.

Nice park with open views. The only thing we don't like is the door to door parking. And, since the spaces aren't overly large, this meant you are 10 ft from your neighbor's door. Not too bad, but the fellow next to us tied his dog by our door. Our dog was NOT happy with that situation. We would stay again, but maybe ask for one of the treed sites, which are back-in singles.

Neat and clean campground. It is in town and close to shops and dining. Thought it was pretty pricey for what you get. Had parallel parking for pull throughs. Some big back in sites, but all were taken up by monthly guests. We have a 35' MH. Could not image a 40' in here. Measurement of sites is questionable. Train noise was not as bad as previous reviewers had mentioned. We would stay here again if we had to do laundry, etc.

Very nice city park. The one and only drawback is the freeway noise, but you get used to it. The park is lovely and well cared for, both in the campground and the surrounding park. We would definitely stay here again.

Favorite camping experience of the summer. Beautiful park with lots to do. Biking paths, hiking trails, lakes, boat rentals and Mississippi headwaters. Checked in for 1 night and stayed 4. Loved it. This park has moved into my top 5 nation wide. We are full timers.

Nice park and nice owner. Marked a 7 because the sites are uncomfortably close for us. And, you pay when you leave and we were not told about the added charges when we checked in. So ask. We asked what it would be when we checked out, but that's not what it was. We would stay here again.

Very nice CG and very popular. Were lucky to get a spot without a reservation. Close to town. Would stay here again, but maybe during the week.

Very nice park. Big, with lots of stuff to do. A bit of freeway noise, especially at night. Nice amenities. We paid $39 with our 15% Escapees discount. Rated it 7 because of freeway noise and traffic in the park in front of our rig. Lots of dust. Great view of the lake, though.

This would be a great family campground. Area set aside for tents and popups. Park like setting. Fishing pond. Don't know why it is not full. Added an extra day when we got here. Very quiet. Would stay again. The only reason for the overall 7 rating is the roads. Just go slow.

This is a beautiful campground. We had an excellent site where we got DirecTV. Great walking park. Manager very nice. Awesome clubhouse. Would love to stay here again.

Nice. Has large sites with lots of space between rigs. Good facilities: well maintained. One of nicer parks in the area. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful park. Very well maintained. Loved our stay. The only drawback is most of the best sites are taken by long term lease. Didn't use to be that way. Not a fan of that. But, enough sites available that we got a nice one.

A couple of past reviews are over the top. We stayed for 14 days. It rained a lot this year so the ground was pretty saturated. The park does need maintenance: lots. The pool is closed in the mornings and no key on site. Has to come from Batesville each day with the lifeguard. This could, and should, be a premium park. It is beautifully treed and lots of fishing opportunities. We would stay again. Felt our stuff was safe.

ROD park, so no fee, but he put $20 on receipt, so that must be what ROD is paying. Nice enough, but could be nicer. No water the first day. Got the well fixed our 2nd morning. Seemed like quite a few permanent residents. Would stay here again.

Stayed one night: they were full we could not get another day. Nice CG, close to attractions, shopping and dining. Dog friendly, but no where to let him off leash. Would stay again.

Nice overnight park. The host was very welcoming. Got here early and were the only ones, so this was a good place to let the dog off lead and run off some steam.

Very nice park. Paid for one night then decided on 2 nights. It's close to everything. Has a nice big dog area and very nice laundry facility. Used a Good Sam discount.

This campground is not out style. Sardine can is how the place is packed. It has beautiful facilities, but if you like views and space forget it. If you have a dog don't come here. All dog walking is outside the park. This park is for people who want to stay a while and do crafts, etc. If you don't have pets and just want to see the local sights it would be okay.
