Access to park is off Yellowhead Hwy (16) North through town of Hazelton. 50Km speed limit. Must cross awsome 1-lane bridge at bottom of hill on way in, so go slow. Park roads are all paved, with long pull-throughs. Sits right on Skeena River. This is a great campground, next to Ksan Village. Village and campground is part of Gitanmaax First Nations business effort. If you are traveling Highway 16, put this stop on your schedule; well worth it!
Park is a turn-off on Hwy 37A going into Stewart, next to road maintenance yard. This is a nice campground with gravel/dirt roads in park. Campsites are slightly elevated gravel and grass sites. Only 1 pull-through that I saw and only a pull-through if you drive through an empty site. No fires at campsite, unless dry camping. Has a common campfire area, with multiple fire rings. Free firewood for your use.
Average campground. Hard to get to: on a service road off the main highway. Had to go through a round-about to get onto service road. Sites were not clean. When full ,each level location has two sites, with RV's back to back.
Spaces were very small, packed in against next site. With a 38' rig, had to backup twice to make turns to get to site. Price was outrageous! Will not go back.
Overnight spot in the back section (over hill from Freeway). Quiet. Was a little tight getting in and out of the space. Overall, a good stop over location.
