We enjoyed this park, even though it was for only one night while in transit. It has level, clean, sites and is a friendly park, with trees. We would recommend it. There was good WiFi and Cable connections.
We spent the night here after 5 weeks of traveling around the country. It was clean, level and all the services were working (Wi-Fi, Cable). However, July in St George is HOT. I would recommend as an overnight during the summer.
Back in (all that was available) was tight. Wi-Fi needed help, as we never could stay on after struggling to get on. Lake walk well worth it. Lots of kids activities, and for the adults the Chuck Wagon made a pretty good Rib dinner on Saturday night. We would stay again; this time a one niter in transit.
I would highly recommend this if you can get a river site. I am not complaining about ours, interior, fairly level, easy hookups; even the lack of dump on site. What i am complaining about are once again pet owners that defy simple rules and endanger others. It is stated on the list of expectations that pets are to be kept on a leash. Twice when walking our dogs we had off leash dogs come at ours. It is simple folks, do as requested out of respect for others.
We would rate it higher if the WiFi and Cable lived up to expectations. Clean, level, easy hook up sites; but there are no trees. We stopped by for an over night and it was fine. The WiFi just would not work even though we were on top of signal and reported issues with front office - when we left it still did not work. The Cable TV ironically also had issues with very weak signal after trying everything including hooking up to site next to us.
We had a nice drive through with huge shade trees. It was fairly level. The laundry room was clean and the staff friendly. It is good for short extended stay. WiFi was not particularly efficient as afternoon produced sporadic service while in early morning it was easy to get on. We would recommend this campground.
A nice over night park, long term we would want more trees and 'softness' to the park. WiFi connection was not very good. There is no cable. The spot was spacious enough on lawn/gravel with full hookups and drive through. As we said, good an over night.
First - the park is better than a seven. But I can not give it more due to the following: 1. Very unlevel lot. 2. Wi-Fi too weak to be dependably usable. 3. Prime spots had no sewer connection. 4. No washer/dryer. 5. No restroom/showers. 6. No cable and very weak TV air signal. Back to the good - the park is beautiful and well maintained. Staff is friendly (I agree with the other reviewers, its all how you approach someone). Very quite. I would actually stay again due to the closeness to our son.
Overnight visit. Park is split with lots of trees on 'full timers' and no trees on short term stays. The most uneven of any park so far on our venture across the country. We liked this park for its convenience and for a short stay would absolutely stay here again. Staff was very friendly and welcoming, and enjoyed the popcorn after registering. Easy propane fill for either side of coach.
After claiming its close proximity to Historic Savannah, we stayed for a short visit; it is a pretty good drive back into town. Very tight as reported in other reviews. We found our site to be very unlevel and needed extra blocks to bring it up to standard. Propane obtainable only if tank is on right side of couch; ours is not. Outside staff friendly, inside staff ok.
Stopped in on an overnight visit. Nice park with lots of trees, fairly level and clean. Good overnight park. The staff was standofish, and we felt when we walked in for a question (twice) we were intruding. Otherwise would recommend overnight here.
It is not 'the season' in Ft. Pierce, but this park made it seem like it was. Of all the things I like and dislike, this was as close to perfect as possible. Flat, very well maintained, quite, and friendly staff. Would highly recommend a visit to this park. Can't wait to see it when the trees and vegetation are mature. Not the parks fault at all, but do watch out for fire ants - i found them. The staff did take care of them quickly.
Very nice park and what a big oak!! We parked near it, loved the shade. It is a great park for overnight. Very friendly. Lots of full/semi-full timers; but the grounds are well kept. We would stay here again.
For a 'City RV Park' close to its major attraction, you could not find better. Nice brick driveway, concrete pads, and well positioned and working hookups. Wifi worked extremely well for us. A true 10; stay here if you get a chance.
Very highly recommended. We stayed two nites, enjoyed San Antonio's River Walk which was very close by and liked the parks trees, asphalted drive ways and gravel pads. We run fans for white noise in the evening so was not upset by outside noise. The only reason for downgrade to an 8 was the that on our dog walks, (on leash), several of the long term residents had their dogs running free, and was charged twice. Hold on to those dogs and i would have given a 9.
Two of my favorite RV park items: Large trees to park under and concrete pad. The park is older as mentioned by other reviewers, and therefore large trees. Lots of full timers, that did not bother us. Overall, we were there in transit for one night and it was comfortable. Would stay again.
As mentioned by others, it is a giant parking lot, with very close together spots where we were (site 444). No picnic table. Dogs were allowed but signs and instruction not to use grass. I have a hard time with that, as the dogs make a larger mess that is harder to pick up on the gravel; also the grass was full of weeds and not pristine itself. Did not feel comfortable due to when we pulled in a lot of folks milling around the grounds and actually blocking our site along with the cars next to us blocking our backing in. Will not stay here again.
