This is a very nice campground - the front desk personnel were very friendly and helpful. It appeared that about one half the spaces were seasonal sites. The space we were escorted to was very treed and in an area surrounded by seasonal site visitors who were not there so we felt very lonely. We were staying for 4 days, so the next morning we asked to move. They picked a great site for us and guided us in. We met some great people and had a great time. I would highly recommend this park.
We have stayed here 3 years running on our return from the south. The owners are extremely friendly and are totally dedicated to their beautiful park and insuring that you enjoy your stay. The park is spotless - I don't know how they keep it so clean in early March. We use it for an overnighter and at this time of year I'm sure so does everyone there. Every license plate in the park was Ontario. Cable and Wi-Fi was great. Highly recommend this park.
This used to be a first rate park before Encore bought it a few years ago. We used to stay here every year 5 years running. Had not stayed since 2004. Came back this year to find the park models taking over. This is really Encore's business - selling park models and you get that feeling. We stayed a few days and moved to the KOA nearby. At the rate Encore is buying RV parks and converting them to park model parks, RV friendly parks will be harder to find in Florida.
Just a great park in a great location. It is expensive - ours was a premium site with beautiful table and chairs, chimalea, glider, patio, etc. The staff was very friendly. The standard sites all had concrete pads and patios, and I believe were $50. If you're looking for a great park close to Disneyworld and all Kissimmee has to offer, this is the place.
This park is a real mixed bag. Cable is great, Wi-Fi works well and the club house is very nicely furnished - pool table, card tables, TV, computer, kitchen etc. They have a super store on site. On the other hand, they have a nice pool, but not heated - early March and too cold to use. Some sites contained permanent trash trailers and other sites were occupied by transient workers. The location is great, right across the street from a beautiful beach. I think the owners have to decide what they want their park to be - an park for RV travelers who want good facilities and will pay for them or transient worker park who just want a place to plunk their trailer.
This park is really first class. There are countless well organized activities and everyone is very friendly. If you have a dog this is the place. The dog run is spotless - everyone cleans up after their pets and it must be two blocks long. It is fenced and they even supply bags and water. I would definitely give it a 10 except for the internet. They say they are working on it, but it is very inconsistent - if you must have internet, you will have to take your lap top to certain locations in the park.
