If you are looking for a destination park this is not it. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing atmosphere, stay here. We stayed for two weeks. The owners are fabulous people. The park is grass with gravel sites. Hook-ups are easy to use, cable was great, Wi-Fi works fairly well. Very clean and tidy park. There are some long term residents but you hardly knew they were there and their sites were kept very tidy. Lots of grass for walking the dog. Near Paris for supplies and some interesting sites. I loved this park.
I believe this is a newer park and perhaps just getting started. The sites are not very level. In fact we had a difficult time leveling our 38' RV for the first time. The park manager who I spoke to on the phone was very friendly and told us to take the spot we liked when we arrived. I checked in via paper outside the front door as there was nobody in the office. This is not a destination park and there are no playgrounds for children. There are three fenced pet runs which, along with the location, is one of the reasons we choose this park. There are a couple of gas stations and some fast food nearby but no grocery stores that I could locate. The park is a diamond in the rough but really needs some work.
Love this park. Quiet and lots of places to walk the dog. The river is beautiful and close by. Close to town. Gravel sites with grass. Water pressure is not great and the location of the utilities was very odd. Certainly not a deal-breaker in this lovely park. I read some negative reviews about this park but they all seemed to center around some rule the writer broke and was called on. I would stay here again.
Nice enough park. Very busy during our mid-week stay. Water pressure was very low at times. Sites are grass and gravel with paved roads. Limited places for pet walking. I really didn't understand the high ratings.
