This is a pretty nice campground. There is a steep incline to most of the sites but our site (A3) was very wide and spacious. There wasn't a lot to do there since it was April. The pool was closed, the arcade was also. The Cavern's were really neat to see. If there were more onsite amenities, cable TV, better WiFi, we may have gave a 9 or 10. Lots of construction going on as I could see they are trying to do major improvements. We will be back.

Nice place as a stop over for us on our way to the OBX. The sites were small and a little tight but was okay. Nice bathhouses.

Stayed here five nights. Really nice place. Since it was early spring, the campground was only about a third full. We stayed on the ocean side but the sound side looked just as good. Bath house was showing its age, but clean. I would have given it a "10" but the water was strange smelling. I would advise bringing bottled water to cook and drink.
