We stayed in this park overnight and found the sites to be level and adequate for our 35 ft 5th wheel. We did not need to unhook and were able to reach all amenities. We arrived while the office was closed for lunch but we saw the cook from the cafe, and he came and helped us find our site. When the office opened, the clerk was extremely friendly and welcoming. We went to the cafe for dinner and found the food to be excellent, the price very reasonable, and the waitress very friendly and helpful. We only stayed overnight but will probably stay for several nights on our way home.

We stayed here on recommendation of friends due to it being close to the caverns. The man doing the check in gave us no information except a site number. We were unable to get into the assigned site and had to go back to change sites. The sites are extremely narrow and require careful planning to get in, miss the roof of the cover on the picnic table, and still have room to open slides. Electric, water, and sewer worked well. Wi-Fi was very weak and sporadic. Price was higher than we have paid for overnight before. We would not stay here again. Next time we'd drive from Carlsbad to the caverns.
