Great place to spend the night, but more would be a waste. Not a lot to do and no cable TV. There is goofy golf and chasing the rabbits, but the steak house next door is a 10. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The sites are real nice, wide and long. I would tell all my friends about High Plains. There isn't much between KC and Denver and would stay here again.

Pleasant Valley is a GREAT RV park. The only thing that keeps it from being a 10 is that there is no cable. The temp. is great with a nice afternoon cloud cover that really keeps it cool. The staff and RVers are friendly and always have something going on. Your just a few steps from the Arkansas River which is a real plus for the fishermen. I'm thinking about coming back next year and staying for a month or two. I would tell any and everybody that this is a great park with a great location. If ya have kids, you might wanna keep on traveling.

The park is nice, asphalt roads, concrete slabs, strip of grass, cable TV, but it stops there. The Wi-Fi was a pain and no one knew how to fix it. The price was a bit on the high side for what they didn't have. I was a bit upset with the whole thing. I don't think I would stay here again and I would advise my friends to find another park in the St. Louis area.

Walnut Grove is a nice and friendly park. I was a bit leery of coming here because of reading other reviews about the size of sites. . . But my 37 foot 5er was no problem. There are 6 0r 7 pull-throughs that accommodate much larger size RVs. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Very quiet except for the thunder storms. The only reason I didn't give it a 10 was there was no cable TV. Only a few miles from Downtown Kansas City. Just a little FYI, fuel up in Missouri as well as libations on the Missouri side also. I would suggest Walnut Grove to everyone and we will come back again.

Location, location, location. This park was great, the staff was great and they have a horseback tour of the battle field with a tour guide. You can rent a CD that will take you on a 3 hour tour of the battle grounds in the privacy of your car. We stayed 2 nights but should have stayed 4. You are close to the town of Gettysburg and the Visitor Center. Nice big swimming pool and playground for the kids. My wife and I were very happy with the park and we would stay again.

This is a Diamond in the rough. A small site that has 8 30amp and 1 50amp sites. The town is a small farming community so don't expect the foo-foo that you will get else where. The community swimming pool is 50 yards away. Spaces are first come, first serve. The cost of $10.00 a night is the best deal around. It is right next to the City Park, which has restrooms. It's not for everyone but for one night, you can't go wrong. I would recommend it to everybody and go back in a COUNTRY minute.

What a GREAT RV Park. Don't give too many 10's but this one gets one. Close to everything, food, fuel, entertainment and the on ramp to I-80. Spent a couple of days here and had a spot, like most others, with trees to hold back the heat from the sun. North Platte is a train buffs dream since it's a train town. The Park folks and the town people were very friendly. Lots to do for the kids, within walking distance. I will go back and would tell everyone to go to this park, so clean.

Looked everywhere on RV Park Review and didn't find anything in eastern Colorado that was a worth a hoot. Found Shady Grove and thought we should give it a try. Seibert is a town that is going through hard times but is still holding it's own. Shady Grove is a nice campground that is trying to live on. The people at the park and town are very nice. The Park was darn near full and no complaints. The above ground pool was clean but stated that you will "SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK" so parents, go with your kids. I would go back and tell my friends about it.

What a delightful little Park. While the rest of the west was cooking, it was cool and beautiful. It's located on the boarder of Colorado & New Mexico at an altitude of 7800 ft. Very clean and helpful folks. Great place to stay and I would go back in a heart beat.

Nice campground, very clean and the hosts were very nice and helpful. Fortunately, it was a bit on the hot side so we had the AC running which "helped" to hold down the noise of the train, or maybe I should say TRAINS. Other than the noise, it was a nice park and I would go back but with ear plugs. I now carry ear plugs with me and I would suggest it to others.
