This is a very nice park, located less than a mile off the Kansas Turnpike. The staff was very friendly and the restrooms were absolutely spotless. WiFi worked well. Only "negative" for me was the location of the sewer hook-up in the site I was assigned. There is a big WalMart about 1/4 mile away.

This park was conveniently located to I35 for a 1-night stopover. The road into the park was very dusty. My site was long and wide, and it had 50 amp service. The WiFi was very slow. The overall appearance of the place is a bit shabby, but the staff was friendly. I would not want to stay here long, but given the reasonable rate, I considered it a fair value.

I spent two nights at this park. Park host was very friendly and allowed me to select a site and get hooked up before registration. Pull-through site was long enough for my motorhome and toad, and it was easy to get in and out of. Hook-ups were well-placed and worked fine. Plenty of open sky for my satellite dome. Wi-Fi was fast, but was not secured with a password. Park accepts cash and personal checks, but no credit cards. Have stayed here before and would stay again.

I stayed one night at this campground. The staff was very friendly. I was given one of the long pull-through sites in the newer area of the park. The hook-ups seem to be positioned for trailers, as they were near the rear of the site. Because I had a motorhome and toad, I ended up disconnecting, so I could position the motorhome closer to the hook-ups. It was not a problem for me, as I needed to run an errand in the toad. But for those wanting to keep the toad attached, it might be an issue. Lack of tall trees allowed my satellite TV to work just fine. Only other issue was the Wi-Fi, which, at times, was so slow, it was unusable.

I stayed here as a one-night stopover. My pull-through site was level and easy to get in and out of. Staff was friendly and restrooms were exceptionally clean. i would have rated the park a 10, except for issues getting a good connection on the Wi-Fi, which required several calls to Tengo Internet. I finally got connected and received a good signal. I would definitely consider staying here again.

When I first pulled into this park and realized after only being a few feet into the driveway and was going to have to unhook my toad before proceeding, I thought I had made a big mistake coming here. However, once I got situated in a spacious site at the bottom of the hill and spent some time getting acquainted with the owners, I was glad I was there. This park has been in the same family for over 60 years. The information about the local area provided me made my visit to this region of Massachusetts a real delight. The only real drawback (other than initially getting into my site) were the trees that blocked my satellite reception. However, Wi-Fi worked well. Given the limited choice of campgrounds in this area, I would definitely consider staying here again.

This park worked great for me while visiting Maine. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My long pull-through site was located at the rear of the park, where there is plenty of space and no trees to block my satellite dome. The location made day-trips to Bar Harbor and even up to Campobello Island very convenient. The daily rate made it a good value. Laundry facilities were great. The only improvement I might suggest is a second restroom in the back area, as the only restroom is located quite a ways from there. I would definitely stay here again

This park worked fine for me as a one-night stopover. Large, level, gravel sites. Park was largely empty, so was very quiet. Wi-Fi worked fine. For a park that caters to over-55 campers, I was amused to find so many reminder signs everywhere, as if the park was actually catering to small children. Would stop here again if in the area.

I stayed here as a one-night stopover. Park was easy to access. My site was wide, level and allowed for easy satellite reception from my dome. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They have a well-stocked store. I would definitely consider staying here again.

I stayed here 3 nights while exploring the Monterey peninsula. The paved site accommodated my motorhome and toad just fine. Yes, the sites are a bit narrow, but as I only have one slide, it was not a problem for me. Staff was very friendly and laundry was reasonably priced and worked well. My only complaint was the Wi-Fi, which was not as fast as some other parks. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Rate reflects water/electric pull-through site. As a solo RVer this park had things I didn't need/desire (pool, petting zoo, etc.) and the things I really wanted (decent WiFi and ability to use my satellite dome (too many trees.) Since I could not use my satellite, I opted for the included cable, but picture was very fuzzy on all channels. The staff tried to be accommodating, but the park was so busy, they had a hard time keeping up. Maybe this is a good "destination" park for families with kids, but for me it was not the quiet camping I enjoy. Given the price, I think I would avoid this park in the future. It failed to deliver on what is important to me.

I'm glad I did not read the recent reviews of this park, because I would probably not have stopped. For me, this park worked great as a one-night stopover. It was located close to I-5 and easy to find. I arrived after the office closed, but they had a very thorough and easy-to-understand check-in process. The pull-through site I selected was just around the corner from the office and accommodated my RV perfectly. The site was level and the Wi-Fi worked just fine. The only issue was the sewer connection, which was too far to easily hook up. I remedied that problem by using the dump station as I was leaving. I would definitely stop here again if I was in the area.

Rate reflects water/electric pull-thru site with KOA discount. I stayed here one night while touring Olympic National Park. This is definitely the worst KOAs I've ever been to. Grass/dirt sites, inadequate restroom capacity for the size of the park, and overall shabby appearance made me glad I was only there as a stopover. The one saving grace was the excellent Wi-Fi-- fast and reliable. I would probably not stay here again.

I stayed at this park for 6 nights while visiting friends in the Tacoma area and took a day trip to Mount Rainier NP. I was surprised when I made my reservation that they do not take credit cards-- only cash or check. The initial site they put me in had trees blocking my satellite dome. Fortunately, they had another space in a more "open" section on the park. Staff was very friendly. Wi-Fi worked OK. Restrooms and laundry were clean. On their website they seem to be concerned about the appearance of visitor's RVs and asked that they be no older than 15 years. I was surprised when I arrived with the number f considerably older RVs. It did not bother me. Apparently, they aren't as fussy as their website would indicate. I would consider staying here again.

I stayed here one night while traveling. I did not have a reservation, and the site I got was 30 amp only. Not sure if they have 50 amp, but as it was not that hot. I got by with 30 amp. The restrooms were spotless. The staff was very friendly. My pull-through site allowed me to keep my toad connected, which was very convenient. My only complaint was the slow Wi-Fi. Not sure if this was a provider problem, as Monticello is a small town. I would definitely consider this as a future stopover.

This park was great for my one night stopover. My pull-through site was long enough so I didn't have to disconnect my toad. It was also easy to get into and out the next morning. Staff was friendly and helpful. The Wi-Fi worked fine and the restrooms were very clean. I would definitely stay here again.

Staff was very friendly and helpful about the area. Site was level and easy to get in and out of. My only issue during my stay was with the laundry, as the washer I chose worked very slowly. I was told the next morning they were having problems with that washer. It would have been nice to know ahead of time with a sign on that washer. Other than that one issue, I enjoyed my stay.

I stopped here as a one-night stopover while touring Colorado. This is quite a facility, with one area designated a "resort" and the other an RV park. My pull-through site was huge for my rig. I arrived after the office had closed, but the camp host was very helpful in directing me to a vacant site. Wi-Fi initially did not work, but Ethernet was available for my laptop until Wi-Fi worked again. This park was a little "over-the-top" for me in terms of its facilities, but was OK for one night. Given the pristine surroundings, the restrooms were not as "spotless" as I might have expected. Nevertheless, I would consider staying here again.

I stayed at this campground as a one-night stopover while traveling through Colorado. The campground hosts were both friendly and helpful. The site was easy to get in and out of and the electrical hook-up worked fine. The vault toilets were very clean. There are no showers at this campground. I would have stayed longer and explored the hiking trails had it not been for the rainy weather. This is a very scenic and quiet park. I would definitely consider camping here again,

I stayed here two nights while exploring the Enchanted Circle area of New Mexico. The owners were very friendly and provided a lot of helpful information about the area. My campsite was level and easy to get in and out of. The bathroom was absolutely spotless. The Wi-Fi was not only exceptionally fast, but very secure. The owners set up your computer initially, and you're good to go for your stay. The setting is very scenic and park is very quiet. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to the area.

This was an overnight stopover for me. I arrived after the office closed, but the after hours sign-in process was very clear. I chose one of their "value full hook-up" spots, which was shorter than others, but not a problem for my rig. The park was not very busy, so it was quiet. My space was easy to find and get into. My only complaint was the wi-fi, which seemed much slower than at other KOAs I've stayed at recently. As I was heading south, the fact that this park was on the south side of Louisville meant I did not have to cope with traffic when I left the next morning. I would consider staying here again

I used this park as an overnight stopover. The staff was very helpful. Sites are a little tight. The park was very crowded with families and activities for kids. Hook-ups and Wi-Fi worked fine. I would consider staying here again.

I used this as an overnight stop, so I did not spend much time there. My site was easy to get in and out of and although the park is convenient to the Interstate, it was quiet. Staff was very pleasant. I would definitely consider staying here again.

I spent two nights here and found the park to be suitable for my needs. Plenty of shade, reasonably quiet and convenient to Lansing. Wi-Fi worked well. Staff was pleasant. Would consider staying here again on my next visit to the area.

I stopped here as an overnight stop. On the afternoon I arrived it was 107 degrees, but the friendly staff made sure I had a shady spot, as the park was almost empty. Just before sundown I toured the main part of the old fort, which was interesting. I was disappointed that there was no Wi-Fi, as so many Texas State Parks now offer it, I guess I considered it a given. I was able to pull in a couple of TV channels over the air. As others have reported it is a beautiful and quiet park, I would consider staying there again. Hopefully, at a cooler time of the year.

I spent two nights here while in the Big Bend area. The sites are large and easy to get in and out of. The WIFI worked great and the restrooms/showers were exceptionally nice and clean. While I normally stay at Davis Mountains State Park, this is certainly a worthy alternative. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

As a frequent Big Bend National Park visitor, I have stayed here on many occasions over the past 4-5 years. This year I was pleasantly surprised by the new WiFi booster that allows me to use my computer in my travel trailer. It is probably the best WiFi performance I've had at any RV park. And, considering that you can't get a cell phone signal here, it's pretty impressive! You won't meet any nicer people anywhere (campers and staff) than you will meet at this park. I have developed some close friendships over the years and now consider this place like a second home. One camper compared their experience here to being at summer camp. No, it's not the fanciest place, but it is honest and fun. As many of us often remark, people either "get it" or they don't. The ones that do are rewarded with an incredible camping experience.

I've stayed at this campground on several occasions. It is centrally located to Mustang Island/North Padre Island area. As others have mentioned, it is basically a large parking area with water and electric hookups. It is easy to access sites. Staff is very friendly and the campground is reasonably quiet. While no cable TV is available, I was able to receive over-the-air broadcasts from several local stations. WiFi worked better this trip than in the past and AT&T cell signal was typical for AT&T. Showers are a bit "tired," but this is a beach park. Restrooms were very clean. I would definitely stay here again.

I pulled into this park late in the evening for an overnight stay after seeing a sign on I-35W. While there was no one at the office (it was after 11 PM) a packet was available instructing me which site was available, a registration form and payment envelope which made for an easy check-in. As others have indicated this park has no restrooms or showers. I found out the next morning that it was originally set up as a mobile home park and is gradually evolving into an RV park as well. My space was roomy and easy to back into. Hookups worked fine. This park is very quiet and has nice landscaping. The brochure indicated that WiFi was available near the office, but I did not try to use it. I would definitely consider staying here again.

This campground had a very friendly staff and the restrooms were spotless. My campsite was technically a "pull through," but was extremely tight to get in and out of, even for my 21' travel trailer. The site was also not level. While I would consider staying here again, I think I might check out some of the other parks first.

This campground sits right on the Llano River and features spacious sites much more spread out than one typically finds at KOA. Large trees scattered throughout the park provide ample shade. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. WiFi worked much better than what I typically experience. Although my stay was just a one night stopover, I would definitely stay here again.

Even though this campground is basically a parking lot, the scenery and easy access to many of the hiking trails make this a nice place to camp. Sites are level and easy to get in and out of. Camp host was very pleasant. Wi-Fi is available at the visitor's center, about a half mile away, and my AT&T cell phone worked. Restrooms with running water (but no showers) are close by. A threaded water spigot is available to fill your fresh water tank, but no dump station. Come prepared, as the closest gas, ice, and groceries are in Whites City, NM, about 30 miles up the highway. I have camped here several times before and will definitely return.

This is a very well-maintained campground with level sites. Sites are arranged side-by-side and relatively close together, but not a problem for me. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Although it is convenient to major thoroughfares, it is reasonably quiet. I would definitely consider staying here again.

This park is typical of the high general quality of Texas State Park campgrounds. It made a nice overnight stop coming home from Big Bend National Park, although I have toured this park on a previous trip. Sites are spread out and quiet. Wi-Fi worked well, and I was able to get a good signal on my AT&T cell phone. Although I arrived late in the afternoon, camp host was very accommodating. Will definitely stay here again.

The rate shown reflects a daily rate for less than 1 week. Pay this rate for 6 nights and receive the 7th night for free. I spent 15 nights at this wonderful campground near the northern entrance to Big Bend National Park, 6 miles east of US 385 on RR 2627. What this park lacks in frills it more than makes up for in the exceptional personalities of the owners, staff and campers who come here from all over the country year after year to enjoy the beauty of the area and the company of each other. Nightly live music, singing, regular visits from interesting "locals," the February trail ride, complete with chuck wagon meals and a dance, not to mention Nan's famous burritos, all add up to an incredibly unique experience.
