Nice well kept park with friendly helpful staff. Just what we expect when using KOA campgrounds. Close to shopping and tourist areas. Cell phone and Verizon air card had very strong signal. The cable TV was a pleasant diversion on a rainy night. The only reason I did not rate a 10 is because it is a bit tight for maneuvering with a big rig. We stayed in a 37 foot RV. We got around okay but had to be very careful not to hit some of the trees that were on corners. We would certainly stay here again.

Campground is right on the Ocean with pretty views of the tidal river. Campsites are large and very easy to negotiate. Staff was cordial not friendly but the location more than makes up for it. There are no restroom facilities, all sites are full hookups only. It is a bit noisy because the sites are near a drawbridge and the many passing cars make a lot of noise as they pass over the expansion panels. The boat traffic is interesting though. We would likely return again.

Nice clean park conveniently located about 7 miles from Acadia and Bar Harbor. Staff was friendly and helpful. Fees are high but park is right on the ocean with gorgeous views. Our site was ocean front so did not have a sewer hookup. The only issue I had was that the shower stalls were a bit small and hard to get dressed in. We stayed in a 37 foot RV and roads and sites easy to negotiate. We would return to this campground.

We stayed here for a month. The staff was friendly and helpful. Park easy to negotiate with our 37 foot 5th wheel. There are many permanent residents here but they keep to themselves and are for the most part friendly and quiet. The sites are a bit tight but not terrible. 50 Amp service was reliable and steady. Our Verizon phone and air card worked really well. There were quite a few loud vehicles frequently going in and out of the park but settled down at night. We would stay here again short or long term.

Typical KOA in that it is meticulously maintained and a helpful friendly staff. Park is easy to get to. Sites a bit cramped and tight but not too bad to negotiate. They have a restaurant that was much appreciated as we got in late and didn't feel like cooking. Overall this is a very nice park for an overnight or two.

Convenient to highway but not too noisy. Park in need of maintenance, but relatively clean and quiet. Would stop again for an overnight.

Everything about this park is good, especially this time of year. We didn't see the fire ants that a previous poster mentioned. It must have been too early in the season.

This is a very nice and well cared for RV park. I agree with the other posters who said the sites were a bit tight. I have a 36 foot fifth wheel and was able to maneuver ok, but the site itself was not long enough for the truck and trailer. The place was almost completely full and the spaces are tight side to side. This is one of the quietest parks we have ever stayed in. The staff was friendly and helpful and for a fee they will let you wash your truck and trailer, which I did. We would return here. Wal-Mart and restaurants are close by. Our cell phones and air card work okay.

Friendly host and very well kept park. Easy to get in and out and to park big rigs. Everything here was squeaky clean and neat. The only drawback is that you really are right next to the highway and it is noisy. It did quiet down at night but you could still hear every car that when by. Lots of folks wintering over here I think. We would stay here again if we had to.

Convenient to but not too close to the interstate. Sites were generous and plenty of room to negotiate. Staff was very friendly and everything was well kept and clean. Our price reflects the Passport America discount. Would stay here again.

Nice park, well laid out with ample room between sites. Easy to negotiate our back in site. Staff was friendly and casino with good restaurants was an easy walk away or a shuttle is provided as well. I thought it would be noisier due to the closeness of the casino but it was fairly quiet at night. We stayed here 2 nights and would stay again. It is also an easy drive from I-10 and there is allot to see in the area.

This place was very convenient off I-20 exit 208. It is a brand new campground and a work in progress. They were putting in cable TV while we were here and it looks like it will be finished soon. The sites are easy to negotiate and our Verizon cell phone and air card worked well. This is a good park for an overnight stay. The only drawbacks are that the highway is quite loud and the whole place is gravel and so very dusty when there are cars driving through the campground. The staff is very friendly and they are also an RV dealer so they could do repairs and have parts and supplies.

Great park a little off the beaten path. Beautiful waterfront sites with easy access, wide roads and nice pull through sites that have generous spacing and lots of trees in between. Cell signal and Verizon air card worked. Friendly staff, lots of wildlife. Would stay here again.

This is a nice, well kept park with a very friendly staff. The sites are large and easy to get in and out. The whole park is gravel and so could be a bit dusty. The cable TV was great. It's very handy to historic Mt Airy. Wal-Mart and other shopping is close by. We had great service on our Verizon phone and air card. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice, well kept campground. There are allot of sites here so it would be hectic and noisy if full. We were here with just 2 other campers. Staff was friendly and the store is well stocked. Shopping is close by. Camp Wi-Fi worked good. Tons of stuff for kids to do. I needed my antenna and amplifier for my Verizon air card. My Verizon phone worked but the signal was a bit weak. Park is easy to get to and maneuver but sites are fairly close together. I'm glad no one had a campfire going in the next site. We would stay here again for an overnight.

This is a well maintained campground that was very easy to find and far enough away from traffic that it was very quiet. The staff was friendly. There are grocery stores, fuel, Wal-Mart and K-Mart close by. Our Verizon phone and air card worked well and we had a nice clear site for our satellite dish. We had a back in site that was easy to get our 36' 5ver into, and we could have had a pull through if we wanted. This campground was recommended to us by a friend and we would stay here again.

This is a beautiful campground right on the ocean that we have camped in many years in a row. We shortened our stay here because it is too expensive. It seems like they are behind on their maintenance as the grass was quite long and the picnic tables were in poor shape. They are short handed so the wait in the office was longer than it should be. I'd hate to see it when they were busy. I also don't like the resort fee they tack on to your bill. The staff was courteous but not friendly. We won't stay here again, it's really too bad.

This campground is okay for an overnight stop. It is very conveniently located and there are food stores and Wal-Mart nearby. It is a typical RV parking lot but with quite a few that looked like long term or permanent residents. The park manager is a little old lady who can't come to you so you have to call and then go to her trailer. The lack of security and the group that was outside drinking until late made us a bit uneasy but the night went without incident. We would most likely seek out another campground if we returned to the area.

This is a nice state park that is clean and quiet. We didn't need reservations to camp here, but it seems the reservation system is a little strange. If you don't plan to spend more than 2 days here then a reservation probably is not needed. There is no water or sewer at the sites so you need to fill your fresh water tank as you pull in. There is 30 amp electric at most sites and for the most part they are easy to back into. We would stay here again for an overnight or two, but there is really nothing much to do in the area unless you are visiting family like we were, or had some business at the base.

Another nice state park. The ride over through Salt Canyon was spectacular and would make a nice day trip from the park. We did a day trip to the Petrified forest national Park. Fool Hollow is on a nice lake with walking paths around it. Lots of wildlife to see too. The place was super clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. The town of Show Low was very nice.

This is a neat and clean, well run state park. San Soloman Springs is a great swimming hole, the water is clean and warm. The park itself is a typical desert park with well spaced level sites. We probably wouldn't spend more than single night here but we would return.

This is a clean, quiet Passport America park with a very friendly staff. It's close to the train tracks but we didn't hear the trains after 8:00 pm. It's a short drive from I-40 and there is a Wal-mart and gas stations a short drive on the same road. The sites are mostly level and easy to get in and out of. We would recommend this park as an overnight stop and would stay here again.

This is the nicest state park we have ever been to. It is clean, well run, and very scenic. There are trails for hikes, bikes, and horses. The campsites were roomy and easy to get into. The canyon itself is gorgeous. The only cell phone that will work at the canyon camp sites is ATT. We had internet access with our Verizon air card after we hooked up our Wilson Trucker Antenna. This park is so nice we stayed an extra day.

This is a decent park but well off the beaten path and not much to do unless you have a boat and fish. It was clean and quiet and a good stop over for one night.

You can't beat the price for one of the more scenic campgrounds there is. The Valley of Fires is beautiful and they have a couple of nice nature walks around the park. We drove to Ruidoso Downs and it was a great scenic drive over the mountains and canyons. The town of Nogal was on the way and it was an interesting, well kept western town. Ruidoso Downs is a nice town with good shopping and a Wal-Mart.

This is a very nice state park with scenic views through out. It is handy to shopping and restaurants. There is good hiking here, and Saguaro NP is close by. The staff was friendly and helpful and the park was easy to get to. We would stay here again.

This is the friendliest park we have stayed at. We got invited to a bluegrass jam and we sang and played with the group for about 3 hours. The park itself is a typical desert RV park. It was clean, the roads were gravel and wide, and the sites were roomy and easy to park in. We would definitely return to this park.

This is another fantastic Texas State Park. Well run, clean and has friendly staff and campers. The lake is beautiful and peaceful with some wildlife roaming around. We had a great lakeside site, and it is close to Seminole Cavern State Park so we did the cavern tour too. It's a nice park to just go out and walk around. Our Verizon air card worked great, but neither our Verizon or Sprint cell phones worked here.

This is a very nice park, right on the Gulf. The staff was friendly and the grounds were well kept. It's handy to the Aransas Refuge which was very interesting. We were able to choose waterfront (the park would have loaned us fishing gear), or wooded. We opted for wooded as we didn't want to deal with the strong onshore winds. The wooded sites were well spaced and easy to back into. So far, we are very impressed with the Texas State parks.

This is a nice, well kept RV Park. The roads are wide and the sites are easy to negotiate, and level. It is easy to find and get to. They have a nice dog walk area along the lake, and it is very convenient to Johnson Space Center, The Boardwalk, Wal-mart and Houston. The park host was very friendly and gave us allot of info. The only negative is that there is no shade anywhere. We would stay here again.

This is a typical KOA campground in that it was clean and well kept. The office lady was cordial but not overly friendly. The roads and sites were a bit tight but not a big problem. This campground is extremely close to I-30 and it is very noisy at all hours. There is massive construction all around on I-30 making it very difficult for us to find our way around, the GPS was useless. If you stay on I-30 it's okay, but venture off and you may spend allot of time trying to get back on track. I would not go back here again until the construction is completed, it is really a mess. This is no fault of the park of course.

This is a very nice, well kept COE park. We had a waterfront site and water views on all sides. This would be a great place if you liked to fish, bike, or boat. We only had electric hookups at our site but that was ok with us. It is quite a ways off the beaten path, but worth the extra effort if you like big spacious sites and peace and quiet.

This is a great park with lots to do. The lake is beautiful and the dam is amazing. You can ride your bikes around the park, rent a boat, fish or hike. Shiloh Military Park is 20 minutes away and the town of Savannah about the same. The staff was friendly and helpful and so were the other campers. The inn has a great all you can eat buffet that is cheap and they run it for 3 meals every day. We would definitely return here to camp. We stayed here 3 days.

This is a nice, well run RV park. The staff was friendly and helpful and even arranged for our Opry tickets as well as a bus ride to the Opry. It was neat and clean and reasonably quiet, considering it's location. Camping World is next door and there are restaurants just down the road. I would highly recommend this park if you are visiting Nashville in your RV. We would stay here again.

This is a very nice, well kept and managed park. The managers and staff were friendly and helpful and they enforced the rules which we liked. It is located close to Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountains National Forest. The sites are a bit close to the road, so noise could be an issue but it died down pretty good at night so it wasn't an issue for us. We would stay here again.

This is a Passport America Campground so we only paid twenty dollars to stay here. It was a very nice park and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The sites were big and easy to get in and out of. We were able to get a good signal for our satellite. Our Verizon Air card was a bit slow. We would definitely return to this park.

A nice campground, very well kept and clean. It was Saturday night and they were busy but things quieted down at night. Staff was friendly. We would stay here again.
