Campground location was nice, close to good food and Amish farms. Most sites and large pool had corn field views. We had last available site and bordered a property with a bit of junk on it. Only about a half dozen sites were like that. Bathrooms were very clean. Nice little store and game room. We would stay there again when in area.
Nice campground, the workers we met were very nice. We camped here with our 2 kids. Goats were nice touch for the kids. Bathrooms were clean. Sites a little close and not real level. We enjoyed our stay and would return.
The only thing at this campground that there isn't an extra charge for is to take a walk. If your child catches a fish they say you have to keep and and pay for it, most of the listed activities had a charge!! Pool closed at 8:00 before the sun set! Rest rooms were adequate. If money is no object and you have kids that you want to be kept busy this probably is a good campground. There were some nice sites in the upper part of campground but it is a bit far from the pool and store.
As other post have stated good campground if visiting Kings Dominion, but also as stop on long trip north or south as it is right off the highway. Shuttle a plus if you are patient. The workers were pleasant to us during our stay. Restrooms were just OK, big pool but could use a vacuum and a little less chlorine. Good store and game room. Some sites were actually fairly large.
Very clean campground. Spotless rest rooms. Nice helpful owners. Not near downtown Gatlinburg attractions but worth the 15-20 minute drive. Kids enjoyed the campground but wished they would have had a game room. We didn`t hear traffic noise from our site. We had a flat on our trailer the day we were leaving, one of the workers recommended a garage 1 mile away. The garage fixed it ($8) in about an hour and we were on our way.
