Very clean state park. The restrooms and showers were immaculate. Big sites that were easy to get in and out of with our 34' motorhome and toad. Only a few miles off from I-90. Great place to spend a quiet night on our long trip out west. Would stay here again if we come this way. Price reflects a $5 state park pass fee.
Easy access to I-90. VERY windy setup. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Clean campground and nice laundry facility. The kids enjoyed the pool. Most attractions were between 30-60 minutes away. I would probably try to find something more centrally located to the big attractions if we were to stay here again.
Sites are kind of tight, but doable. Location is great, pretty central to everything. Water pressure was good. Some issues with power surges. We were in the A loop and were able to get sat coverage. 34' motorhome, dolly and Ford Taurus fit on the site fine. Would stay here again.
Nice campground close to the action of the Dells, but not too close. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our back in site was pretty nice, lots of trees and fairly level for our 34' coach and toad. The kids loved the pool. Would certainly consider staying here again. (I forgot the rate we paid, so ignore what I entered.)
Nice convenient location. As others have posted, the road leading into the park is dirt and looks like it could turn to washboard fairly easily. However, they may have just graded the road before we arrived so we did not have a issue. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our site was fairly level and was plenty large enough to hold our 34' motorhome with car and dolly attached. AAA discount applied to $32.00 standard rate.
This is one of the nicest Michigan State campgrounds that we've stayed at. We had a lakefront site with our own private trail to the beach. We stayed in site number 164. The bathhouses were clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and very helpful.
