The rest of the staff may be ok, but the one we got to check us in was rude, and gave us the third degree. Sites are big and new, but nothing but red dirt surrounding them, no grass. miles away from lake and pool, golf course was well maintained so if thats your thing then by all means. Will not stay here again, not the best GA parks has to offer.
We stayed here two weeks and really enjoyed this park. Lake front sites, and plenty of room unless you are driving a greyhound bus! Busy on weekends, quiet during week. Park rangers extremely nice and helpful, regular patrol, very safe. Will come back again and again, best GA park we have seen yet
Nice park, clean. rangers ride through regularly. Only one drawback, if you want a good site, you have to have a local or perhaps someone in the park to give you heads up. We watched for 10 days people putting tiny pup tents on the best sites to hold them for the rig to come in. Does not seem fair. Some of these tents sat on the site for two or three days. Rangers said tent same as rig as far as he was concerned (?)
Park is clean , but no shade. Check in clerk kept us waiting 10 minutes while she was on telephone. She was rude and acted like we were interrupting her (no one else was in the office). She was offended that we were only staying two days. Did not give us good directions to site. will not stay here again
Spaces very close together, sewer almost under our noses. Reach out and touch your neighbor! Very crowed and lots of golf carts running around. People were friendly and nice, would not stay here again though.
Extremely clean and well cared for. Grassy, roomy sites. Clean clear swimming pond, and fishing lake. Showers excellent, management and staff helpful and very friendly. Will stay here again. A little off the beaten path, take 301 N off I-71 to Crawford Road. (approx 6 miles from I-71) Well kept Secret! Passport America Sun-thurs. Best campground ever stayed in.
