Listed price is for TTN members. This park is in very poor shape. The electrical system is very poor. Supposedly they fixed it several years ago, but it is worse than it was before they fixed it. Low voltage, sites without power, etc. Main pool is not open in winter. Restaurant is closed. Many sites taken with (junky) permanent people. No Verizon voice or data unless you go to section M (on the Hill), and most of those sites have been taken by permanent people. Same with air TV. I will still use this park as a temporary stopover between Santa Barbara and Riverside, but it is not a good stop for an extended stay. The TTN sign has been removed and it is now identified as an Encore (leased site) park.
Rate is for TTN Members. Non members pay about $35. No air TV. Free Wi-Fi in the clubhouses. Good Verizon phone and data. Pool is unheated so not open in the winter. Store is closed in the winter. This is a nice park, but not worth the rack rate if anyone considers paying the $35. As with most TTN parks, the facility is very dated.
Price quoted is PA. No over the air TV. Poor Verizon Data and Phone service. Convenient to Avenue of the Giants (about 20 mi away). Level gravel sites. Free Wi-Fi is at check in building. Walk to Redwood gift shops.
Rate quoted is Passport America. Included WiFi, cable, & 50A power. Excellent Verizon phone. Walk to beach. Level gravel pull thorough sites. Large modern clubhouse. Next to Hwy 101, but noise not a problem.
Price quoted is for TTN members. Extra charge for cable TV. Fair air TV, very poor Verizon phone or data. Free Wifi in the lodges. Indoor pool and hot tub. Pickleball court. Walk to beach (across Hwy 101).
Price is for TTN Members. Limited number of sewer sites. Only FOX air TV. Good Verizon phone & 4G data. This is the first TTN park so is somewhat dated. Power is poor. Most facilities shut down during the winter. Lots of Blackberries this time of year.
Rate is based on monthly rental (plus electric). Very tight park, but great facilities - good electric, free wifi at the site, small lodge with book exchange. Very friendly staff. Walk to stores. Bus service on street in front of park. Park is behind (new) Mercedes dealership, so is somewhat hard to find. Watch for small trailer type sign along road. We would/will definitely stay here again if we need to be in the Lynnwood area.
Very poor air TV. Good Verizon phone and data. Mostly wooded sites. Great indoor pickleball court. Store and weekend breakfast and lunch. Some road noise for sites near the freeway. Price shown is member price. Casino walking distance down road.
Price quoted is TTN Member price. Very poor air TV, Verizon voice and data. Very slow free Wi-Fi in family lodge. No pool, but enclosed hot tub. Pickleball, miniature golf. Limited full hook up sites and limited satellite sites. Weekend breakfast and lunch. Small store. Boat launch. Leased land on Indian reservation about 3 miles from town.
No cost if TTN member. Free WiFi in lodge. Fair Verizon voice, good (4G) Verizon data. No air TV. Two nice pools and hot tub. No store. Food service on weekends. About 50% full hookups (with 50A - no extra charge). Mini golf, playground, a few hiking trails. On Skykomish river. Limited satellite TV in full hook up sites.
Thousand Trails CG. Rate is free to members. $5 for 50A. Limited sewer sites. No air TV. Poor Verizon data. Fair Verizon voice. Pool out of order. Tennis and pickleball. Frisbee Golf, miniature golf. Restaurant closed. Store has limited hours.
Stayed in the Thousand Trails side of the park. Good Hot tub and Pool. Price reflects Thousand Trails member price. 4G Verizon data. Good Verizon voice. Fair air TV. Large park with very little usage. Gravel sites. No sewer in the park, but two dump stations.
Price quoted is GA, summer. Winter is $5 for everyone, $2.50 GA. Verizon voice and data poor, but usable. Fresh water in park, but no dump station.l Dump in town (private park) is $5. Campground is 5 miles past park entrance. Level, very long pull through sites. Recycling. Lots of Bison & prairie dogs and a few wild horses and deer. Very worthwhile place to stay if you are in the area. No air TV.
Good Verizon voice & data. Fair air TV. Level grassy sites. Next to public park with a couple of pools (not yet open for the season). This is a mobile home park with a dozen RV sites available. Dip in side of road by entry may cause some rigs to drag. Passport America rate is half price for first day. Price quoted is full price. Very quiet park a block off highway 83.
Price quoted is PA for 30amp, no sewer. Pool was not open for season yet. Good free Wi-Fi. Level gravel sites. Recycling available. Good Verizon voice. Fair air TV. Across the street from Pipestone National Monument. Great restaurant (Langes) in town (about 1 mile away).
Nice park, but no water anywhere except the dump station. Watch the prices. Whatever price they quote you, the actual price will be $5-$10 per day more. They charge $5 per day additional for each vehicle (including the camping vehicle). They never mention this until you actually show up to claim the reservation. Everything in the park is extra charge (i.e. pool, boats, shows, golf, etc). Good Verizon data & voice. Good air TV. I will not return to a NE state park due to their excessive extra charges. There are plenty of cheaper local and city parks available in NE. The price quoted includes camping fee, reservation fee, daily MH fee, and daily toad fee.
This is a large, well maintained residence campground with about 18 transient sites. The transient sites are all in the open on gravel pads with water and (50A) electricity on various sides, often not the side for RV hookups, so bring a long hose and/or electrical cord. Fair Verizon voice, poor Verizon data. Good air TV. Sites somewhat sloping. PA park, but PA prices not valid Fri/Sat so regular price quoted. No sewer, but dump station available. Pool not operational when we were there. Park does not get fully operational (food/pool/lodge) until about Memorial day.
Fair Verizon data & voice. Good air TV. Price quoted is PA price. Pull through sites are actually dual sites front to back, only pull through if both empty. Pool not operating when we were there (early in season). Quiet park. Fairly level hard pack dirt sites. Small lake on property. Watch for dirt entry drive just west of park sign.
Good Verizon data, fair Verizon voice, poor air TV. Right next to freeway, so lots of freeway noise. Did not hook up to water due to previous reports on this website of poor water. Low voltage on 30A E. Be careful locating this campground as our GPS showed entrance on west side of US69, but campground and entrance are on EAST side of freeway. Pool closed when we were there. Price shown is with Good Sam discount (park is PA park, however not honored on Fri/Sat nights). Level gravel sites.
Pool and hot tub not in service while we were here (opening week for the season). Three fishing lakes. Fair Verizon data & voice. Fair air TV. Level gravel sites. No cost to Thousand Trails members. About $40 for non members.
Encore (TTN) park. Rate quoted is PPA. Pool not operational when we were there. Most facilities were closed (permanently?). Small campground, level gravel sites. Good Verizon voice & data. Good air TV.
WiFi is extra charge, but Verizon phone & data worked well. Over the air TV is good. Level gravel sites. Swimming pool not operational while we were here. About 50 miles to Gatlinburg, Dollywood, and Smoky Mountain National Park.
Rate quoted is with senior pass. Dump and central water available (cost if not camping). No Verizon phone or data. Good TV. Convenient to Shark valley and "Loop Road". Good phone & data about 5 miles west on main road.
Very friendly people. Free Wi-Fi. Good Verizon phone. Good over-the-air TV. Price quoted is Passport America. Many permanent trailers. On Canal. Sites facing canal are $5 more. Mailing address is Moore Haven as Lakeport does not have a Post Office.
Good Verizon voice and data. Good over the air TV. Per regional manager, TTN (ELS) goal is 70% permanent residents, so facilities for transients are in decline. Like most TTN parks, promises of improvements are high, but actual improvements are low. Managers change often, so there is very little follow through. Price quoted is for members. Very few site tables. Free (good) Wi-Fi in lodge. Very many sites out of order due to bad electricity.
Rate reflects membership price. Very close to freeway, but not too noisy. Good free Wi-Fi. $3 extra for 50A. Sites close together. Good Verizon phone. Good air TV. Pool(s) not operating while we were here. Lake access.
Stayed 11 days. Price is $0 with TTN membership. Extra charge for 50A and/or Wi-Fi. Propane is more expensive than other parks and is only available at limited times. There is a GREAT restaurant (Tar heel Q) across the street. Great food, low cost. Serves Breakfast/lunch/dinner. We will return here next time we are on the west coast mainly because of the restaurant. Very few pull throughs. Good Verizon phone & data. Good over the air TV.
Rate quoted is with National Parks Senior Pass. This is Washington DC's best kept secret. Park police training facility on site so good security. Good air TV signal. Good Verizon phone & data. No reservations available or needed. This is our 5th time here. We stayed a week. About 2 miles to two different transit stations. Dump station and water available.
Very pricey, but due to location, okay. On peninsula in Hudson River. Could be very nice if the weather was better. Good TV, Verizon phone & data. I will probably return here when we next return to NYC. About a 45 minute drive to town. Watch for low bridges and restricted expressways.
Good Verizon voice & data. NO DUMP STATION! Limited drinking water access. Some sites very unlevel and due to reservation system, cannot change sites. I do not recommend this campground for anyone with an RV unless they are very familiar with the specific campsites. Price listed for out of state campers plus reservation fees. We stayed 5 nights.
No Verizon phone or data. Free (slow) WiFi. Ability to dump gray water at site. A couple of air TV stations (including network). Small above ground pool. Level grassy sites. 1/2 price for PA. Best access is from north rather than from Groton.
Mostly full time tenants. $5 extra for 50A. 1/2 price for PA. Most sites are kind of short, but parking at an angle helps. Low bridge on Hwy 20 getting to park from east. Also VERY sharp turn into the park from the southwest. Erratic Verizon phone and data. Good air TV.
No Verizon phone or Data in our site (#8). Nice owners. Good electricity. One channel over the air (NBC). Level site. WiFi being installed, but not here when we were. Convenient to local attractions (Shanksville, Johnstown, etc.). About 50 miles from Pittsburgh. Extra charge if you use the dump station on your way in. We stayed 6 days. Cash only for PA (but half the above price).
Rate quoted is TT member rate. Some 50A are $3 extra. Pool and kitchen does not open until Memorial Day. Mediocre Verizon data. Free WiFi in lodge. Fair over the air TV. Stayed 3 weeks. Lots of greenery. Some open sites, some wooded.
Price with Senior Pass. Water and dump is available. Sites paved but not real level. Great cell and Verizon data. About 2 miles from transit stations. Never crowded in spring or fall (haven't tried it in summer). This is our forth time here and will always come back due to the reasonable price. No reservations needed. Stayed one week this time. One bath has a shower.
Rate is for TT member. Pool not open for the season yet. $3 upcharge for 50AMP. WiFi in lodge only. Hot tub open. Campground on Piankatank River and on private lake. Boat ramp with dock. Paddle boats on lake. Stayed 3 weeks.
Rate is special per week for Thousand Trails members. Very friendly staff. Season does not start until mid April, so pools were not open and campground was somewhat uncared for. Free tour of Boat factory across the street. Sewer is via underground tanks due to high water table and tanks sometimes overflow. New roads in vicinity, so if coming from the south via GPS be sure to get off Hwy 17 onto Bus 17 at Chocowinity or you will miss the park.
Nice quiet park. 1/2 price ($10) for Passport America for 7 days. Sites well back from road. Very level. Some shaded, some open. Intermittent Verizon data signal. Good over the air TV. Good Verizon phone.
Rate shown is for an RV rally including meals, etc. I don't know what they paid the park. Lots of amenities including stores, restaurants, pools, etc. Large development including condo's and park models. Right on the beach.
