We camp here at least twice a year with our group. The campground is new and shade trees are scarce. The sites are good sized and most are pull through sites. The clubhouse is available for group use and is very, very nice. They have a 300' long concrete pier that protrudes into the White River that you can fish from or just sit in the pavilion at the end and enjoy the tranquil views. The staff is friendly and tries very hard to meet your expectation. The campground also features cabins for rent and sale as the section closest the river is a full time/part time residential section.
This park changed ownership about five years ago. Each year since, it gets better. The sites are spacious, the restrooms/laundry clean, the pool and playground in EXCELLENT shape, the owner, Amber, goes the extra mile to assure your expectations are met. The pavilion on the lake is great for group meetings. The park is located just 1/4 mile off HWY 17 so its' quiet yet convenient. It is also only seven miles from the straw market so downtown is fairly close. We have camped here three years in a row and much prefer it to our previous campgrounds in the area.
