This park has a lot of great points. The location is good and the facilities were clean. Our site had a concrete pad, which was great. They have an outdoor pool, indoor pool and a splash pool, which my kids loved. They have a snack bar at the beach, a snack bar at the pool area and a restaurant which delivers pizza directly to your site (which was delicious.) We found two major problems with this campground. One was that the facilities (pool area, beach, arcade,) were very crowded. There are over 800 transient sites, plus hundreds of rental houses; one pool area just wasn't enough. The second issue we had was with the number and usage of golf carts. The park is large, so golf carts are the main mode of transportation. We don't own a golf cart and didn't want to spend $50 a day to rent one, so we rode our bikes or walked to our destinations within the campground. There were so many golf carts that traffic came to a stand still on the two major roads between our camper and the pool area. Especially at night, the golf carts were not used simply for transportation from one place to another, but people were cruising around the campground. A lot of the drivers were teenagers that didn't appear to have much driving experience. We witnessed four or five near accidents. While walking and riding our bikes, we were actually concerned that we might be hit by a golf cart. In addition to that, many of the drivers were playing their radios very loudly, sometimes with music that had lyrics that I don't really want my 3 and 10 year olds to hear. The loud music continued until quiet hours began (11 pm) and it didn't help that our site (2041) was on the edge of the campground near a hotel with a night club that also played their music very loudly. Without these two major concerns, this park would have rated much higher for my family. Because of them, we would not choose to stay here again.
