Because we don't really use the campground facilities, this park is fine for us. The sites are wide, grassy and easy to maneuver in a big rig. The campground is only 7 miles from city and good golf. We would definitely stay here again because of its closeness to activities. Some train noise but with a/c on, no problem. Good Wi-Fi. Watch out for fire ants. Picnic table, no fire ring. Because of its proximity to Savannah, it is about 7 miles off the I-95 but the roads are excellent. It is a family business they are are trying to expand.

Although it won't appeal to everyone, this parking lot campground is great.  Wide open, clean, EZ access from interestate and within the grounds for big rigs.  Spaces are very wide and level with gravel.  Nice picnic table.  If you're into racing, it's ideal as it's right next door to the Charlotte Raceway. If not, it's still a great place to stay and visit the city.   Back ins are more than ample for a 45‘ and the pull thrus are super long-100’.  The Nascar Hall of Fame, in downtown Charlotte, has a race car simulator that is really fun.  Nearby is good shopping, tons of restaurants and Rocky River Golf Club.  No wifi but strong phone signal.  Would definitely stay here again

The other descriptions made us tentative on this campground. We came in from I-64 going west and the gps took us through town to reach the campground. We unhooked when we reached the coal mine exhibition and checked it out before committing.  We also wanted to see if the sites were long enough.  No problem.  The approach into the campground is a little steep and the left turn is sharp but we had no problem with a 45’ motorhome.    The campground itself is very clean.  The sites are asphalt pads.  The hookups for some sites are in the rear of the site so unless you want to use multiple cords, look at that before going in.  There is a locked wire on each site so if you need to change sites, you have to go back down to the office and get another key.  No Wi-Fi.  Good phone reception.  Quiet.   The sites are a little snug, but it wasn't crowded so it wasn't an issue.  The coal mine exhibition is well worth seeing.  Very interesting and well done.  It's about a half hour drive to the New River Gorge Bridge.  Would stay here again. There are a lot of fun outdoor activities in the area.

Although the allure of it being in the mountains sounds intriguing, you really can't see much. You will know that you're 4000’ up though because the 4 mile drive up the mountain from the main road is tight, but certainly doable and obviously all up hill. The office staff was extremely nice, but the sites not so much. They tried to put us in a narrow, heavily treed site for which the turn was not really possible without maneuvering. They were able to move us to an open site which was much better but was just a gravel narrow path cut out of the grass. Picnic table, but no fire ring. To get in and out of town is a trip. The Boone Golf Club is nearby and a very good course. Wi-Fi was OK. AT&T phone service on the weak side. Nice playground, donkeys, goats and chickens that children would enjoy. I think we'd look for alternatives if returning to Boone.

The campground is located about 3 miles off the interstate with nice wooded campsites.  The site was level and had lots of space between the campsites with a picnic table and a rock fire pit.  It's about 15 miles to Harrisonburg and JMU.  They don't have Wi-Fi at sites, only at the office, although they said it's coming.  AT&T phone signal is weak. Golf and some flea markets are nearby.   We were able to receive satellite TV even though it is wooded.  Camped here in 45' motorhome and would definitely return.  Note that although the KOA directions say not to use your GPS, ours gave us accurate directions.  If you are southbound on I-81 be sure to turn left and cross over the interstate before turning left again.   The instructions say go 100' and turn left, but it's much more than that, and we found it confusing.  

Great campground near WDC. The traffic is insane around the beltway so it's nice to have a restful place nearby.  This is a large campground with lots of options.  Site was a level backin and just fit us with our tow parked in front at an angle.  If our neighbor hadn't moved his car we would have had a hard time getting out, but there are plenty of bigger pull through sites and other backins which would eliminate that issue for a 45'. They said that the pull throughs get a lot of in and out traffic so if you stay several days they recommend a back in. We didn't notice that being a problem.  We couldn't hook up to the Wi-Fi at our location.  Since we weren't here much, it wasn't a big issue but it could be. The ice cream sundaes were outstanding! Would stay here again because the location is excellent. We didn't go into WDC but the transportation available would make it very easy. The office is well staffed and they are helpful.

The folks here are so nice and helpful. We had an ample pull in for a 45' motorhome. We were parked on asphalt and the campground is neat and orderly. The Wi-Fi was a little weak. It's in a very nice area and the Shop Rite supermarket down the road is excellent. Convenient to Philadelphia. Most of the sites are occupied by long seasonals so be sure to get a reservation. No credit cards. Would stay here again.

Extremely EZ on and off I-95. The campground itself is clean and nicely organized. The office staff alto pleasant, must have never walked the grounds. We were the only customers the entire day and most of the sites were empty. But we were placed right next to the only other camper in the row in a site that had trees on both sides of the site with a telephone pole in front of the window. We're 45' with a tow. This was not exactly a pull through. The 30 amp sites are lovely, long and level. The 50 amp sites are tight and more of an afterthought. Wi-Fi not good. Surprisingly, we couldn't hear the traffic from the Interstate. So, it's a fine place to stop for convenience and the price is right but beware if you're a big rig.

This is a great campground for big rigs and an overnight. Easy access on concrete pads with nice space between sites. Office staff was friendly and helpful. Good Wi-fi. The only problem is the noise factor of traffic and planes, but neither can the park control so have to appreciate the location, cleanliness, and amenities. Stay here often coming and going through Florida.

Yes on first blush, the sites appear to be narrow because there are so many sites and your neighbor usually has to park next to your covered picnic table.  There's no privacy, the sites are sandy and if it's crowded it's noisy.  But, the sound of the surf and the breeze off the ocean are all worth it!  The sites are nicely angled so that the view out of the front of the rig is great.  This is a huge campground and if you are fortunate enough to secure a spot near the ocean you will love it.  There are also nice sites in the trees and around the lake.  There's a nice wide beach.  The location is near good restaurants, golf and shopping.  Free Wi-Fi, which is almost a given every place else except Myrtle Beach, is available here.  It is a little slow but came up quickly.  If trucks are parked too far from their fifth wheels, getting around can be a little difficult for big rigs.  The restaurant in the campground is decent. The church service was good. Really nice pool and river float. We've stayed here several times and believe it's the best in the area, although we have not tried the campgrounds further south.

There aren't a lot of campgrounds along this section of I-70 and almost none that are near the interstate.  This KOA is about 5 miles off but that distance does provide a nice ambience in the campground and also makes it free from road noise.  Access roads are fairly narrow and some trees are low but certainly ok for big rigs. It's an older campground and, therefore, "cozy". We had a level, pull through site (F) which was easy in and out for our 45' rig. We could get satellite and cable TV is available. There are only a few big rig sites. It is heavily treed and a creek runs next to the campground.  Reasonably good Wi-Fi, a little slow. AT&T signal was ok.  Can't say anything about the area as we just did an overnight.  If there had been occupants in the cabin next to us, we would have had to invite them for dinner.  It was close.  We would stay here again because we liked the atmosphere.

This is a well kept KOA and they have invested in creating some very nice big rig sites with patios, comfortable furniture and easy access. Good Wi-Fi. Office staff very nice and helpful. The location is good for a visit to Longaberger Homestead and golf club. The only drawback of this KOA is the cost. It's expensive. The price is for 2 people so add 8.00/adult and 5.00/child per day for the visit. If you have a family that can enjoy all the amenities, then it may not be so bad but for two adults, it's pricey. Hopefully, the next camping season will not bring an increase.

This is a reasonable overnight stop. It has a lot of open space around the campground and even a golf driving range which was nice but the transient sites are narrow with no table, fire ring and just a wee bit of grass. Additionally, there is no Good Sam discount for the 50 amp transient sites. We blew the circuit and had to turn off some a/c units in order to cook. It's wide open for good satellite reception. The office said there was Wi-Fi but we couldn't pick it up at our site. AT&T has a strong signal. There is surprisingly a lot of noise from the highway even though you drive almost a mile north off the interstate. We would stay here again in a 45' motorhome. There aren't many choices in this stretch of highway and it is easy in and out. Perhaps, the back section of the campground is for longer stays and it looked more pleasant.

We stayed here in a 45 motorhome while waiting for a repair. They worked with us as we tried to figure out how long we were going to have to stay. But...the sites were so narrow. For a couple of nights we didn't have anyone next to us and it was fine but when we had a neighbor, our picnic table was just about under their slide out and their sewer hose was right there. The road noise is high. The good news is that the location was good for us- near the interstate, service center, church, golf and downtown Davenport on the Mississippi which was quite pleasant. Wi-Fi was fine alto it's the first time I had to call tech support to find out that there is no sign up page even though the check-in instructions give a username and password. We'll probably look around for another campground when passing through in the future.

Top notch! Best KOA. Level, gravel sides with picnic tables on nice grass that are not next to your neighbor's sewer! Good Wi-Fi. Far enough off the interstate so there's no noise but yet convenient. River Valley golf course is about 10 miles away- 3 star golf digest rating. There is a small pond for fishing. And unlike a lot of KOAs, it was reasonable for the facility. We wish the new owners many blessings in their adventure.

Kennebec is in the middle of nowhere so it was nice to find a comfortable place to overnight. Nice owners. Site was level, gravel with sufficient space in between. Some of the sites for smaller rigs really had nice side yards. Table and grill provided. Wi-Fi excellent and came right up. Didn't leave the campground so don't know what's around but this is definitely a nice stop over. No interstate noise. We are in a 45' and had ample room to maneuver. Would stay here again.

Reading the reviews on this campground is like being in the twilight zone.  It must be location, location, location in this park as the old saying goes.  Making an online reservation is one of the high points of KOAs and it was Labor Day weekend so we booked it.  Our site was a 30 amp, pull through.  The staff was very helpful in the check-in telling us which roads to take to avoid tight turns in our 45'.  And then the road getting into the site was ridiculous.  We had to go between a fence and an electric pole, which we nudged, and had to unhook to get by.  The pole had had a few prior encounters.   The site was SO narrow that we could step out of the door right into the fire ring.  12" of grass between gravel sites.  That's narrow.  So if you're coming here, the site will make a difference.  For the price, this was bad value.  It is well located for shopping near Cabelas, Sam's and Wal-Mart and downtown, but that's the highpoint.

Nicely treed campground, but they don't interfere with height of big rigs or access to sites. Nice, gravel, level site with ample room between rigs. And what fun when 12 wild turkeys showed up when we opened the door in the morning! Far enough from the highway to not have road noise. Owners are very nice and helpful. Buffalo Golf Club, as all things in Buffalo, is close by and fun with lots of elevations. Good restaurants within walking distance. It's Wi-fi heaven with a strong, steady signal. No question we'd stay here again.

One of those campgrounds where you pull in for the night and never leave. Nice, long, level, gravel site with easy on and off the interstate and yet far enough that there's no noise. Good Wi-Fi. Don't know anything about the area but it is apparently the beginning of a scenic highway to Yellowstone.

Owners very nice and helpful. We had a choice of sites but only 30 amps. Sites were level gravel. We had problems with the electric and blew it twice. The second time we had to move our connection to a nearby post. Wi-Fi steady and strong. The campground is very close to the tracks but the trains do not blow a horn so you know they're coming but they're not bothersome. It is also next door to a 9 hole executive golf course. It's located just outside of a nice town with lots of amenities. Easy access to dump station.

All the campgrounds in the area were full so we had to take this one with water and 15 amps.  15 amps wouldn't even keep our refrigerator going, so we were on generator and inverter over nite.  The transient sites are around the perimeter which provides a little breathing room in a rather tight layout.    The space between the sites is nice grass with a picnic table.  The Wi-Fi was pitiful and wouldn't hold the Internet.  Most of the sites were occupied by local workers. Would not stay here again unless desperate like we were this time.  $30 was steep for an over nite with water!

Stayed here during a festival so we were in the overflow with no E,W, or S.  They don't take reservations.   The actual sites of the campground looked nice in the trees and had 20 amps and water.  The gardens are serene and lovely and the conservatory had an amazing collection of cacti.  No cell phone service.  Wi-Fi is available at the admin office and conservatory.  Crossing the border into Canada is easy and not crowded.  

Rating this campground is a little difficult because the untidiness  of it is not entirely their fault.  Devil's Lake is rising and taking a lot of land with it.  Therefore, road and dike construction is all around the lake making everything dusty.  Getting around takes awhile as you must wait for pilot cars on most stretches.  The campground has unlevel, gravel sites with weeds in between the sites although there is ample space.  We moved from one site to another because our jacks buried into the ground-one about a foot. We're a big rig. No Wi-Fi. Campground owners are former farmers and are trying to make a living in a difficult situation so it's hard to be too negative.  The road by the campground is supposed to be paved in a couple of  weeks so that should help. Fort Totten is interesting and the fishing is great.  The area reminded us of Alaska.  All the campgrounds in the area are in the same situation.  We would come back again but maybe after the construction, alto the fishing was fun.  

A fairly typical casino campground alto there is nice grass between the sites and the pad is concrete. $10.50/nite for a full hookup is a deal. The casino website and other campground books do not show this place. We were just going to stay in the parking lot and were pleasantly surprised to find a campground. They have 27 holes of golf on site and the course is interesting; bring the golf cart to the coach and load up! The usual casino, cheap buffet and entertainment are available. Security touring the parking lot frequently. No Wi-Fi at site but available in the hotel. Would stay here again.

As others have noted the office is not on the campground, but about a mile away. The sign in front of the feed store where the office is located is rather small so be on the lookout. We stayed in the new section with our 45' rig. Easy back-in. The grounds are very neat and when you look out your window you see cornfields. The space between sites is spacious. Only problem is that they still charge for Wi-Fi which is getting to be an obsolete practice. The Iowa State Fair is a wonderful event and only 8 miles away. Very quiet as it isn't near a railroad track or highway. Would stay here again.

The Grotto of the Redemption is a masterpiece of geological rocks and gems with the story of Jesus. Behind the grotto is the campground. The address given on the website isn't exactly accurate. It is on 3 St and 1 Ave NW directly behind the church and grotto. The only sign was at the campground. It's nothing fancy but the sites are pull through on grass and 30 amps is available. For $15/nite and the remarkable grotto it's a worthwhile stop in a small Midwest town with nice people. The type of place RVers appreciate.

We moved here after an FMCA Rally. Big back in sites with lots of room on the sides. Convenient to downtown and lakes. Really nice walking and bike trails near by. Walking trail heads are at campground. Water is available from several spigots and the dump station is easily accessible. No Wi-Fi but good At&T signal. $2/nite discount for seniors making it a really great deal. Quiet- very little road noise. It has a tremendous website for reservations showing availability by site number. Lots of good golf nearby. Madison is a nice city with great restaurants. Would a love to come back here again.

This park is strangely located.  It's between two exits so it's about 5-6 miles off the interstate even tho it's located next to the interstate which makes it rather noisy.  The access road into and out of the park requires a u-turn in the restaurant parking lot.  Fortunately, the restaurant was closed so the turn was easy but if cars had been in the parking lot, it would have been tricky.  The site was large and level.  Wi-Fi ok although I never understand why the staff doesn't automatically  give new arrivals the password without being asked.  Now the dump station: it is located on a road that requires a turn around trees. Was not so easy for a 45 footer. Additionally, there are low hanging trees next to dump so that they drag on top of the rig.  There is only one dump for a large number of sites. What were they thinking???  The 2 PM check out time is generous.  Sentryworld golf is about 9 miles away and is a nice course in great condition with a unique flower filled 16th hole.  If necessary, would stay again in a motorcoach but it's inconvenient and the dump station access could be trouble if it was crowded.

We were happy to find this park on a Friday nite with our 45' rig. We had a huge pull through site on grass, fairly level. Plenty of space between sites. The owner was super nice and told us about the Copper Head ski lift. We stayed an extra nite to see it and it was worth it as it is the longest ski jump in the world. The owner even brought us a piece of delicious cake as a thank you for staying. No organized activities. We have no complaints about this campground and would stay here again in our motorcoach. The paved interior roads were more than ample for big rigs.

2011 update: no goose droppings and a delightful park! It's close to town which is a small, quaint place with cute shops and a nice atmosphere. Some sites are a tad close side to side. Plenty of room to back in our 45' rig. The owner worked with us to stay another day without having to move. Good Wi-Fi. Be prepared that there is no cell service in town. The only reception is at the top of Brockway lookout which is worth the drive even without cell phone access. Harbor Haus is a great restaurant albeit pricey. This is a wonderful area with boat trips, hiking, golf at Keweenaw Mountain resort (9 hole). Would definitely return.

This is an OK campground if you need to stop somewhere. The site was long enough for our big rig, but was heavily treed and therefore no satellite. Also no AT&T phone service. Wi-Fi was from a small router that couldn't be maintained. Escanaba is 6-7 miles away and is useful for restocking (Walmart supercenter). Even though the campground is near the lake there is really nothing around it. Not our cup of tea, but others may find it perfectly adequate.

There are few campgrounds for big rigs on the Trans - Canada highway, so Serpent River is a welcome sight. It's easy in and out.  Has electric and water, no sewer but the pump-out has easy access on the way out. (Although it's on a little incline.)  The biggest drawback is the highway noise. Fairly good Wi-Fi but it comes in and out. Sites are fairly level and grassy.   Stone Ridge Golf Course is 13 miles away and is a nice course in good condition. Food at the golf course restaurant was also good. Would stay here again especially if space were available away from the road, or motorhome windows were closed. 

This is not a bad campsite, but isn't overly accessible for big rigs. While the KOA computer was down we went into a pull thru that was 47'; we're 45' but it worked out ok. If the computer hadn't had a problem we would have been in a back-in that would have really been difficult to get into. Wi-Fi was intermittent. There was a good rainstorm, but the campground drained well. No sewer at sites, but dump station is convenient on exit. Lots of ATV folks. The campground is a good 15 miles from Parry Sound. Would stay here again in a big rig but only if we had to. The ease of booking online keeps us going to KOAs.

A small but neat and convenient campground between Niagara Falls and downtown Buffalo.  Sites are level and asphalt and pull throughs were EZ in and out. Good Wi-Fi except that it drops you if it's idle for a short time. Have to keep logging in. The temps were in the high 90s and the campground's electric held which was appreciated. If you're entering from the south, the right turn into the campground is over a bridge and tight for big rigs. There are no organized activities or pool so if traveling with children keep that in mind. Olympia restaurant across the street is fair but adequate.  The Falls (10 miles) are so incredible.  God is very creative. Buffalo is the home of Buffalo wings.  The originals were served at the Anchor Bar downtown (18 miles) and worth the trip.  Beef on a weck ( a roll) is a sandwich  found in Buffalo only . Anderson's were very good. Would definitely stay here again; the owner is very nice and we enjoyed the peacefulness of the campground. 

Small, neat campground but with only one pull through. Big rigs can get into backin sites. There doesn't seem to be anyone on site so we pulled into the pull-through in our 45' coach. They make it easy to fill out the registration form and leave the payment. Wi-Fi didn't work after a storm came through. We were told that it is busy on weekends and since you can't speak to anyone, you don't know if you have a reservation. Could be a problem. Would stay here again.

The location is good for visiting Philadelphia and Wilmington. We had a nice site for our 45' coach. Roomy and open for satellite reception. The Wi-Fi was not steady and kept going on and off which is frustrating. The roads getting to the campground are narrow and tricky. Take it slow. Be on the lookout for detours which seem to be prevalent in the area. Would stay here again.

It wasn't very busy so we had no problem parking our 45' rig. We had an easy on and out site, but not sure there were many. Our biggest complaint was that the incoming road and sites were all dirt. After a long dry period it made a mess of our car. Yes, we know we're camping! WiFi ok. Good location near I-95. Would stay again.

This is a good location: close to I-95 but far enough away so traffic noise is not an issue. The sites for big rigs are concrete and pull throughs. Trees were appreciated in the September heat. I don't think WiFi was available and our AT&T service was non existent. Ok for a short stay but no phone and no internet, no way!

This is a nice open campground with easy access from I-95 without the noise. We had several problems though. In Sept there are very few travelers so the CG was not busy to say the least. In spite of this they were hard pressed to find a pull through for one night. We're 45'. Finally, and I give credit to the office staff, we were given a corporate site. The 50 amp service could not hold even one A/C unit and a cooking pot. We even moved to another box and it still blew. The price from Sunday -Thursday is half price, which is the good thing. We might try this CG again but only if we knew for sure that we had a site that could accommodate us. The electric needs to be fixed. In all campgrounds, we would like to see the office volunteer WiFi info. By the time we were ready up get online, the office was closed and we didn't have the access code. Not a happy camper!

This is a pleasant campground. Our site, 14, was long and spacious with plenty of room to be outside on nice grass. Good Wi-Fi. It's about 5 miles away from a major shopping and restaurant area off Exit 20. As noted before, the entry is very tricky. KOAs typically have a large yellow sign at the entry or road leading into the campground. When approaching eastbound there is a large yellow sign on the left BUT it's past the entry and it says oops you missed us. We had to unhook, turn around and deal with the very sharp right turn into the road. We did it with a 45' motorhome but didn't like it. The signs indicating the entry are on the right side of the road but we just missed them as we were focused on the big KOA-typical sign. There is a big Fox Fire Resort sign - that's the road!

This is an ok park. Doesn't have any outstanding features except convenience to the interstate. The sites aren't generous in width but are very long. A couple of sites don't have water unless you run your hose across your neighbor's site which is what they recommend. Not the end of the earth, but not convenient either. A couple of years ago we stayed several days because of it's proximity to the TPC John Deere golf course, but this was just for an overnight and we'd stay here again. Excellent WiFi and AT&T signal.

Coming from Deer Valley RV in Topeka, a pristine park with concrete pads, to this park is what makes RVing an adventure and fun. A very nice couple are new owners and are very helpful and friendly. The sites are rather narrow but level. Satellite was blocked by trees and no cable TV at site. It's out in the country with no road or train noise. WiFi was slow. Would stay here again. I'm sure there will be improvements in the future. It's a good half way point between Kansas City and Des Moines.

Nothing special but easy in and out on a gravel, level site. Hosts are very nice. They are Polish and make a Polish dinner delivered to your site. For an overnight, it is fine. WiFi a tad slow. Would stay again.

There's not much to add to the previous posts. This is an excellent, uncluttered park with nice concrete pads. Some sites have tables but most do not. It's so nice, though, that using your own table is no big deal. Excellent security. It's about 6 miles from Boss Hawg's, a renowned Kansas City barbecue restaurant. It's also close to Lake Shawnee. Wished we could have stayed longer.

This is a well maintained, secure Class A motorcoach resort with pools, spas and a real putting green. Each site is owned so there are variations in amenities. We were in 207 and it had a few problems. There was a dusty golf cart with a torn cover in the site. The incline into the space was steep enough that we had to raise the coach about 3" to a avoid gouging the pavement with the tow bar. The electricity went out a couple of times. At night the landscape lights didn't come on. On the bright side, we enjoyed the patio, grill and tiki covered tables. The park is in a newer part of town but only 6 miles from the Strip. It was nice to come back to the quiet resort after the craziness of downtown. Great Albertsons down the street on Blue Diamond. Would stay here again, but not in that site.

Clean and neat. It has lots of trees but they didn't cause any problem getting into the site. Actually we were happy to have them because it was very hot. Weak WiFi. Within walking distance to grocery and Walgreens. 25 miles to Zion National Park. They only accept cash or check for site payment. Would stay here again.

Ruby's Inn is definitely the main game in town for Bryce Canyon. The location is excellent. The sites are gravel and many are not level to the point that some RVs had their front wheels off the ground while on their jacks. Poor WiFi except in the hotel. No AT&T service except under the clock in the hotel's lobby. Night activities include rodeo, cowboy buffet, show. Shuttle for Bryce stops at campground. Would stay here again.

The spaces are narrow and gravel but we stayed in a premium site and it was great: on a concrete pad with plenty of space and even a "carport". A pool and spa is available only to the premium sites and it is clean and very nice. WiFi had a strong signal but was very slow. It's in a good location to both Arches Natl Park and town. There is a $10/night surcharge for a pull through although there is ample room to back in. Would stay here again.

Nice, clean campground and the sites are generous. It's all gravel. There is quite a bit of road noise in the morning as it is in an industrial area. It's in a great location to shop at Cabela's and Sportsman Warehouse. It's also close to the Redlands Mesa Golf Course which is outstanding. Good WiFi. Would stay here again, but wouldn't go out of our way to get here.

Gave this park an 8 because it is the only park near Monument Valley without actually driving there, but it is rough. There aren't many transient spaces. It is a dirt site but electric and water were fine. You have to give a deposit for a water key so it gives you the idea it is dry, dry, dry. The trading post next to the motel is very interesting with quality Navajo items. The personnel were very nice. The access is easy and if we had to go to Tuba City again, we'd stay here.

From Flagstaff, we were advised to use I-17 and then north on 179 to Sedona. It is farther but the ride in on 179 is pretty incredible with the red rocks. On the way out, we drove separately north on alternate 89 as 50' is the limit. That is justified in the hairpin section. It is much shorter and only 25 miles. Very nice campground with lots of large trees and next to a stream. They do have a gazillion rules, many of which are not followed very closely. The location is excellent with easy access to town and hiking. It was very hot so the trees were really appreciated. The nesting Great Blue Herons in the trees are interesting and can be noisy. We're in a 45' and our only beef was that the turn to get from the office into the site area is tight. Have to get around a fence with bushes and then large rocks used in the landscaping, so watch the turn. Site had ample space and plenty of space to back in. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice, clean, convenient park near the interstate but far enough that road noise is not an issue. It's nothing fancy but concrete pads are nice and everything worked including Wi-Fi. We enjoyed the hot tub. Pool is attractive and the entire area is very clean. Would have given it a 10, but it is in the middle of nowhere, and there's nothing to do in the area. Excellent one night stopover, though.

We stayed here because it was convenient to the golf course, which wasn't in the best of shape. It was a level, gravel site, but the sewer connection was way back on the site. Therefore the covered picnic table is not next to the rig, but 20' in front. Strange, but being dusty, windy and hot, this wasn't a big issue. Thank goodness for a/c. The buffet at the HardRock hotel was ok. Unless you're coming to gamble, which we were not, it's not exactly a destination park. Located right next to the train track. Food store is 6 miles away, but there are 2 gas stations with some basics close by. Diesel fuel was .15 less than the going rate on the Interstate. They don't take reservations, but it wasn't busy.

Easy on and off interstate which means the road noise is intense, especially for those sites right next to it. Not a real problem for us because it was hot and A/C was on. Near Cowboy Museum but across town from other attractions: Stockyard City, Bricktown and OK Memorial but the interstates take you to those places in just a few minutes. The Memorial was especially well done and meaningful and the cattle auctions (Monday and Tuesday only) in Stockyard City were very interesting. The campground is very neat and the sites are exceptionally wide. We were on concrete with a grass sideyard: nice. Roads were wide and easy to maneuver in our 45' motorhome. The only drawback is that there are no picnic tables, but only wooden reels from cables which aren't really useful. WiFi signal was strong but didn't always keep the connection to the internet. BBQ fans: it's close to County Line BBQ. Would definitely stay here again.

Two ways to get to this park: all the books say to get off I-65 on Rt 76 which runs through town. The traffic can be very heavy depending on the time of day (show times) and it could take you over an hour to go 3 miles. Garmin recommended an alternate traffic route. The road was narrow and winding but in a 45 motorhome we had no trouble, and there is no traffic. To us this would be the recommended route traveling from the south. The location of the park is very convenient to everything and it also gives easy access to roads which keep you off the main drag (Rt 76). Park is close to Thousand Hills Golf Course. The staff was the most friendly and helpful of any KOA. They can get show tickets for you. Has good free WiFi. We were in a premier site which was level, had a table and charcoal grill with adequate space. Easy in/out with wide roads. They serve pizza and breakfast although we did not use that service. Would stay here again.

If you need a place to park your rig and be close to town this is the campground for you. It is nothing fancy, there are no amenities, excellent Wifi, easy in and out. The manager is friendly and helpful. We would stay again if in the area.

All KOAs are a little on the pricey side. We had a premium spot on concrete with nice furniture and a gas grill that worked. Very nice and worth the extra dollars. Wi-fi was slow and connection was frequently dropped. It's very close to the Big Dam Bridge which is an interesting pedestrian/cyclist bridge over the Arkansas river.

Campground is kept very well and is conveniently located near shops and restaurants. Wifi excellent even with a full park. Pay attention to the exit signs if posted for your site. We're a 45' motorhome with a tow and making the turn into the campground is impossible as it is very narrow with ditches on both sides. We had to pass by, go onto Natchez Trace and turn around for an easier approach from the other direction. No credit cards.

It was not very busy in May as most of the seasonal folks were gone so it felt roomy. In spite of that they tried to put us right next to someone else when there were lots of open spaces. We requested to be moved, and they complied. Grassy sites are $5 less than concrete, and the grass is fine. My only complaint is that their ad says free W-iFi, but only 2 hours/day is free. After that it starts at 3.95/hr! Limited free Wi-fi would be more accurate. Has a 9 hole golf course on site which we would have played if it wasn't so hot. Would stay again-only 3+ miles off I-75.

Very convenient to I-10 and a great stopover park. Clean. easy access in/out without unhooking. Air card and phone worked well. Can't address anything in the area as we just spent the night.

This is an excellent campground. Clean, quiet, and right around the corner from the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail Cambrian Ridge Course. Free Wi-fi. No problem with satellite TV. Very nice staff. Pull throughs for big rigs. We've stayed here two other times and it's been great every time. We like overlooking the woods while enjoying the fire and cooking on the grill. Free firewood.

Although this is in essence a parking lot, there is easy access, plenty of room for big rigs, 50 amps, sewer and water, clean, well-lit and has free Wi-Fi. It is in a very nice area, convenient to shopping, restaurants, churches and less than 10 miles from the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail, Oxmoor Valley Golf Course, and Ross Bridge Golf Course. The sites aren't long so big rigs might have to park their tow vehicle beside the rig. If it is not crowded, you can park the vehicle in the open site next door. You have to be self-contained as there are no facilities (bathrooms/showers). We like the open space and the concrete was great in rainy weather! Would definitely stay here again.

It was recommended to us that we not stay in any of the campgrounds in Memphis because of the high crime rate. This campground is just over the state line in Mississippi and is still very convenient to the city attractions. It is new and clean. All the sites are on concrete pads with Adirondack chairs and a free standing fire pit at each site. We felt safe, and it is also convenient to many stores and restaurants.

One of the few state campgrounds that can take a big rig (45'). Very quiet. Many trees so satellite TV is not available. Very convenient to Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail - Hampton Cove course. Can pay day by day so no commitment necessary. Also nice to have 50 amps, water and sewer although they won't take reservations for those campsites, but they will for sites with just W&E.
