This is a large campground, that is broken into various sections. The front section, where we stayed, appears to be for short timers either just passing through for the night or for just a few days. There is a row of back-ins along the small lake that are more permanent, but are well kept. There is also a section in the back of the park for long term campers that is pretty run down. Fortunately, it is the farthest from the front because it is quite an eyesore. There are lots of trees throughout and the sites, although not paved, are long and fairly wide. The front part was clean and appeared to be well kept. We will stay here again if in the area, but will always request the front section when making reservations

We have stayed here multiple times, and always enjoy it. It is always neat and clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The park has always been orderly and quiet whenever we have stayed there. The negatives are: 1) no cable, 2) very poor Wi-Fi. The main entrance road to the sites is long and straight with several severe speed bumps to keep traffic to 10 MPH. If you are going in & out often, this can be pretty annoying. Overall, a good place and we will stay here again.

This is truly a great campground. There are large sites and lots of trees so you don't feel your neighbors are on top of you. Also, the sites are at various angles, so there is not a feeling of lining up in formation. If you enjoy a natural setting, this park is ideal with lots of wildlife and their own bird sanctuary. There were a few minor negatives. The staff in the office were quite young, and not overly attentive. It could be a need for better training. Also, we had some trouble with the TV cable, but the cable company got out here and got things back online. As stated, the negatives were minor. We definitely look forward to getting back to the beautiful island and a great campground.

This was our second stay here, and if you like the beach, it is a good park. We stayed on the off side of the front row, and because there were many open sites on beach front, we had a beautiful unobstructed view of the Gulf. The park itself has many amenities and their staff is most helpful and friendly. There are some negatives, however. The closer you get to the beach, the smaller the sites. It was a real challenge to back in my 5th wheel, even with a spotter. Also, the pricing is very high even in off season. Wi-Fi was spotty at best. All that said, location is ideal and we will most likely go back.

OK for overnight. The park was very quiet, with clean well kept grounds. The park is a mixture of mobile homes and long term RV's with few amenities. Some of the sites were very cluttered with lots junk lying around. The sites are primarily grass, although some did have concrete patios. Ours did not so we were constantly tracking grass into our RV, as they do not allow patio rugs or mats. We could not get the Wi-Fi to work while we were there and the person at the office said people had been complaining about it.

While traveling from Houston to Destin, Fl, we needed to spend a night in Mobile. We learned about this park in the internet, and was very pleased with our stay. We It was easy to get to from I-10 and after check in, pulled into a nice, wide, gravel pull through. it was not very level so I had to disconnect my truck so we could get the 5th wheel level. Normally when we are just setting up for a quick over niight stay we keep the truck hooked up so that we don't disturb our neighbors early in the morning. This was not a deal breaker. During a stroll around the park, we did notice a lot of long term residents, but the site was clean and orderly. There were lots of fully mature trees, so we had plenty of shade. All in all a good place to stay.

We have stayed here twice as we passed through Beaumont on I-10. The park is an easy on and off the interstate and is right in Beaumont. There is a small lake there with sites around it. The laundry facilities are clean and well kept and is connected to the office and public restrooms. The staff was friendly and helpful with directions on our first stay there. The sites were adequate although some can get pretty soggy after a heavy rain.

We have stayed here twice as we passed through the area. It is a good place for over night stays, but there is very little there to keep you entertained. It is clean with level sites that are gravel with grass in between. It is very close to I-10 with easy on and off. The staff appeared to be friendly and helpful.

This is a great place. All sites appear to be level, and our gravel based site was smooth and clean. The entire park is clean and very well maintained. The staff was friendly and most helpful with questions. Even though we use the facilities in our RV, I usually check out the parks restrooms. The ones here were all tile and were very clean and fresh. They do not have cable TV (a 1 point deduction) and their Wi-Fi was weak and slow.(Another point deduction). The park is convenient to down town Charleston, but traffic on US 17 can be really busy. However, we will definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for two weeks while visiting family in the area. The RV portion is fairly new and nice and clean. All sites are concrete and level. The staff was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the sites are pretty narrow. If there are RVs on both sides of you it would feel quite crowded. The bathrooms are in the club house of the golf course, so not really convenient for the RV park. This resort appears to be a golf course first and RV park second. For our needs it was fine, and we will plan on staying there again if we take our RV to the region in the future.

The park is very clean with lots of amenities. The sites are pretty level, and spacious. The staff, mostly work campers, were all friendly and very helpful. We were escorted to our site and even with a pull through, we were helped getting lined up on the site. Each site had a picnic table and a fire bowl which was cleaned out daily. My only issue was the size of the lake. On the internet, it looks much larger than it really is. It is actually more of a small pond. Not a deal breaker, but a disappointment. We will definitely stay there again.

The landscaping between the sites was watered daily and well maintained. Many of the sites were laid out at different angles with lots of trees. Therefore you didn't get the sense of just being lined up in a row. We would definitely stay here again.

We only stayed one night as we were passing through the area. The Park was clean and well laid out. At check in, we were escorted to our site which is always appreciated. Lots of tress, and good level sites. We would definitely stay here again. Oh, did I mention the little ice cream shop at the office?

We spent one night while passing through the area. As a place for a stop over, it was adequate, but I would not recommend for a longer stay. The sites were all grass with a little gravel, no patio or picnic table. There were several RV's that were set up, but not being occupied.

I was a long term guest as I was working in the area. The park was perfect for my needs. It was quiet, neat, and orderly. The managers, were most helpful the whole time I was there, and I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know them. They kept the place running smoothly.

Upon arriving the staff went out of their way to get us checked in and to be helpful. Once we were checked in, we were guided to our site which was very helpful. While on the road, we blew off our bathroom vent cover. They gave me the name of an excellent mobile service man who was out the next morning and took care of it. Our only complaint was that the grass around the site had not been mowed and was really high. As it rained while we were there, this made it very messy to get in and out of the RV. If not for this I would have rated them a 10.
