Nice and clean park. Staff nice. Safe with roving security guard. Needs picnic tables to enjoy the outdoors.

Very friendly staff. Easy to get to. Fine for overnight. Grass and gravel sites are a little messy as you get grass in the coach.

"WHAT THE H*LL ARE YOU DOING HERE?" was the greeting we got from the owners of this park. We stopped in Van Horn due to an ice storm. The first exit we came to had a campground so we went to check it out. My husband stopped our 2005 motorhome by the entrance while I drove in the park in our Lexus SUV to check out the park to make sure it was a safe park for us and our 3 children before registering. We drove in and then on the way back out the owner and her daughter jumped out of nowhere wearing black in front of the SUV scaring us to death. After that disturbing greeting (above), the daughter continued to block us (it appeared she was packing a gun in her pocket)while her mother lectured us on driving past the registration office (the office was dark and closed). This is the Bates Motel of RV parks. Do not even slow down near this park. We ended up staying at the KOA.
