A good park close to the interstate, so there is traffic noise. Lots are roomy as it looks like the park was supposed to be a housing project that did not get off the ground. There are curbs to the entrance of the sites.sites are level. Very friendly people and we got an escort to our site. They serve free coffee and pastry in the morning. Internet very good. Would stay there again when passing through.
A good little park for an overnight. It is an older camping so the lots are quite narrow, but there is enough room for the slides. The lots are fairly level. The owners are very friendly. Wi-Fi is available in the community room and in the sites close to the community room. The majority of sites seems to be for permanent residents. Close to I-44 but traffic noise wasn't bad.
We came here because of one of the reviews. It was OK. We only hooked up to the electric. Of course the RV's are close together, and it is not really a place to sit outside, unless you sit by the little creek that runs behind the RV sites. A little bus drives around and will give you a lift to the casino. The truck parking lot was full, but it didn't bother us as we had the air conditioner on. Can't beat the price. We would stay there again.
Clean park, gravel sites, paved roads, well maintained. The roads are a bit narrow, but are OK. Pool was closed. Very friendly service. We found it a bit pricey at $42.50 (with Good Sam discount plus taxes). Internet coupon only good for 4 hours. We missed the entrance the first time driving by. The best way is to take exit 242 from I-25 to 550 then turn left at 528 and it is about 1/2 mile on the left site. Walmart close by. The auto museum is on the same property.
We decided to come here because of previous reviews. We were certainly not disappointed. i had called ahead to make sure a site was available. When we got there the manager was waiting outside to welcome us. its a clean park with gravel lots. full hookup, hydro is extra. The view of the lake and mountains is great. 4.30 is happy hour, BYOB, but the hostess provided stuffed peppers. internet is the best we've had. All the expensive parks we've been to internet was terrible. We would most certainly come back here. A walk to the lake is nice as well.
We love this park. This is the second year for us. The resort has changed management. I understand from a few reviewers that last year from March onwards, things weren't so great. This park is neat, well kept. Has different size sites, but all pretty private. All sites have cement slabs and are very level. Each site has its own landscaping, as the sites are individually owned. The park is close to the beach and has beach access. Our site this year, is on the main pond which has lots of birds, ducks and turtles. Our favorite park by far. Wi-Fi is by Tengointernet. We are staying here for 2 months.
It is a big park with cottage rentals and a lot of permanent guests. Our site was by the recreation building. Our site was pretty narrow. We had a difficult time trying to get our fifth wheel placed so that we could extend our slides without hitting either the post or have the tree branches against the side or have the wheels against the cement pads on which a small picnic table is located. We decided to go for the tree branches. Our site was also not level, which was a problem as we do not have hydraulic levelers. Utilities work well, Internet is good. But also be aware you are very close to I-35 and the noise is constant.
We were on the road and about 45 minutes away. I called in to see if they had any pull through available. They asked if we were members of coast to coast. We are not. Apparently you need to be a member of this in order to camp here. Too bad, as it did not leave us much time to find other RV places and read reviews. I gave it a rating of 5 because we did not see the restricted access anywhere
A lovely little camping. We came here because of the reviews we had read, we were not disappointed. The campground was all decorated for Christmas. it is hilly, but the sites are level. Escort to site. The site was clean and the camping looks well kept. We stayed for 2 nights. Would definitely come back. Close to shopping, some sight seeing and restaurants.
We stopped here for 2 nights. it is ideal for us to de-winterize our trailer and to provision. Shopping is 5 min away. We stayed here in March as well to winterize our trailer. They are very conveniently located just off the highway. There is highway noise, but we did not mind as it was so convenient. The sites are gravel and pretty level. The camping is well kept and clean. Easy in and out. Staff is very friendly. I have to say I would not spend my vacation there, but for a couple of days to get organized it is ideal. We definitely will come back.
A very nice RV park near Shreveport on W.70th St. Easy in and out. Clean and well kept. Very friendly. All sites have either table and chairs or picnic tables. There is a little store with RV supplies. We stayed for 2 nights and would come back. Close to shopping and restaurants. There is a bit of traffic noise from I-20, but it depends which way the wind blows. We did not find it bothersome at all. We would definitely come back.
