This is one of the few parks that are really working on upgrading the facilities. New office and recreation hall being finished and loads of landscaping going in. This used to be a pretty rundown park but the owners and management are really trying. Close to a Provincial day use park so weekend traffic can be a challenge but a beautiful ( only electric motors) lake is within walking distance. Sites are back in but easliy accessible. Good width for slides and awnings. Electric power is mainly 30 amp but there are some 50 amp sites. The 30 amps seems a bit weak at times. Lots of shade and privacy. Animals are not always on leash which could be a problem when the park gets busy in the summer. We will stay most of this summer.
Only stayed one night but this is a nice park. One chap told us that they only allow 30 day stays so this wouldn't be a destination park for say the summer season. Nice and clean but the spaces were a bit short and narrow and access to them was a bit difficult for us in our 38' plus bike rack 5th wheel. The site we had was a bit muddy but right beside a stream. We would definitely stay there again but it is a bit of a drive to the nearest shopping. Something to be aware of if you don't have a towed vehicle in a motorhome.
This is a nice clean park. The oranges had all been harvested by the time we arrived but the trees were in bloom. The sites are mostly pull throughs and long enough to accommodate our 55' trailer and truck. Wide enough to get all the slides out. Bit of highway noise as it is right off highways on two sides. Very level and easy for walking great staff. Would stay here again.
This is kind of our home park when we are in the area. There are no real activities available but there is a club house and exchange library. The place used to be cleaner but with a change of management there is a bit of decay creeping in. Most of the residents are full time and there are a few park models on site. The pull throughs are mostly for overnighters and short term residents. The other sites have concrete pads which the pull throughs do not. This can get a bit muddy in the Pacific North West. A very nice setting and a friendly site.
As an overnight park this would rate a 10 but as a destination or extended stay I rated it an 8 as there are few activities on site. Great staff and very clean. We went through a bit of a run down part of town to get to the park so were really pleasantly surprised to see the site. Very neat and clean. Definitely on my I will return list.
This was one scary site. Not because of the neighbors or the staff but the site is on a side hill and very narrow. We were told the sites were 70 ft long. They weren't. They were also so narrow that we couldn't put our our uphill slide. and our step was hanging in the air on the downhill side. Hard to access and get out of. Not all that clean or well maintained. Will not stay there again.
This is a nice park set between I-5 and 99 for easy access from either. Great staff and clean park. Only drawback is the railway crossing running east of the park boundary. Trains run frequently but if you ask for a site on the West side it is not so bad. A great park for over nighting on the way North or South. Not much to do in walking distance but close enough to Stockton (8-10 miles) We would stay again.
This could be a wonderful park if they just would clean it up and enforce the rules. Lakeside sites have no sewer connections, cable or wifi. The view was wonderful. The more permanent residents have turned the park into a dump with things strewn all over the place. Too bad as the location is within walking distance to the London Bridge. The site was quite narrow but sort of standard. Cleaned up this could be a 10
