STAY AWAY! Woodall's still lists this place as a KOA. IT IS NOT! We arrived only after winding several miles through a residential neighborhood and then down a rough, potholed, ungraded road. Perhaps they lost access from the interstate when they lost KOA status. We had reserved a pull-through and when we arrived were told there was none. Sewer water had backed up into several sites, pumps were running and the ground was flooded almost everywhere. The resulting mosquitoes were vicious. Hook-ups were not well maintained and our site was right on top of the neighbors. There were several very run down rigs in what appeared to be permanent sites. Ugh! We left the first thing in the morning and will never return.
Beautiful park just 5 miles from the entrance to West Glacier. Easy on and off from Hwy 2, but far enough from road to be quiet. Large sites, most are pull-through with plenty of room. The staff is friendly and professional. The price is more reasonable than many in the area, yet quality and cleanliness is outstanding. Lovely large grassy areas to walk in with stately pine trees circling the property. Cabins and yurts are also available. We will return here every time we are in the area!
Very friendly staff! The opportunity to order dinner and have it delivered to our door was a welcome treat after a long day of driving. We enjoyed the walking trail that looped from the park into the desert. Far from city lights, the night sky was amazing! This was a pleasant overnight stay.
The office staff was friendly and helpful. Although billed as "the prettiest park on the mountain" there is nothing the least bit scenic about it. Lots of park models. There was a very unusual odor all the time we were there. It was the only park with pull through sites in the area.
